So the thought occurs to me... if some people are using secondary decks that use insanely powerful cards that weren't considered balanced enough to be used in the RP proper, what's to stop them using said overpowered in serious duels outside of the tournament?

Pretty much, other than deciding my duel with Matt will be done at a later time so some other pairing can duel, and me changing up a few cards and my deck. No one has posted though, at least not a duel post.

It's also the image I use for Jay, my first OC. ...Which is also where the name comes from.

Nice, though I've never seen that show before. Speaking of namesakes, my name also comes from the name of one of my first OCs, Kreinbahthur. The name is composed of three words from the Thu'um, meaning "Sun, Wrath, Overlord". I only used him in one RP though, but it was a really fun one I still have fond, nostalgic memories of.

I've never used the original version of Jay in a RP. Mostly because he's a trans-dimensional pseudo-god who casually stops time and commits omnicide on a regular basis. Yeah... he's not welcome in most RPs.

Maybe if I GM a RP I could use him to keep everyone else in line. Somehow I don't think power creep would be an issue.

Somebody did that once in an RP I was in. The GM made their character very powerful, but only to function as a policing tool.

By the way, I'm bored as hell. Anyone want to do a random duel with me, just for fun? I've actually wanted to duel Cybell just to see what it'd be like, but I'll take anything at this point.

So me and Krein dueled as Bell and Lars. It was just for fun, but now we have a finished duel. A finished duel with Lars in it. Not sure how it being against Bell makes any sense, but.... it's a duel for Lars. Any chance that duel glitch could have put Bell subbing in as his opponent through some completely BS nonsensical logic?

I would appreciate it if our duel could become "canon" in the RP. That way the time Jay and I spent won't be wasted, we get to do something, and the RP is revived and can thus start moving again.

Since Jax is gone now that Zagan has quit and a glitch has occurred in the tournament's bracket, I was thinking that maybe Lars got a "by" into round two, letting him duel Cybell while Peter is paired up with Aeron instead. As for the fight that would have normally occurred between Bell and Nyne... the glitch separated them and gave Nyne a by into the next round maybe? Or we could just have some characters duel twice to let the RP have more duels.
