Sorry. Out of the blue I checked this after being off the website for a (long) while. This was my last roleplay still going and after a while I just stopped checking. Sorry. Are you still interested in this?

Lol. I agree. Alright, let's do this!

I tried to go back and figure out the logic behind landing at a Federation base. The only thing I could think of is that the crew needs some supplies that didn't come with the ship and that the patrol's from Syrae are momentarily keeping an eye on the ship (thus why we couldn't go to an illegal black market base right away).

I like the idea of Ellie hacking something than vice versa. Gunther could meet up with some old colleagues at a bar. Perhaps like Lazlo he was part of the Federation or maybe he's a retired mercenary from one of the planets not under Federation control. I'm not sure what our good doctor should be up to since he was spotted trying to steal things on his way out the door. Was he merely trying to jump ship? Was he hoping to set up a small clinic on the base? Was he hoping to sell the supplies to pay off a debt?

As for Ryen, I'll try to think up a situation surrounding her past. Either way, I'm going to start on my post today.

Sounds good to me. Where there specific NPCs you wanted to control during this off ship experience or should we both handle them? I think I'm going to have Ryen interact with Quincy a little.

Alright. I posted in the IC before reading this. Let me know if I need to go back and edit my post. My idea was to get Ryen to a safer place, have Quincy brief her (in his veiled way) about avoiding unnecessary attention and then send him on his way to do his doctor thing. What Ryen will want to do is rather mundane. Since she left without packing much she'll need to go shopping for personal items as well as mechanical gear. After that she'll want to look into the news about her father's death, see what has happened to her bank account/credit card, and gather what information she can about her father without drawing attention.

I'm going to start working on some background facts that crew members would easily find if they go looking into Ryen's past. Would Ryen find anything on Lazlo if she went looking or would his 'file' be completely empty?

Cool. I'm still working on the background information. I'm having to go back and comb through all of our threads to make sure things I said a year ago are still consistent. I'm also trying to come up with information about Ryen's father and mother, just in case.

The time skip sounds good to me. I was going to put the background in the "character" section of the RP. It helps me keep my facts straight especially when life crops up and the RP dramatically slows down. I can put them in a hider.

Alright. I'll see if I can find a profile picture for her. It took me a while to find one for both Ryen and Ryen's father. Her mother won't have one. For reasons unknown to me, whenever I think of Quincy, I see someone who looks close to Urahara from Bleach and Gunter I picture Barret from FF7.

If I remember correctly, we are still in the process of building up a crew. I suspect our next destination should be a planet closer to the center of the Federation for whatever reason.

Looking back at out PMs and the previous posts in the OOC, I don't think we came up with a goal after escaping Syrae and reaching the Federation Stronghold. Ultimately, what is the purpose of the crew we're a part of? Are we explorers? Thieves? Do we carry black market 'goods'? The latter seems almost likely given both Ellie and Quincy's background.

Alright. I like the third picture for Seita as well. If Lazlo is her guardian, does that mean that she has his last name? Should I time skip until just before we board the ship? I'm thinking of having Ryen have another run in with her badies.

Heads up. In middle to late January I'll be moving across the country with my husband and baby. I'll do what I can but it make take a little bit to set up the internet connection in our new place.
