Eleanor Greene
Description: Standing at 160cm tall and weighing in at just over 50kg, Eleanor has a petite build reinforced with an athletic physique. Years of competing in any sport available to her, as well as all the traditional althetics and marathons, has given her a high level of stamina and surprising physical strength, limited only by her small frame and weight. Her hair is died bright pink, something she started to raise money for a breast cancer charity, in commemoration of her mother, and simply continued to do; accepting it as part of her mildly extravagant personality.

Heroic Persona: William Marshal - Called the Knight of Knights, Marshal was an English knight who rose to prominence fighting in tournaments, and the feared melee, in France as well as in several wars. He kept England together during the disastrous reign of King John and was regent for Henry III, maintaining peace at a time at constant threat from France. He served under both Henry II and Richard I (the Lionheart) despite fighting the latter when serving the former, famously deciding not to kill Richard in battle through superior skill in arms. He is said to have defeated around 500 men in the melee, a normally outrageous claim if not for his singularly great success. When one thinks of chivalry, William Marshal is often looked to as the first true embodiment of romantic chivalry emerging in this period.
Marshal's skill in arms, from the broadsword to the spear, mace, lance and his general skill in battle have become Eleanor's, as well as his raw strength, useful as she would have difficulty wielding his favoured weapons at her size. When she needs to enter battle she can summon a knight's armour (chainmail with reinforced plating on shins/arms etc) as well as a shield and a broadsword or lance.
History: Born to a British mother and a French father, Eleanor was raised aware of both her parents' cultures, languages and customs. Many a summer was spent in southern France around Marseille, visiting extended family on her father's side but for the large part their days were lived out in South-Western England. Both her parents were successful in their respective careers, her father a high level administrator in the finance industry and her mother running a small chain of book shops.
With one elder brother, their large family home in the countryside often seemed empty in the brief periods she spent there between school terms. From four she went to boarding schools, as did her brother albeit to a different one, and received 'the best education money could buy'. Spending a lot of time in such a highly wealthy environment had her losing some touch with how the real world worked and, after a few friends suggested that they do some charity work in refugee camps in the Middle East, she was rudely awakened to how things truly rolled on in the world.
After a university course studying history she bounced around several jobs in charitable organisations in the finance department, having received extensive mentoring from both her parents in the area, before setting up her own company specialising in matching charities to businesses both local and global and creating mutually beneficial partnerships for both.
A year with no rest or holiday from work, Eleanor was eventually convinced by her concerned brother to take a break and join the family on the annual summer retreat to France. It was here, resting in the glorious summer haze of the Southern French countryside, that they had their first taste of the disaster befalling humanity. Fleeing early, they retreated to Carcassonne with other refugees where they immediately set about organising new arrivals and attempting to manage the crisis now facing them.
