[OOC] Naruto: Birth of a Better Generation

I think I'm going to shuffle a few teams around given the current issues. If anybody specifically wants to go to Team Moon, let me know so I can fill that gap up first (Team Moon has gotten a lot done and it would be wasteful to think about splitting them up, but other teams seem to be less concrete).

Additionally, if you could all post your timezones so I can keep a list, I'll try to rematch people in as cohesive a fashion as possible. I want to cause minimum fuss with the shuffle and get as many teams updated as possible.

as you have stated, we are in no need of jounin now (simply using them as npc's?)
BUT I do think you act like a bitch when saying you think we are not capable enough, cuz i think most people think we are.

I've been RPing for a long time, and I've gotten a good idea of the capacity of people to fulfil specific roles over that time.

I'm not saying that you're unskilled by any means, and I sincerely apologise if anything has come across like that. You're both moderately competent roleplayers given your current settings, and you've fit in well to your team. You are, by all accounts, doing well.

I just don't think that you two are the kind of Jounin material that my standards and the standards of this thread mandate you be. I was just vocal about it early on so you don't get your hopes up that should a position arise, you'll be immediately considered/accepted, and I apologise if that came across poorly.

Relax, this was dealt with last night. Rather or not you were right, a simple no would have been just fine. Now please let it go.

I'm all for having a constructive debate over the issue, but if you don't feel that we're capable of that, we can just end this now. I'm more of a proponent for letting opinions be known as long as they aren't inherently offensive for the sake of being offensive - if you're not, I apologise.

Moderation Notice

I have completed a preliminary roster for the shuffle around of the teams, and with it a new ethos for what the team system actually means. The team system here is going to be extremely fluid, meaning that you are free to go train with whomever you want, and your pre-set teams are only for basic compatibility and to keep everything bureaucratically sound. If two teams want to train together, that's fine, they can absolutely do that. If you want to go tag along and hop on Kirugetsu's... Uh... Train like everyone else, you're free to do so with his consent. If you want to just stay within your own team, that's obviously fine too. I'll be talking with Durn and Innue to get some plot ideas flowing within the next few days, so we can progress nicely after introductions are finally over and done with. :D

I feel like these changes will make no In Character sense.
Like at all. It's way too drastic. I see how it makes organizational sense, but it is way too conflicting with everything that has already transpired.

Essentially, it would make all our previous posts pointless.
Should have just added on Ouroboros to a previously existing team and left the remainder with an opening and utilized an NPC for Kreig's character's leave.

Need some cemented consistency. These drastic adjustment to in character decided team is messing with the flow of the Rp a great deal. This is what? Like the 4th time? Especially to the point of completely reforming established teams. There's no point changing the ENTIRE roster each and every time someone leaves. Just leave empty spots, else you cause imbalances.

Also, I'm pretty sure Prince did not want Taiho on Moon, nor did he want Shira and Shio on the same team either. Was his preferences for some master plan he had or something or other.

Moderation Update

I'm now shifting team placement to Durn, since Tuuj seems to not understand a few ideals:

- Team Moon is fine. Does not need touched. Mirth is on standby and will be 'frozen' IC via plot, so it will be a team of two.
- Chuunin only get one genin, on three teams.
- Those on standby stay that way until a slower posting Division is made.
- Team Sun is fine if it proves active.

Freeze Team Sun until we find a new Jounin. Just bump the Interest Check, I'm sure we'll get something. Also, create Division B and use it for slow-posting people, so that we don't have to discriminate.

No one needs to just revamp the structure. If anything, start Division B for slow posters and allow one more Jounin, but don't revamp the entire team structure. Your first act as GM is not meant to just revamp all of the working structure, so ignore the former moderation update. Durn, be strict on Tuuj if need be.

Note: I'm growing excessively tired of this being called a hostile environment. I know where the problems lie, who causes most of these issues, and why. It will cease. We will be civil, we will behave and this is aimed at everyone. Everyone. End of story.
