[IC] Street race

A black 1977 chevy mustang went through the finish line, a guy in a dark blue shirt opens the door and gets out. Looking at the other racers as they come through the finish line, Alex looks behind his shoulder as his buddy puts his hand on his shoulder. "Not bad man not bad," Alex smiled at that as he close the door to his car.

A beat up grey flat-bed truck with dust and mud covering the bottom sat on the sidelines, a brown-haired girl sat on the hood, her boots hanging off of the front as she watched. She stretched, her back cracking in protest of the movement and she yawned. Her big brown eyes scanned the racers boredly and she smirked when her eyes landed on Alex.

Alex popped the hood, other people wanted to know how the old car could handle it. Under the hood was a V8 engine, "I've made a little tweaks here and there not much to the cars body." He laughed at the other peoples reaction, before he closed the hood to the car. He got back in the car driving to the the back so he could get a closer look at the cars that were here.

Sasha snickered and slid off of the hood of her truck. She dusted herself off, straightened her jacket, and leaned down to ix her boots. She walked over to the driver's side and got in, leaving the door wide open as she leaned back in her chair, loosening the belts on her pant legs a little.

Alex got out of his car and leaned against the hood, his arms crossed as he looked at the circle of cars. He saw a truck in the midst of the circle of vehicles, surrounding the finish line. He saw the girl that was behind the wheel. He looked up to see another few of the racers had challenged him and the girl. With a shrug he got back in his car and toward the starting line.

Sasha noticed some challengers and rolled her eyes, closing the door annd pulled around to the starting line, pulling up next to Alex. She looked over at him and started laughing not to subtly.

Alex looked up, he shook his head. Once the person said go, he slammed his foot down on the gas pedal. He made the sharp turn easily, he hadn't taken the lead just yet still behind two of them. He shifted the gear stick and his car gave off a boost of speed. He passed the second car, but still was behind the first he heard sirens but he didn't care he wanted to win this.

Sasha didn't exactly care, so she just floored it, making the sharp turn just barely. She passed a few cars, laughing as she sped past them. She pulled up behind Alex's car and cocked an eyebrow. How did I get all the way up here? she wondered. Last time she had checked she was near tthe back.

Alex looked in the rear view to see the truck behind him, he shifted gears again. As he made another turn, he got right beside the car in front of him, he looked out the window at the other racer shaking his head. He passed the car, knowing the next turn couldn't be done by regular turning, he shifted the gears again drifting through the next turn watching the racer he just past crash his car.

Sasha had to serve out of the way, but her tire got caught on the other guy's and the truck flipped, rolling over and over. She ducked down and held onto the wheel, trying not to get crushed by the ceiling of her truck, which was being crushed down on top of her as she rolled. Once she stopped, she looked up to see that the truck was on its side. She unbuckled and kicked the window out, the glass shattering against the now totaled truck. "And I thought this truck was beat up before this..." she said to herself. She didn't crawl out yet, and she just sat there in her broken truck, trying to stop being so dizzy.

Alex saw it, he stopped his car. The other racers could pass him for all he cared. He got out, and ran up to the truck crouching down by the drivers side window. He pulled the girl out from behind the wheel. "You alright?" He knew she would be likely hurt or dizzy from the crash, so he didn't get her to her feet yet he still heard the sirens getting closer now. "Hey we need to get out of here now or this isn't going to end well for the both of us."

Sasha nodded and pulled herself up, holding onto his arm to balance herself out. "Thanks. Let's get out of here." she said, hearing the sirens as well.

Alex nodded, he lead her back to his car got her into the passengers seat. He got behind the wheel, and slammed his foot down on the gas pedal. He turned through different streets, seeing the cops lights behind him, he did a few more turns onto abandoned streets finally losing them he stopped on an abandoned bridge. "Well I think that race wasn't worth almost getting arrested."

Sasha smiled slightly. "Tell me about it..." she paused for a moment. "Why'd you give up on the race to help me?" she asked. "You could've just kept on going like everyone else, but you decided to get me..." she looked around. "....and keep me from getting arrested."

Alex shrugged, "I don't really know I just did really." He let out a sigh of relief as he heard the sirens fade, "they must've found another racer to chase besides us." He looks at the road in front of him, "you know I'm not as bad of a guy as other people think I am."

Sasha rolled her eyes. "And you bring that up why?" she teased. She looked over at him and snickered, taking her jacket off to reveal a white tank top underneath with the belts and harness around her torso and over her shoulders.

Alex raised an eyebrow, but kept quiet as he drove. They finally got back onto the main highway heading for Alex's garge where he kept all the cars he won in those races. "Cops won't bother us didn't get a good look at my car or the lisenve plate so they can't place us under illegal street racing."

Sasha shrugged, leaning back in the seat. She watched the outside world fly by as she sat in silence. She could feel a small amount of pain coming from some scrapes and bruises on her shoulders and legs from the accident, but she brushed it off, thinking nothing of it.

Once they got to the garge, he opened it driving in. "You can pick any car you want, I don't drive them the only one I drive is the one I raced with tonight so you can have any car no payment needed." He sat in one of the recliners he had there turning on the TV.
