I originally came into this expecting a very different game in many respects, and overall I can't say I'm bound to stick around. I expected a very different tone, harder sci-fi/geopoliticking. And now, with the loss of participants, I'm more than a little discouraged in regards to investing time and energy into further IC posts.

So, that's my two cents. I'm not quite quitting, but I'm going to be extremely selfish and not be the man to keep the game going.

But your flag! The popular perception of your country's morality is more important than it's actual morality, in truth. You look evil to the layman, your speculated political system and iron curtain-esque interaction with the outside world only serve to reinforce that image. You're inviting IC statesmen and activists to demonize your country.

Someone dressing up in a Nazi uniform could be the nicest guy on earth, but you'll certainly have some preconceived notions regarding him and his fashion sense.

Duuude. Chill. It's banter, not an assault. C'mon now, son. If I was to further this argument, in any case, I'd note that my offhand banterous quibblings had nothing to do with proving by fact and everything to do with the perceptions of the world populace and likely impetus by some to prove or 'prove' said perceptions for political purposes. But that'd be silly, because an argument about this point started because of a perceived attack in banter is silly. Plus, Cap'n already pointed out the important bits.
