"I don't know... I just want her to not leave..." he said, unsure. He never actually knew why this happened, only that it happened when they were separated.

"Have the two of you shared every experince?" Vlad asked curiously.

"What do you mean?" he asked quietly, slightly confused.

"Have you experience anything that Chloe hasn't?" Vlad clarified.

He thought for a moment. They'd been together lots of their lives, so they experienced mostly everything together. "She's never been to Paris, or lots of the other places I was placed in when we were separated." He said after a moment. During their separation, they both went to many different places that the other didn't and never had gone to.

"During those times about did anything good happen?" Vlad asked. "Or only bad things?"

"Bad things. Our powers changed during the first few days of adoption at different homes, and we hurt people..." He says, remembering himself in his anger.

"Did you get angry at the same time? Or one then the other?" Vlad asked curiously.

"I think... around the same time. Then we hurt people while trying to get back to eachother..."

"Move towards me until you feel angry." Vlad told him.

Carter nervously but obediently got up from the chair and began slowly walking towards Vlad. Not much gap penned at first, but as he headed Vlad, emotions and feelings began coming to him. By the time he got to Vlad, his pulse was racing and he was feeling intense emotions of hatred, and knew Chloe felt the same. He felt thoughts aping the lines of, 'Why should I listen to Vlad?! He's only human, getting rid of gum and getting back to Chloe would be easy!', but he resisted any urges. His pulse was going crazy and small veins in his arms and foreheads were showing a little, and he was obviously very angry. "I don't feel very good..." He said, a bit looser than his usual and filled with small bits of anger.

"Not as far as I would like. You can go back." Vlad told him. "When did you first feel the anger?"

Carter sighed if relief and went back to the chair, his emotions got back under control and he no longer had urges or was angry. "A few days after me and Chloe were separated..." He said.

"I meant just now. How many steps before you felt your emotions change?"

"Not much..." He said, thinking. "Maybe five." He said, it was somewhere around there.

"That will do for now." Vlad told him. "Go have breakfast."

Carter nodded and got up, walking out of the room and greeting Chloe. They walked to the lunchroom and got their food.
