Appearance:
He is 6'1'' and doesn't have much muscle. He has light skin and hair he dyes green when he finds dye from before the apocalypse, but its brown naturally. He wears a blue bandana and has an earing in his right ear, the color purple. He normally wears a tanish coat, with a black collared shirt underneath. He wears dark blue jeans that are inbetween baggy and tight. He wears light shoes that help him run faster than boots or big shoes or anything of that sort.

Nomadic or sedentary:
Nomadic

Weapons:
Keeps a hunting knife in his pocket for special situations. Carries two katana swords, sometimes has them sheathed. Also has two Desert Eagles and an Assault Rifle, incase
melee is impossible.

Skills:
Very fast, and can run for long. Very skilled with melee weapons. Agile and good at free-running parkour. Across most terrains, including buildings, mountains, etc.

Any unusual traits? Does it show physically?:
Special eyes that can see movement from much farther away, and can very detailedly see things from afar.

Brief Personality:
Not very smart, doesn't speak much, and knows when to run instead of fight.

Background:
Born in Tokyo, he had a normal mother and father. They didn't have much money, but his mother and father made enough money to scrape by. He lived a normal life until he was six years old, then the war started. His parents, along with all the friends he made from school and the neighborhood died very soon after WW3 started. He was left alone, sad and weak. He spent his time just walking through the apocalyptic wasteland, picking up skills on how to run away by parkour and how to use speed to his advantage.

After 10 years, he began mutating. He could feel his eyesight get better and more detailed, and he felt weird movements in an area a bit under each of his arms. Ten more years passed, and his eyesight was now incredible. While fighting off a giant mutated bee, he suddenly felt a large pain the the sam area he felt movements in. It suprised him, and the bee almost killed him, but he managed to run away in time. The pain soothed rather quickly, and he looked down and finally saw what had happened. A new pair of arms had burst out of the side of him, but he couldn't feel them or move them, they were limp and useless for now. He fell asleep later, and when he woke up, he discovered the arms weren't numb anymore, and he had full control over them. He used these newfound arms to his advantage, helping him both escape and fight. He continued exploring, and continues traveling to nowhere. He's raided multiple gun stores, abandoned military storage units, and a dojo before, all of which is where he found his weapons and supplies.

Lifestyle= Nomad
Weapons= He has a bow and quiver(10) he uses to hunt small creatures and a steel blade(kind of like a short sword) that is getting a little rusty he uses if things get a little dicey. Finally he has a gun he has no idea what type(Glock 37 Pistol I do :D) but it has 5 bullets and is pretty damn old
Skills= Survivor(knows what is edible can start a fire from just wood and kindling). Thanks to his tail he is a natural climber. Treebark has special eyes that allow him to see a little further than a normal human, but he can only see in black, white and red. While he cannot read or write he has managed to make his own symbols to mark places he has been before. While Treebark can run decently, It is his ability to quickly dodge and change direction that has saved his life more times than he can count (which is only up to seven)
Traits= Eyes are like the eyes of a fly . He has sharp teeth kind of like shark’s teeth and green scales that cover his back and tail.
Appearance= His shaggy black hair comes down just below his ears. He is a short man only reaching 5ft, 5 inches tall. He is strangely incapable of growing any sort of facial hair. His body is covered in hundreds of scars most from when he got too cocky and didn’t listen to Larry’s advice, the worst one being an acid burn that covers his entire torso. The burn was bad but it was the fever that nearly killed him. His clothes are made from a mixture of leaves and leather that he had to make himself. He doesn't bother wearing shoes as his feet have grown accustomed to the hard ground. His green tail will often be seen swishing behind him
Personality= He is a disturbed individual who knows nothing of right and wrong. People are just a different type of animal to him. His only friend is his tail who he calls Larry and he will openly admit that Larry is the brains of the two. Due to his sight he has become obsessed with blood and likes to collect red things. Larry is pretty smart which has allowed him to make the symbols. Nowadays the only time Treebark will do something without confirming with Larry is fighting when he doesn’t have time.
Background= Treebark has always been untrusting, in fact he has never trusted anyone except for Larry. While it may seem lonely to others Treebark is more than content, grateful in fact because if he had his parents would have succeed in killing him last year.
*His dad named him after the first thing he saw

Imo, that's kinda a weak explanation. Also, I think having both preceptor mutations and additional limbs sort of imbalance.

P.S.: Honestly, I don't see any draw-backs to Jinsoku-sama. I suggest including some here and there to make the character a little more 3 Dimensional.

P.S.S.: By saying large Katana, do you mean something like this or this? Cause if it's the latter, it doesn't suit the realism this RP is aiming for.....

Don't worry about it Rookery, let the GM do their thing. Besides, it isn't like this is an anime. Anyone that's a decent shot could take him out, just like any other character. He can't take out bullets with his swords or anything, and pistols are really only effective at close range anyways.

Ah okay :) If you don't mind some pointers, I can give you some neat reference. The theme we hope to attain for Dehumanize goes along the lines of The Book of Eli (Action), The Last of Us (Mutation and Action) and I Am Legend (Lifestyle). We could include the The Road but it's a little too depressing, but it does catch the weather described by Penguin. There is also Fallout 3 to consider though a little sci-fi when it comes to the armor despite that great scenery. We can't forget Wasteland 2, the concept art are pretty amazing. There's Resident Evil 3: Extinction as well, just change the zombies into mutant wasps, I bet that'll crap everybodies pants worst than dead things.

There is many more really, but the first 3 titles (+- The Road) are pretty much the direction Dehumanize is driving towards.
