Heloise stepped up, grinning happily. She brushed her hair back. "I'm Heloise" she said brightly, grinning "this seems like an awesome guild. I am well. I just have a question. Do you know where I can stable my horse? I would like to see him safe, and let him rest it has been a long journey"

She waited for an answer, shifting happily from foot to foot. She held out her hand again to the guild master to shake, feeling like it would be to forward to hug the him.

It did seem like a pretty lively guild, and she felt like she would fit in here well.

Alaric squared his shoulders and nodded to the short master, examining his calm demeanor. Even though he was small he commanded attention and obedience, Alaric admired such qualities.

He eyed the Leonin with passing curiosity, typical for the lesser hybrids to act on instinct. He did think them one of the few most noble, they were made for nobility after all.

He made his way through the crowd trying not to hit anyone on the head with his bundle of armor, standing in front of the master.

"A fine speech" he said in a deep cold voice "when do I get started?"

Udir, still exhausted from his long trip from Oakenshire to Sersia, finally arrived safetly to his destination after more than a month of travelling . Mounted on his donkey, Udir proceeded inside the town, It was the first town inhabited by humans Udir had ever visited, he was amazed on how buildings, roads and people appeared. Carried by joy, Udir almost forgot the purpose why he travelled. " Wait I almost forgot my business here." He thought, scratching his head. "I, first, have to locate the guild hall."

Udir started moving, seeking the hall, he asked almost every person on the town. After moments of searching he finally found the hall. He recognized the emblem marked on the banner, waving in front of the building, it was also the emblem marked on the letter he recieved, It was the Iron Tree. Udir lets out a long sigh of relief."It took me long locating it, I thought I was lost." He uttered. The Dwarf gently unmounted from his donkey and tied it to the nearest post. He stood nervously in front of the entance,
slowly pushed inside, bringing him to the hallway. The hallway was beautifully arranged, there was lots of paintings on the wall, also a lot of pegs for coats and caps. The floor was carpeted and tiled. The wall and ceilling was perfectly painted. A man approached him asking him "What is your business here, little fellow." Udir pulled out the invitation letter, given to him, from his pocket and gave it to the man. "Udir from Oakenshire, at your service. I came to the right place, right?"

Len peeked from behind the wall. The stage was set, and now he just had to wait. Now, now, slowly, he chanted. Moments later, the target was in sight and Len quickly hid himself behind the wall. The target, a man who was in his mid thirty, came sauntering by with a black bag of garbage. "Hiss... What a brat! If I see him again I swear I will..." His sentence stopped short as he walked into an invisible string, making him fell face-first. Ha! That was what he deserved for bullying him and his friends! Len grinned, satisfied that he had gotten his revenge and was about to make his escape when a force grasped his arm.

"You! You are the boy from Iron Tree!" The shopkeeper yelled, recognizing him immediately. Oh no. How did he manage to get up so quickly? "You come here with me, I am going to report you to..." The man was about to take him away when Len kicked him hard at his groin. "Gosh!! You!!" Len took the chance to escape, seizing the opportunity to mock at the man before he fled into the crowd. The man's face was red with anger and that made Len laugh even more.

"I'm back!!" Len announced his arrival back to the guild before noticing a few new faces. His first instinct was they were here to pick a fight. "Cool! Are we going to fight?" He sat at a chair nearby, waiting for the fight to take place. Not until one member of the guild told him that they were actually here to join. He scanned the newcomers quickly until something caught his eye. Wow! A cat! Len barely noticed that the guild master was speaking and pounced on him. "You are amazing! Can you be my pet?"

Alaric scowled a bit and moved to the side setting down his bits on one of the tables and sitting down himself to wait until the fuss died down. He sighed a little seeing the juvenile displays all around but was sure such shenanigans would die down soon, or so he hoped at least.

He leaned back against the wall and made himself as comfortable as possible crossing his arms across his chest. He found the appearance of a delinquent in the guild curious, but then again he had seen stranger things in his travels. Hell he wasn't much older himself when he was introduced to violence.

Atheena turned towards all the commotion finding that the guild master had made himself known. She glanced down at her companion before making her way over to Makarov. At least that's what she thought his name was. Oh well. Atheena wasn't good with names so she didn't really make it much of a point to attempt and remember them.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Atheena." She said pleasantly before finding a place to sit against the wall and observe the way the others socialized. She wasn't exactly shy....she just really wasn't in the mood for much socializing at the moment not to mention she was a bit tired from the travel here.

"Get my mirror, love." She commanded her furry companion. He let out a huff before rummaging around in the small, velvet bag that she sat down on the floor and pulling out her silver hand mirror and handing it to her. Atheena gladly took it, holding it up and looking herself over for a moment, making sure her hair looked nice and that she didn't have major bags under her eyes from not sleeping. She did want her new guilted to think nicely of her, after all, and an untidy appearance wouldnt make a good first impression. Once she was done looking at herself, she say the mirror down and continued observing her guild mates from a distance.

