This is the story of Epic Heros, you know the type that challenge the gods themselves
If we were rolling stats you'd start at 12 an roll a six sided but I'd limit no more than two stats at 18
Oh an before I'm accused of godmoding remember as the GM an Benevolent Dictator I can match NPC stats or send an endless horde after the players
A Fighter with 200 hp and vast fighting skills can be taken down if I chose to send an infinite number of Driver ants at them while they are trapped underground

I really wouldn't worry about it. It's quite a rare thing to use up ten uses of bardic ability in a day when they have a duration based on concentration. Boosting morale for an entire battle is a single use. Thus, unless you have to switch abilities over and over to counter fear effects or whatnot, then you're not likely to run out. Even if you do run out, there's the spells! Bards get a boatload of spells to boot, including cure wounds!

and that's why I love bards! there's so many options! even on Dungeons & Dragons Online I'm a bard.

There's an old adage we used to have.
Fighter bests rogue. Rogue bests mage. Mage beats fighter. Afterwards the cleric heals them all.

The bard is unique enough to escape that.

Mind you the scariest group is the all cleric group. They can wear down anything over time thanks to cures, have buffs that can make them decent fighters, antimagic spells, natural undead control and decent armour. They're just not very subtle.

Chapter 3 of The Complete Bard's Handbook talks about demihumans as bards. Not only does it have a specialized kit for each demihuman (Dwarven Chanter, Elven Minstrel, etc.), but it also has a table that shows what other bard kits (described in Chapter 2) that demihumans can play & the level limits for each.
Personally, I like the Blade kit.

And, yes, I still plan on joining this. I have an avatar I wanna use (a gorgeous piece of digital art featuring an elf/half-elf) I'm just having trouble settling on a class. Originally I was thinking a thief, but now I'm considering a a multiclass character.... or possibly, after looking over these bard kits...

@RumikoOhara - Are we allowed to use the class kits from the handbooks, or would you prefer just the basic classes presented in the Player's Handbook?
