Masquerade

The Masquerade allows the person wearing the mask to enhance various aspects of his physical, mental or magical abilities by wearing various masks while having the capacity for the user to create his own masks with their own abilities, even with different magic types. The mask types are divided into Physical, Mental and Magic with each having clear advantages and disadvantages. Each Physical and Mental type mask can be used for a total of 10 minutes before having to cooldown for 24h. Repeated use will result in severe damage to the user.

*Physical-Type Masks enhance the user's speed, strength, agility, durability etc.
*Mental-Type Masks enhance the user's wits, bravery, fear, determination, stress etc.
*Magic-Type Masks require mastery of the Masquerade and their abilities vary.

Magic - Type

Nyx: This mask can only be worn on sleeping or unconscious people and it robs them of their souls. The soul then can either be sacrificed in order for one of the other masks to be made or eaten by the user in order to gain that persons magical ability. It's rendered useless after one use, requiring enough power to best one S-class mage in order to be recharged.
Stargazer: This mask gives the user the ability to exchange one full year of their life span in order to see ten seconds into the future. Once the trade is complete, it breaks and requires the magical power equivalent to five S-Class mages to be remade.
Hierophant: This mask gives the user the ability to mimic his target's magic and is broken after one use requiring the magical power equivalent of two S-class mages to be remade.
Nemesis: Once this mask is worn, it does not come off until the steep price of a life has been paid. In exchange for the sacrifice of the wearer, each hit on his body is reflected on the enemy therefore by killing himself, he ends the enemy as well.

Notes
-Prince will gain access to Magic-Type masks after pages 'n' pages worth of posts.
-The Physical-Type masks will develop elemental affinities (ex. User's fists engulfed in flames) as the character progresses in order to eventually reach S-class status.

History

Prince's place of birth or parents is something that he is not aware of since he remembers himself to always have been struggling in the streets of Magnolia. From a young age he was recruited in a local gang and forced to lead unsuspecting civilians into a trap set by the rest of the gang which could then plunder freely. However, his magical ability soon became apparent and the leader of the small gang decided to send away the boy rather than deal with the Army's mage hunters. Up to the tender age of 14, Prince had survived purely on luck and instinct in a world that hated him with a passion.

Eventually, having had enough of people and their hate, he left the town and hid in a forest for the next three and a half years where he honed his abilities and trained as hard as he could for the day he would force the world to accept him. One day though, a group of outlaws who shared the forest with him, ambushed and subdued him before bringing him to their leader who had always been fearful of his magic. He, in turn, casually struck him down with a heavy stone club and ordered his men to let him rot.

Yet that was not how Prince's story would end, it'd rather be how his tale would actually begin.

Waking up in a busy town with no memories of anything but his name and the fact that he was a mage can be a little daunting to say the least. Yet the anxiety that filled every cell of his body vanished in front of the sight that his eyes worked overtime to engrave in his memory.

Before him stood Phoenix Wing and the first page of a long journey.

Personality

Prince is a compulsive liar with delusions of grandeur, a combination which often leads to hilarious outcomes and even funnier situations. Add cowardice and his seemingly aloof demeanor and you have a character straight out of a comedy. That is the part of him that he shows to anyone who makes the effort to approach him despite the fact that it is only the surface of what he is. Deep down, beneath layers of walls that he raised in order to survive a rough childhood and his even harder teenage years, he is terribly afraid of the world and awfully ashamed of himself for being weak and useless, a thought that was pounded on him day after day in the dark alleys of Fiore where thieves hide still.

It's an older character of mine which was based (ability-wise) on Law's Ope Ope no Mi. I, too, can't decide whether it's overpowered for an A-class mage or not so am waiting for a GM's opinion.

Since it can instant dismembering an enemy and so making him completely useless in combat I think so. You can simply cut through anyone and then stab him....this way even the pain thing (Which is guess you added to tone the power down) would be ignored!

I mean you have a sphere where you can control everything inside. Meaning attacks entering the field can be thrown back and people inside would find themselves or rather their body parts shattered all over the ground! It isn't even fully explained in the OP lore and so....just ehhhh well I find it certainly over powered!

If you look at FT even a sphere with full Gravity control is troublesome enough to put Gildarts down and a certain female mage is putting up quiet a show by just altering her weight. You sphere allows many many more....

Dragon Slayer magic has been sealed as it says in the OOC, but you could create some original variation on lightning magic. Please try to make something different then Laxus' lightning magic, yes it is cool, but we want to come up with as many original abilities as we can.

Magic: Sand Molding or Sand creation is a simple magic yet hard to master. The user is using his own magic to first create sand and then giving it form, by infusing more magic into the sand the hardness can be chosen, the more magic the sand gets infused with the harder it gets. The form if the created sand object is chosen by the mage is free off any limitations, it is told that some can not even cast static monuments but moving creatures or constructions but this is something far beyond Sidious knowledge. The strength this magic gets is from the users witts and his imagination and also the ability to quickly adapt to things.Unlike normal molding magic Sidious uses it to enchant himself or to alter the world around him. One can often see him shaping animal like armors to wear or creating fields of sands to slow down the movements of the enemy, also creating sand storms to cut off the enemies' vision while he is still able to navigate through it perfectly (Well he grew up with it).