"In your tongue my family would be called SwiftPaw, and you are welcome."

An improbably small man revealed himself then to be the master of the guild. He told Swift that the guild was slightly different from a Pride, but Swift didn't see it. The man had an odd idea about his culture, but he felt it best not to bother correcting him. Humans never learned anything the Leonin tried to teach them. Swift merely nodded at him.

He was about to address the Guildmaster when something jumped and clung to him. Swift reflexively struck out, his paw(claws blessedly retracted) making contact before his head had even turned to see what it was. It was, in fact, a smaller boy, who was knocked through the air and across the room by the force of the blow.

Swift's ears flattened in alarm, and he rushed over to where the boy landed. "My apologies, small cub. It is unwise to surprise a Leonin."

There were a couple more newcomers that drew her attention, a large lion, and an equally large woman. Arden had calmed down, as he wasn’t used to such a large group. He was quite fascinated by the Leonin who had introduced himself as Swiftpaw, perhaps given they were half brethren.

This made the Valkyrie happy the guild was that of a melting pot of people. This place was pretty lively and she may have to watch herself later on. Although it seemed pretty exciting and she looked forward to it compared to her old slow paced life.

Suddenly a man, who was a bit on the small side, had begun to speak. He had such a demanding voice it seemed that the entire hall had stopped to listen. When he introduced himself as the master, Solan suddenly felt as if she had somehow disrespected him by not noticing him in the first place. He didn’t seem mad, however, and gave a very lovely speech that made the nervous knots in her stomach disperse.

It was then when Makarov, as he called himself, said they were accepted into Iron Tree just like that. There wasn’t any initiation, test, or even an essay to fill out. She figured Makarov had a good sense of character judgment, and maybe got the gist of who they were when they didn’t know he was present. Either way, Solan was ecstatic, and gave her griffin a tight squeeze much to his distress, flapping her wings rather excitedly.

“I can’t believe we made it in! Oh goodness, thank you so much, Master, sir! I’m Solan and this is Arden. It’s a pleasure to meet you!”

Alaric saw the boy fly through the air and stood up in reflex his sword in hand. In a few steps he was beside the Leonin his blade menacingly at the beast mans throat as he helped the boy up with his free hand his eyes locked on the aggressor.

"up slowly beast" he commanded

Swift touched the blade with his now-extended claws, making a soft clicking sound. "I meant him no harm, I was merely surprised. But don't call me beast. A beast is a low creature who thinks of nothing but hunger. This is not me. Please, put your false-claw away. If we are of the same guild now, we should not quarrel like roosters."

"SwiftPaw, it's a pleasure to meet you,"

A small man, sitting on a chair next to her and Swift had began to speak. Was he another member of the Guild? He appeared to be giving advice, or, more like wisdom.

"For someday, you may require their assistance, and they may not be so quick to help one who was so easily thrown into rage by a simple question."

Yet another wave of guilt overcame Rose, but she was learning. She was growing, and that was at least something to be proud of. When the old an revealed himself to be Makarov, the Guild Master, Rose's knees almost gave way, and she became pale. Did the Guild Master just watch her throw a chair into another man's face? She felt like she could faint, but was relieved when she realized Makarov had welcomed them all as members. Would she be punished later? Would Makarov hold a grudge against her? She was worried but filled with immense joy. She made it to Iron Tree!

Rose was about to introduce herself to the Guildmaster, when a small boy announced himself, asking something about a fight? She watched as the boy suddenly pounced onto Swift only to be knocked across the room. As Swift attempted to help the boy up a tall, broad man pointed his blade towards Swift whilst helping the boy up. Rose's heart jumped, and she immediately ran towards the two, putting herself between the man's blade and Swift, such as Swift did for her.

Rose looked up to the elf man without fear. "We are Guildmates. We shall not fight amongst ourselves," Rose stated, acknowledging Swift's words.

He pulled his blade back and sheathed it, looking both girl and Leonin straight in the eyes with the cold gaze of a slayer, his voice gave no hint of any softness or relief, the same deep and cold as before "I do not fight, I slay anything that inspires me to do so. You should learn to control your temper if you want to live among humans and other races Hunter." He turned his voice to the girl "And you should learn your place girl, nobility is a virtue best reserved for when it actually matters"

He gripped the boy by the shoulders tightly and lifted him up so he could look him in the face, turning even darker "I am surprised you still live if you have a habit of pouncing on the backs of obviously dangerous creatures and people boy.."

Makarov had sat back down, and was sipping at his tea. He didn't seem to pay much mind to what was happening. Of course, he knew what the newcomers did not, and that was that things always worked themselves out int he guild, usually between the members and that was for the best. If he stepped in top stop every little argument or punish ever little threat, then the guild wouldn't ever be able to take care of itself and may come to rely on him. Instead, they needed to rely on one another.

