Megumi said "James, don't." The eyes chuckled and said "it seems this one has fire in his heart. Maybe times have changed a few things..." Megumi said "that's enough!" The whole chamber shook and shadow chakra gathered around megumi as she said "you both forget your guests in my mind here...so I will have none of this talk from either of you. James, you have respect and trust, but I will not allow to talk to my partner like this...same goes for you, Silver Wolf...you may be a god but in here I'm in charge"

James looked at Megumi. "Sorry about that. I'm usually not so quick to get angry..." He then looked at her partner. "Heh...a god? This is a first for me. I mean, I've met a few of the tailed beasts, but I haven't met any gods before." He chuckled. "I guess I should introduce myself properly. I am James Hunter, also known as the Okami Sennin(Wolf Sage)."

The eyes narrowed for a moment, then moved and a huge silver wolf walked out from the darkness, his eyes bright gold. He had five tails and black markings all over his furred body. He sat down before them, tilting his head slightly. "A wolf sage...that is a new one. I must also beg pardon, most sages I had run ins with were of the dark art sorts...not many sages were of the nature sort. I am the Wolf of the Silver moon...guardian of moonlight and its creatures. And guard hound of the dead" Megumi sighed and the chakra relaxed, fading as she said "I'm glad that's over with...James why are you here?"

James looked at Megumi. "Well, I came in here to try and see if I could at least convince your partner to have a little more trust in me. Even though what she said was absolutely true, that other sages have corrupted the sacred art of senjutsu, and don't bother with nature. It's actually the reason why many summons have banned humans from summoning them without proving they're worthy. Nice mindscape by the way, It's much better than the minds of other people who I've seen."

Megumi looked around and said "Thank you...to be honest I don't know where it came from...I've never been to a place like this..." Wolf laid down and said "You would be surprised what our minds can do...but you two should get going. It will be morning soon and I sense you companion is in trouble. I smell blood"

Bane yelled as he hit the cave wall, hitting the ground as three ninja stood a few yards away. Bane got up slowly, his side bleeding badly. He cursed, looked back to the entrance of the cave. "James...MEgumi...hurry up..." He sighed and stood up straight, then made a hand sign. "Ninja art, Eye of the Beholder Jitsu!" His eyes glowed bright green again he saw the ninja's skill sets and chakra levels. He sighed then muttered "Can't have one day off..." He ran forward, making hand signs. "Shadow Clone Jistu!" A mob of Banes appeared and started attacking the three Ninja, fighting to buy James more time.

((o.o bane must have a lot of chakra to make a bunch of Shadow Clones. It exhausts people who have high-jounin level chakra reserve to make only 4 or 5. The only reason Naruto could make a few thousand was because he has chakra levels possibly even greater than Kisame's thanks to him being an Uzumaki))

James, as soon as he left Megumi's mindscape, did a quick substitution with one of Bane's clones as he could sense them with the residual nature chakra that was left over. He grinned at the bandits, but unlike his usual confident grin during a fight, this one seemed kind of sadistic as he quickly went through the hand signs for a certain genjutsu, targeting two of the enemy ninja. "Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique." He then smirked at the last guy as the first two started to see their worst fears, before walking towards him as he unfolded a Fuuma(windmill) Shuriken.

Bane was panting, his eyes still glowing as he looked over and saw Megumi running out of the cave. "About....time...I had to...borrow energy from...nature...James...where the heck...are you..." He swayed, coughing. Then he saw him and he muttered "Dang it James...you always make me look bad..."

James's grin simply widened, and using his free hand to do a one-handed hand sign, and a clone appeared beside him before he did a few more hand seals and his fuuma shuriken burst into flames before he threw it, and his clone quickly did a wind jutsu to basically turn the shuriken into a flaming windmill of death heading towards the poor defenseless ninja. James then turned around and looked at Bane. "Meh...I've always had more raw power and stamina than you. Even though you are better on the skill and control part because of my freakishly huge chakra reserves..."

Bane frowned at him then held his bleeding wound and said "Your a little cocky sometimes you know that?" Megumi went to the pair and said "We have to go, now. Those ninja were part of the team that attacked my village, we are close now"

James chuckled at Bane's comment. "At least I'm not being all dark and broody like a Uchiha," he said, before looking at Megumi. "Alrighty. Lets get our stuff and we'll be on our way."

Bane muttered as Megumi tossed James his bag and she held hers and Banes. Bane started to speak but she said "YOu can barely move as it is. Just go"

James chuckled and just put his bag in a storage seal he had tattooed onto his arm, then, just because he wanted to get to the village faster, and to piss off Bane, he picked Bane up and carried him over his shoulder in a fireman's carry. "Alright. Let's get going so I can put Princess Grumpy here down."

Bane started yelling at him as they left, Megumi trying not the laugh. After a few hours Megumi went a head of the pair and landed in a clearing next to a huge waterfall. She looked up at the sky and said "Almost perfect timing...it should open in a few minutes"

James nodded, then unceremoniously just dropped Bane on the ground like a sack of potatoes before walking up beside her. "Your village is hidden well. I can't sense a thing, and I still have a slight amount of residual nature chakra left over."

MEgumi nodded and said "The gateway was made many years ago...no one can find it. Apart from those of us who call it home..." Bane sat up, glaring at James. "You know...I should have let those guys beat you up a little..."

James grinned. "I would have just covered my foot with lightning then kicked the first one in the crotch who got too close too me. You know my sensor abilities are top notch."

Megumi frowned and said "You two keep this up I will leave you two out here. You two are friends so act like it. I can wipe you both out if that will get you guys to shut up" She was trying to focus and them fighting was making it a lot harder. Finding the gateway was no easy task.

James crossed his arms and pouted. "Aww...we were just messing around..." He sat down and stayed quiet after that though, knowing that she was concentrating on finding the gateway. He sent 4 clones off to meditate and gather nature energy, since he didn't really have the time to do it himself, and because he figured if something bad happened he'd need something to fall back on.

Bane said "Sorry Megumi..." She closed her eyes and took a few breathes then started humming softly under her breath, her hands moving in front of her, sensing the energies around her. She started singing softly, her hands starting to fill with her charka. Then the whole grove filled with light as the moon appeared right above them, the night lighting up around them. Bane's jaw dropped as Megumi's chakra floated around them, the energies mixing with each other.

James just watched while she did her work, smiling at what the chakra felt like through his sensing abilities. He closed his eyes while he got a better feel for the mixing chakra, so he could better tell what she was doing with it.
