Should I just list NPC cats as my characters parents?

(Unless someone is willing to have their cat be my cat's parent/s.)

Yeah that would be fine @XxLyraxX. Just throw @Vashonn their names and we'll get them in the list of NPCs.

@XxLyraxX yep, any NPC cats that you want to come up with are fine to have, so long as you tell us and we give the thumbs up. It'd be preferred that you include a line or two telling us about the general personality of the cat(s), just so we can better understand how they will work in the story. Any NPCs that are player-created will be used *EXCLUSIVELY* by the player, unless they give the okay to another person to use that NPC in their own post. Also, in the event that the PC who created the NPCs is removed from the RP (via abandonment or otherwise), the NPCs they created will be given over to the GM team to do with as they please (usually involving vast amounts of destruction).

Appearance

Background:
Wildpaw was an adventurous kit -much more so than most. Unlike his elder sister, Rosepaw, Wildkit -as he was then- dreamed of nothing more than running free through the trees. One day, upon managing to escape from their mother, Feathertail, Wildkit ventured out into the forest with Rosepaw following behind. He wandered, hoping to find some prey to bring back. In an unlucky turn of events, Wildkit found what he was looking for.

Before they reached the Mossy Rocks on the AshTribe border, Wildkit heard a nearby bush rustle. Ecstatic that he had found what he had come for, Wildkit charged straight into the underbrush. As he neared the source of sound, the rustling of underbrush changed form, becoming instead a loud hissing. A long, slender head with beady black eyes emerged. Mouth open wide, the fangs of the adder Wildkit had mistook for a mouse were as long as a cat's legs. Staring in the face of death, Wildkit stood his ground. He knew well enough that one didn't run from an adder and live to tell the tale. He would stand and protect his sister, even if it cost his life.

"Run!" he yelled, before the adder lashed out, catching his front leg with a fang. The pain caused Wildkit to collapse on the spot. He watched as the snake came closer, beginning to coil around him. As his vision faded, Wildkit saw a cat approaching, a huge, grey she-cat he recognized as Greycloud. The much larger cat easily drove off the adder as Wildkit slipped completely into unconsciousness.

When he awoke, Wildkit found himself in the Shaman's den, his sister still by his side. As he lay there recovering from his wounds, sense finally overcame his foolhardiness. From this altered perspective he gained two things: a profound respect for Greycloud, which keeps him in his place, and the drive to become a great warrior, so that if the day ever comes, he can repay the favor, to Rosepaw, to Greycloud, and to his tribe.

Personality:
Wildpaw is the epitome of the word 'energetic'. He is a natural-born explorer. He enjoys nothing more than wandering WaveTribe territory -something which has gotten him in trouble more than a few times. Such an adventurous nature is complemented by Wildpaw's bravery. He is unwary of the dangers involved in much of what he does or, more accurately, doesn't think before he acts. Though he is chided constantly by his elders, he very rarely takes heed of their word.

Though rather tormenting for his mentor, Greycloud, Wildpaw uses his traits positively. If needed, he would devote all his energy, all his courage to the protection of his tribemates. Given proper guidance, many believe he will become a great WaveTribe warrior.

Other: Wildpaw shows a particular knack for combat, rarely ever being bested by his fellow WaveTribe apprentices.

I'm fine with just using the name you've listed for their mother. What's funny is that the personality I had picked out for Rosepaw is the exact opposite of Wildpaw so they could definitely complement each other. Should I pm you so we can discuss their backstory?

Tiny and petite, will most likely grow up to be small in size. She isn't very strong physically but she makes up for it by being light and quick on her paws.

Appearance

Background:
On the opposite end of the spectrum from her brother Wildpaw, Rosepaw was content to stay within the confines of the camp. There was enough there to keep her occupied and busy. Besides, she knew that soon she would become an apprentice and be able to leave the camp with permission. Rosepaw normally spent her days flitting around camp asking cats if she could help and staring up at them with pleading eyes. Most of them humored her, sending her on "missions" to fetch pebbles or sticks. It generally kept her busy. However, when she wasn't occupied with this, Rosepaw would follow her brother around. She didn't do it to annoy him or seem over-bearing, she just wanted to keep him safe like any big sister would. She did this so much it became a habit.

When Wildpaw decided he was going to go adventuring outside of the camp, Rosepaw's desire to keep him safe briefly over-ruled the Tribe's rules. It was just as well that she followed him, especially when he got scratched by the adder. Rosepaw had run as fast she her little legs could carry her back to camp, shrieking and yowling to any adult that would listen. For the first time in her life, Rosepaw was panicking. Greycloud heard her and raced out of the camp. Rosepaw was forced to wait, fretfully pacing until Wildpaw was carried back and taken into the Shaman's den.

Rosepaw had been so worried and felt so helpless that in the days of Wildpaw's recovery, Moonfur allowed her to help nurse her brother back to health. This then sparked the idea to become a Shaman, so she would have the knowledge and the power to help others. She didn't want to feel helpless ever again.

Personality:
Rosepaw emits a calm and reserved aura. She is quite adept at patience despite her age and while not nearly as energetic as her brother, she still contains a type of energy that bespeaks of determination and the will-power to succeed. She isn't one to quit early on and is patient enough to see it to the end. She enjoys caring for others and tends to put the well-being of others before her own. With a thirst for knowledge, Rosepaw seeks out the unknown and can become very excited at the prospect of something new. When given a task, she throws herself into it with fever. She becomes determined to give it her all and do the best that she is able. However, this could also count as a flow. Rosepaw's desire to complete the task perfectly could leave her unable to see how well she's already done and instead push herself to do better, maybe pushing herself too hard in the end.

@Vashonn Question, can one of my characters be the ex-Shaman apprentice of WaveClan? Maybe SkyTribe could have sent a message, and stated that he has to be a warrior, not a shaman?
