Prometheus walked into the Sorcerer's office and set down. He'd dealt with the man enough to know that he wouldn't expect Prometheus to stand on ceremony. A young Japanese woman, maybe nineteen or twenty and wearing a locking collar, walked over with a tray that held a bottle and two glasses. She placed the glasses in front of the two of them and poured some sort of liquor from the bottle. When she bent over, however, Prometheus noticed that she had a furry tail. One of her ears had also fallen from under her hair, revealing that it was slightly pointed and had a tuft of fur on the tips.

"Domo," he said to the woman, then addressed the Sorcerer. "A Kitsune? I knew you controlled spirits, but you're dealing in slaves now too?"

"A Yakuza boss bet her on the second fight, Franky vs. Salan. I allowed him ten thousand for her." He sipped his drink. "If you've got a problem with it, you can buy her from me and free her."

Prometheus sipped his drink as well, looking over to where the girl stood beside the bar, head bowed. "What's my cut for tonight's fight?" he asked.

"Eighty seven hundred." the Sorcerer replied.

"How 'bout I take the girl and we call it even."

The Sorcerer thought about it for a few seconds, then opened up his desk and pulled out a manila envelope. After signing several pages of Japanese text, he slid it over to Prometheus, who also signed the papers. After checking the pages to make sure everything was in order, he handed the key to the girl's collar to Prometheus. "Thank you for taking her off of my hands. Selling a slave would be too much of a hassle."

"Great," Prometheus said, signing a few more pages and handing the girl the packet and key to her collar. He then turned around and addressed the Sorcerer again. "And my pay for patching up your fighters?"

"Right," the sorcerer said, grabbing a stack of hundred dollar bills and counting a few out. "500 ought to do it." Prometheus flicked his own ear and the Sorcerer nodded. "Right. What's with some fighter's fascination with cutting an elf's ears off after beating them?" He added an extra two hundred to the stack, which Prometheus picked up and pocketed.

"What can I say? Underground fights tend to attract psychopaths." The Sorcerer nodded and and Prometheus left with the girl. Once outside the office he handed her the seven hundred and used the key to unlock her collar. "You're free now. Enjoy it." he said in Japanese.

"But, Prometheus-sama, if you will allow me to speak, I know no one in this land, and do not even speak the language. How will I survive?"

He smirked. He hadn't thought of that. "In that case, would you like a job? My house is a mess. I could use a maid."

The girl bowed. "I would love to be the servant of a god again, master." she responded.

"Fine, just don't call me "Master"."

"Yes, Prometheus-sama."

"Good," he said. "Now I'm going to change and go get something to eat." He walked down the hall and into the locker room, only to be followed by the girl. "Uh, I'm going to change now. You'll need to wait outside."

"Do you not want help bathing?"

"Uh", he stammered, "n-no, I'll just change, and bathe at home."

"Very well." she said, and walked outside.

A few minutes later Prometheus left wearing a tee shirt and bluejeans. "Now, let's go get something to eat," he said, and walked towards the bar area.