A woman sat not too far behind Alaric, leaning back in her chair and sipping at her drink much like the master. "Funny to see a man who so quickly throws his blade out at others to tell someone to learn their place don't you think? Even funnier to hear the same man then tell someone to control their temper. It's like watching a pot yelling at a kettle for being black." She stayed in her seat the entire time, looking at the man's back. "Maybe you didn't understand the idea behind this guild when you came to join. Maybe your personality isn't suitable for Iron Tree."

Heloise huffed as her question wasn't answered. No matter. She would find somewhere to stable Gallant herself. And then probably end up sleeping in his stall, as that would most likely take most her money. This didn't matter to her, Gallant had been her constant companion these last three years, and he had done well by her, so she would do well by him.

She sat down, looking around at the members in the guild, amazed at them all. She felt half a child again, and knew she had a long way to go. She set her bow and arrows down beside her, and oddly felt shy, something she never was. She looked for Soian, having some hope that she could become friends with her.

The master didn't seem to make any move to break up the fighting that was going on. Did that mean he just didn't care? Or was there a lesson in there? Heloise didn't know. She was leaning towards the latter, but feared someone would get seriously hurt.

She eventually rose, deciding to explore the guild a bit, walking through the common area, and up the stairs looking about just in case she wasn't meant to go up there

"At yours! So you are Udir the black smith of Oakenshire, it's a pleasure to meet you." Spoke the man. " Follow me, I'll lead you to the main hall and introduce yourself to your fellow guild mates", So the man leaded Udir to the main hall, after passing through a long, tunnel-like hallway, they came to a tavern filled with people from different races. "Introduce yourself now, Udir." Said the man. "Udir, the blacksmith from the village of Oakenshire, at your service." He yelled and bowed trying to be polite.

Rose said nothing to the man, she did not wish to further escalate the situation and kept her posture. Although she decided to respect her fellow Guildmates and fight by their side when needed, she felt this would not be the last time she and Alaric would be involved in some type of conflict. As he turned away Rose let her arms down, and observed the Guild Hall along with those in it.

The whole building had an air of chaos for a moment, but that seemed to die down as others went about themselves. Rose couldn't help but feeling energetic all of a sudden, after throwing a chair in a mans face and standing up to the likes of Alaric she could feel somewhat of an adrenaline rush. She wished to participate in a quest, but there appeared to be none at the moment, so she decided the best thing to do at the moment was explore is explore the Guild Hall and become familiar with the rooms and such, possibly get to know the other newcomers she didn't get the chance to speak with.

Rose turned to Swift, "It seem's like there isn't much to do right now, I was going to explore the Guild for a bit, do you want to join me?"

Not long before he landed on the Leonin, an incredible force propelled him across the room and he landed on a wall with a huge crash. He thought he was going to have brain damage for a moment there! He saw stars everywhere and could only stare when another man and a girl went to his rescue. Until he felt a grip on his shoulders that Len finally came into his senses.

Len frowned at the man's words. "Hm? I thought you guys are here to join? Guild mates do not kill each other, if you have no clue about that." He acted like an adult, giving a lecture. Hell, they should be more respectful to him since he joined earlier than them. Hierarchy rules, despite age. But he wouldn't dare say it out loud - it was all in his mind. Len turned to the Leonin, and this time he felt a shudder when he looked at him. "You can't take surprises well, can't you?" Len commented, trying hard to not make eye contact. He is so not taking him as his pet. Wonder why he wanted to at the first place?

He put the boy down "learn or die boy that is the rule in life."

He took a breath to expel the built up tension and sat back down at his spot. He looked around at the others for a while before setting his eyes on the small master and saying

"guild mates shouldn't fight, but if this is their composure then I won't trust any one of them with my safety or my life"

Swift nodded to the red-maned girl, but first turned to the small one as he spoke.
"No," Swift said to the child. "I guess not, man-cub. I come from a wild place, surprises can be deadly. I hope I did not cause you harm. Consider myself in your debt for my behavior."

He turned back to the girl. "Shall we explore, Red-Mane?"

"Red-mane?!" Rose thought, and for a moment was under the impression Swift was making fun of her, but then she realized she had yet to properly introduce herself. "Oh! sorry, I don't think I had a chance to introduce myself, I'm Rose Haruno, this is actually my first day here, but i'm ready for whatever's next." Rose announced proudly. She then began to lead the way around the Guild Hall, assuming Swift would follow.

She spoke in an anxious tone as they walked, "I'm itching to do a quest. I thought people would be coming in and out every second with different stories from different places, but everyone's just sitting around! Hmph. At least it'll be easier to get the quests I want that way." Rose was tempted to explore the city, she wasn't at all familiar with Sersia, and wanted to see what else it held besides Iron Tree. Swift most likely didn't know the area either, learning the area together would be fun. But what if quests were suddenly available while she was gone? Everybody would take the good ones and Rose would be lucky to even have one for herself. There would be time to explore Sersia later, she refused to leave the Guild Hall without a quest.

"What brought you here Swift?" Rose asked curiously.
