Yeah so my fat cat has been sitting on the couch all day. She normally jumps at the sound of me mixing her food but today she wasn't into it. I picked her up off the couch and placed her onto the ground where she proceeded to shakily stand for a few seconds before collapsing onto the carpet. I've put her food bowl and water in front of her but I am concerned due to the fact that the last time my cat acted like this, he freakin' died.

:/ Out of concern for your cat, I'd like to tell you that a vet is probably a more appropriate person to ask than an internet forum.

I need to find a new vet, because the one I go to is definitely mentally handicapped.

I was just wondering if Spam had any other fellow cat-owners who have seen this type of behavior before, it would help to see other people's viewpoints before I waste my time with Dr.Idiot.

Fair enough.

Sorry to say, then, that I've never seen that from a cat.

Extra info: She's a Sealpoint Ragdoll, an indoor cat, and was outside all last night. The last one is probably the cause but I don't know how being outside overnight could cause something like this.

If it's only been a day don't worry. Maybe she ate rabbit shit or something while outside and is temporarily sick

If she's off her food and water, she needs to see a vet as soon as possible. Dehydration is a real concern. If you don't like your current vet, I would go to either an Emergency Vet because of the weekend and get a diagnosis or if possible wait until Monday and just pick another vet, ask around on your local city reddit or call friends who have pets and see who they use. I wouldn't wait too long though.

Then use your resources and get to a good vet immediately.

Even if we did know what was going on, you would be directed to a vet in almost every circumstance anyway.
