Did anybody ever watch Clue? It's my single favourite film ever.

I've seen Clue! I love the Butler-guy so much! (Though pardon me for not knowing the actor's name, yes I know I'm horrid.)
His energy through the entire movie is absolutely amazing. And the entire cast too. It's a pretty great movie. I was going on a mystery-thriller spree once. I saw others like Exam, Cube, Fermat's Room, Nine Dead, Identity, Phone Booth, Clue, among other things. There were a lot more titles on that list but I don't seem to remember them. It's when I fell in love with the mystery genre.

I've not seen most of them, apart from Phone Booth. Is that the one where the guy is, well, in a phone booth for the whole film with a guy threatening to kill him?

And... Yup, the one where he can't exactly leave the phone booth for any reason and it's pretty damn interesting, haha. I've got a huge soft-spot for one-room movies, especially. Hence this RP. They're all going to be in one mansion, right? Essentially "one room", and I presume not much leaving will be done since most characters have no experience with Sweden otherwise.

I'm guessing there will be a certain amount of grounds-exploring, as the letters specifically suggest preparation for outdoors-iness, but who knows? Bliss seems to be keeping things under her hat - naturally, the best place for them.

Count me in, I love mysteries. What needs to be done? Do we need to post a cs/ intro post right away?

Also, would it be appropriate to pack a little bit of heat? I myself am a paranoid person and own fire arms, could my character perhaps carry a small pistol? Nothing too drastic, who the heck packs an AK to a vacation.

@Jig: Not to worry; if it does, I'll be sure to make it easy for you to catch up.

@Notorious: Shoot me a PM with post recounting your character's reactions to the contents of the briefcase and what they proceeded to do, etc. Deadline for submissions is tomorrow! And hm, the only problem I'd have with that is that I don't think firearms would be allowed in the airport and all that. So I'm gonna have to say no, but I will definitely keep it in mind in game if you are accepted into the cast.

Quiet thought: if the manor has grounds, it may well have game and a game keeper. Fire-arms (possibly not pistols) would surely be kicking around.

Just popping in to tell all you thread lurkers and those who have yet to send me a PM that today is the final day for submissions! I'll be choosing the cast list sometime this evening.

Why why why why why did I discover this just now? Must get typing! *writes furiously* Oh and also Clue is like the best movie ever and I love it and I've watched it so many times I think I have it memorized. Every single member of that cast is awesome, especially Tim Curry and Madeline Kahn.

I hope I have enough built up creative-ness to live up to advanced; I've floated between Casual and Advanced in the past but these days all I see in Advanced is really really long posts that I couldn't possibly write in one day. Even if there isn't room for me, I'll probably be reading.

About how many characters are you accepting out of the ten or so that have applied? It's football try outs all over again, but with ermmm writing.

Since there's only one of me running around behind the scenes, I'll probably only be taking on five characters for the game.

Thank goodness I'm done writing that. I hate time pressure, it's so stressful. I'm already thinking of how I can tweak my character, since I wrote him in a hurry. Right now he's basically me only more vocal about his weirdness and a man. I had to give him my exact job because it was easiest to write in a pinch.

(now I wanna watch Clue for the millionth time; damn it.)
