Z2010Deadmeat said Kaden nodded. "Fair logic...lets just hope if someone is taking up residence in the ruins." He said as the pair began their walk through the snow.

"Oh no, I highly doubt that will be true. That would rely on us having any sort of luck." She laughed, the sound seeming small compared to the vast barren land surrounding them. It wasn't hard to find their way, the palace - if one could still call it that - jutted out against the skyline, and thankfully it didn't take long to reach. It was open and empty, the sentinels posts long abandoned.

"I think we might need a little magic." She murmured, turning her gaze to the throne. It seemed giant, but that was only fitting considering who was meant to be occupy it. Taking a couple of steps back, she ran towards it and jumped, pulling herself up and onto the stone. Standing up she looked up, straight to the sky. "You might want to look away." She warned, before sending up magic which flashed and crackled brightly in the sky as she too shielded her eyes. It only lasted a couple of seconds and after that the world fell silent again. She stood still for a moment before looking down to Kaden. "And now.. we wait."

Kaden sighed sitting down against the throne. "And now we wait cousin." the demigod said his gaze wondering around the room they were occupying. "You know...its not a bad place....a few renovations....a couple of banners....maybe a few statues of the proud members of the local wildlife....make a nice place to rule the kingdom." he chuckled. "What do you think?" he asked

Kat jumped down from the throne to land beside him, and looked at him in bemusement. "I am wondering where this sudden interest in interior design has come from... as well as the odds of us surviving long enough to explain why we're here." She said, sliding her back down the stone to sit along side him.

Kaden shrugged his shoulders. "Well gotta do something to pass the time while we await for what may either be our last hope or doom." he said chuckling slightly as he fixed his hood with one hand. "Either that or we could go back to the popular debate we usually have." He said referring to how Kat's father looked like a particularly famous British actor who has a large number of fan girls. "Unless you have an idea what we could do besides discuss how to approach our situation?" he said

"Just because that's how he looks now that doesn't mean- no, we're not doing that again." When he asked if she had any ideas she gave a big smile and took a sickly sweet tone. "If only I had brought my list! I was thinking we could bake cakes, then braid each others hair, oh and even adopt a puppy!" She said, before dropping the act entirely. "No, surprisingly this confrontation is dominating my thoughts somewhat."

"Somewhat?" Kaden asked somewhat shocked that they were about to face a group had every reason to kill both of them on sight due to the history between Asgard and Jottenheim. "Regardless Kat what is your plan? I doubt giving yourself up to them will be enough to sway them to join our side even for just one battle." He said listening to the ice break and echo around them while the cold wind continued to howl outside. "They are going to want much more for compensation and I mean a lot to make up for both the war and the Bifrost incident. Than the daughter of Loki and the Son of Thor" He added.

"I'm not giving myself to them, or you for that matter. As you say it would get us nothing." She paused for a moment, looking up into the dark above, then turned to look to Kaden. "I'll give them what the only thing I have, words, but no lies this time. I'll tell them the truth: they can stay in this old world and die along side it, or they can fight and do so much more than just survive." Her tone then lightened as she smirked and said, "and if that doesn't work we run... fast."
