No, no. The Arakath are pretty much an extinct species by this point. They number about 12-20 at present. Though because this RP is based in a universe which I created for another RP back in the days of the old guild, there is quite a bit of fluff concerning them, their culture and ideologies and motives. I will tell you now that they aren't evil for the sake of being evil; in fact, evil is entirely subjective. They might not be the evil ones...

Mmmmm. That would be entertaining to see, but I wouldn't advise engaging one in close combat. Or just.. you know, in general unless they were already severely weakened. taking one out will require creative tactics - it's absolutely essential. As a finisher, i'd love to see it, but if that sort of attack was attempted while the Arakath was at full fighting strength, i'd expect Sirius, despite his size, to probably have every limb liberated from his body before he hit the ground.

Still though, that's totally gonna be your player achievement now you mentioned it

Awesome! The sheet is looking sexy.

And at th moment, i'm still in the process of looking for a picture that properly captures them, but imagine what would happen if you mixed a Predator, a Space Marine and every single 'eldritch' race in sci-fi. They're large humanoids (about 8ft) donning strange armour; flitting in and out of the physical realm with such blinding speed that they appear only as an outline of ethereal smoke at times. They are ferocious, and get in your face so fast that most characters won't have time to react before getting sliced in half. Hence creative tactics.
But yeah, i'll update you when I find a suitable image.

Alrighty, pals! Some things to mention!

Big big reforms to the OP. Looks nicer now; targets have been updated and reorganised, everything in general is organised better now. Also note that i'm integrating 'intermission' periods into the game. Check up on the 'Out of Combat' section in the OP for details.

Also worth mentioning that I am going to be going away for a fortnight: i'll be gone from the 29th of July to the 11th August. Regrettable, yes, but i've had this holiday planned sine the dawn of time. I doubt i'll have regular access (if any) to the internet, so i'm going to plan as if I am completely unable to get online. (Plan for the worst, right?) I will need to discuss with you guys what you wish to do about this, as I did hope we'd be up and running before now and we'd have had time to get a mission in. Would you rather wait until I return to start, or can we fit a quickie in? Want to be left to roam? Need some feedback.