History: Sidious was born in Desertio as a poor child of a caravan~ During the war 100 years ago and the great aftermath many sought shelter in the desert but few survived the harsh living conditions. It was a bunch of mages who then decided to put their magic to use and to form a small caravan. Up till now the caravan still holds mages in it but they rarely use their magic and they are more likely bringing wares from A to B.Anyways Sidious was born into that caravan, not really gifted with a high potential of magic power but with a blood-line coming directly from mages. Soon he discovered his ability and the caravan taught him about the Do and Don'ts of magic. Weirdly when they cane to a city they turned quiet about and told Sidious to keep shut. It took him years to fully comprehend what his family, this caravan is going through.When he was around 16 the caravan made it's way to Fiore, there Sidious heard words of a guild of mages and so was naturally interested in them.As he was visiting it the caravan decided to move on and leave Sidious behind, Sidious kinda knew they would do something like that and really....nobody wanted to see the tears of the others. It was a harsh action for both parties but for both their sakes. Sidious. Sidious.Sidious wanted to change the view the normal people are having on mages and the caravan wanted Sidious to be happy.So Sidous knocked on the guild's door.
Personality: Sidious is very flirty around women while often being a jester towards men. He often will say sarcastic things and take things not too serious, this is sadly nothing but a mask. In fact he is afraid of being alone since he always had friends or family around and so naturally he is afraid that the fear of wizards will turn towards hate and that he will be lonesome and hated.Either when fighting Sidious is showing wits and quick thinking and so he is not to underestimate.While loving to drink this is also his weakness and he hates gluttony since food was rare in the desert...alcohol therefor not!All in all he is friendly but sadly sometimes being too sarcastic and he is acting quick when someone of his friends or the guild is in danger, not minding the things which may lay ahead!

Magic: Molding Magic, Ice. She has the ability to create a variety of objects out of ice to be used offensively or defensively. Outside of combat, the user can also change his surroundings using ice, such as covering the ground with ice. She uses a variety of stationary (inanimate) objects, and moving objects such as animals, yet she can not used the complete collection of both. Often times she uses a combination of both, creating things like "Ice Make: Bear shield".

Magic Level: A

History: Born from a line of Ice Fishing merchants, Sasha was set to become a merchant herself, until when she was 8, her parents, brother and her fell into the water. She managed to get out, but her family died. Left alone, she was forgotten, and just struggled to survive. It soon became clear to her that she could do things others could not, and she soon figured out, and learned, magic after she was found by an old, white haired man. The man knew magic, similar to what she could do, and she learned from him,hiding her ability outside of him.

When he passed away, she went traveling, coming to Fiore, where she came across the guild, joining in an attempt to finding a place to belong.

Personality: Sasha is kind and caring She is loyal, determined, strong and brave. She will do anything for those she cares about. She can easily laugh and smile, and is desperate to make friends and fit in.

Blaze Crimson(Fire Magic)
-Natsume's fire magic is unusual, it is colored neon red, she uses it in a stealthy way by infusing the palm of her hands which later becomes hot for assassin duties. When in full force, she would send off condensed and concentrated fireball attacks from her palm and destructive barrage of flames, she is also capable of creating inanimate and creative appearances of flames much of like a Phoenix and a Dragon. Burning is her main method of killing, neon flames are just about two times hotter than normal flames. It's weakness still applies, water, wind and by any means it can be countered and it's mana consumption rate is doubled compare to normal fire magic, risky but practical.

Magic Level: A

History:
Born into a prestigious family of assassins, Natsume had it tough on her childhood, undergoing countless trials of murder and torture since she was 10 but the results are what made her the person she is today. An abnormal fact is that, she's not even guilty for the people she killed in the past, that's why she is merciless in battle. Natsume's fire magic is something inspired from her torture of hot objects from her family, not that she is a masochist, she would often train by torturing herself with hot objects and the latter fighting fire itself. After eight years of torture, Natsume is relieved from her duties of an Assassin by her own will, she ran away from home and eventually joined Phoenix Wing.

Personality:
Natsume is full of enthusiasm, ever ready when the going gets tough, she always look for something to do that keeps her occupied and refrain from getting bored. She values her independence as well as acknowledge people who values their freedom, Natsume is level headed, she would do anything to stay calm and cheer up herself or those who need encouragement. However she is also timid and lazy when it comes to something disturbing but when she needs to fight, she's up for it but this is for better or worse, she doesn't hesitate to kill regardless of age and gender, that is her dark side.

1. The cold, she can't stand super cold temperature even if it is cold drinks or food to a certain extent, she is sensitive.
2. Lack of empathy to the sinful. Be it a foe or a friend, her inability to let someone live can be called a strength but it doesn't change the fact that it is injustice and it would terrify the people around her thus isolating her.
3. She's bad at cooking, she burns it up too easily.

Caster Magic: Circle of Scorn

The Circle of Scorn allows its user to create a spherical space or "room", where the user has complete control over the placement and orientation of everything inside. He uses his ability in combination with his sword which is vital for his offensive and defensive repertoire regarding his opponents as he can freely dismember them without causing any harm for that is the only taboo that he dares not break since any actual pain that he causes will be inflicted three fold upon him.

Inside the sphere, he can manipulate anything such as the terrain or gravity in what he describes as a "surgical" manner. Through this ability, Prince can also lift or displace objects of any size, attach separated body parts in any manner he sees fit (such as sticking someone's head to a barrel) and even switch peoples' "hearts", which is shown to effectively switch minds. After switching people's minds or messing with someone's body parts, only Prince himself can reverse it, but the recipient(s) must be present in order for him to restore them. People separated by this ability are not killed nor harmed and can still feel their separated parts, regardless of the distance.

I'm thinking this is too overpowered and classifies as at least S class, so I'm going to reject your application. I'll get to Masaki's character later, as I am short on time at the moment.

Im afraid I must say no, all dragon, god, and devil, slayer magic and the like has been sealed so that it cannot be used anymore. However, lightning magic can still be used in other forms.

Good bio Gravislayer, your in (unless the Midget has something to say). And just so you know, Phoenix Wing is not the only guild in Fiore nor is it the biggest, even so, guilds are still sort of frowned upon and not talked about all that often.

Okay, so I agree with the Midget about Circle of Scorn being far too powerful but I also have some other issues, Partially because we should have made it clear in the OP. But anyways, in the 100 years that were for the most part without magic, one of the main focuses of governmental research was into anti-magic stuff. As such the army has become very powerful when it comes to dealing with mages so a small mage gang does not seem likely. Also, No love or Motivation? really? How does prince get himself up in the morning and why would he do anything at all once he has gotten up? Since he has amnesia, his motivation could be to find his memories, or perhaps he just wants lots of money so he can make a castle under water. And there has to be something he really loves doing, eating, drinking, perhaps he has a girlfriend in town, or maybe again he loves money, and wants as much as he can get of it.

Just for reference, Laxus was a dragon Slayer (granted a fake one) and so he drew from the same source of power as all dragon slayers. However, he also knew normal lightning magic so a lot of his spells that didnt require punching or kicking or roaring are feasible. So, if you want to use lightning magic, perhaps it could be something like:
1. They can use electrical shocks straight to their own muscles to increase reaction time, strength, and speed, as well as be able to deal small shocks to any opponents they hit, slowing down their reactions.
2. Zeus's lightning spears
3. Lightning molding magic could be interesting.
4. sith style force lightning
5. The ability to call down lightning from the sky.
6. a combination of any of the above
7. anything else.

Magic: lightning magic. I can super charge my body to hurt people that attack me and making me twice as fast, I can also shoot lightning bolts as fast as real lightning

History: I lived doing absolutely nothing, I did magic in a small town to entertain people although not many people liked magic to begin with I did small shows for kids that didn't believe their parents and get chump change from time to time but I never stayed in one place to long. I tried going to different places that had some people that appreciated my magical abilities but sadly their were none to be found so I just kept trying even if it got me nowhere but most of the time I just sat on a floor and held out my hands for a hand out from kind people I never had a good job but when I learned about phoenix guild that I joined them 3 years back or even a good family for that matter, I left home when I was 10 wanting to make it on my own, after 2 years of being on my own I was lonely and I didn't have any friends and I barley had any food to feed myself half the time but a crow was nearby looking just as hungry as me although I was hungry I didn't want to let an innocent animal die either, so I gave him a few pieces of my bread and he took it happily and I smiled at him and after that me and my crow mark I distracted shop owners and mark would grab some bread so we could eat together although I miss my mom terribly I couldn't stay with my abusive father and I told him I would make something out of myself but so far nothing good has happened. but when I saw the guild of the phoenix wing I wanted to join them to prove myself.
Personality: I do everything I can to do the work right and I usually laugh in the most tense of situations I can smile most of the time but im usually quiet....unless im drinking

A level is actually rather far from S level but I do agree, and The midget and I may go through a little later and rank each magic ourselves. For one, I feel like Sidious Viper's magic is actually probably B level. Also I want to clarify to everyone (and Ill get this on the OP a little later) that magic level, is not necessarily how powerful your magic is. for example, A person with the most powerful magic could not know how to use it and so have a C rank, or a person with the magic that is considered the most simple and weak could perhaps have a really different way of using it that raises them to A rank. So everyone who reads this, please reevaluate your rank if it needs it.

So, I like the premise of Angelo but I have a few comments.
Age: later in the CS you said you left when you were 10 and joined Phoenix Wing. Im afraid phoenix wing is only five years old at most.
History: Magic in a small town would not get you any money, People are still very suspicious of magic in all forms, if anything they might run you out of town. Also, 10 years old is really young to strike out on your own but it is possible, just be reasonable about it.
team members: bird mark? if you are referring to the guild symbol then no it does not count.
Strengths & Weaknesses: be more specific with the strong/weak to elements of magic. In Fiore, magic comes in so many different forms that water or earth magic can mean hundreds of things.
