Generally, people smell bad because they do not wash themselves. On a ship, the only way to wash one's self is with salty, briny water, unless one wishes to use a great deal of drinkable water. Orcs are larger than humans, from what I can tell, so they would logically produce more sweat and would thusly smell worse, not counting how they would smell different from humans as a result of being a different species. So it doesn't matter how clean Grommak keeps himself. So long as he doesn't use flowers and unicorn piss to perfume himself, he stinks. The same is the case for pretty much everyone, except the elf, who has more important hygenic matters to attend to all day(with his flowers and unicorn piss, undoubtedly).

What he said xD You sir made my day....Flowers and unicorn piss...Genius xD *Shakes your hand*

"but as he noted how both Zimnis and Grommak bumped into someone he stopped to search for another person to do the same, ready to collide with them the moment he found someone suitable. Successful or not, he wondered what was the point of this behaviour but dismissed it as just another oddity of this place..."

At this point I didn't want to straight out write he had hit someone, leaving it for rolls/gm discretion in which independent of the result he would think that. The way it is seems weird ICly, in my opinion.

*shakes Nyan's hand* Why thank you! *wipes the unicorn piss off with my shirt*

Also, I was wondering about that, Lore. That bit seemed to imply that Hai pickpocketted some random person from what I could tell, but it was definitely vague enough for interpretation.

A few quick things i'd like to ask.

1. Any reactions from the people on the docks?

2.Considering our different races and things is there any difference to how much one needs to eat, sleep and other such things, sickness desease and stuff. For example do elves in this world need to sleep less than other races? Or are everyone more or less equal. (People might still think that elves dont need to sleep, eat or something but yeah.) And like does our undead friend even need to consume food, drink or even sleep at all for that matter?

No reactions on the docks, it is late and everyone is either busy or just wanting to go home from a day of work.

Everyone eats and sleeps pretty much the same, maybe the Orc will eat more or the elf sleep a little less. But for simplicities sake you all are pretty much the same.
The magic that is keeping the corpse alive is powered by energy from eating, drinking and sleeping.

Really? To me it seemed straightforward as he attempted to act similarly to the other two, but I will try to keep it in mind for future reference.

I wonder the same things as Nyan, especially the second part.

Edit: ninja'ed

How recently were our PCs fed? Did we get dinner on the boat before reaching the dock, or did we spot land right after lunch?

You have had lunch and a light snack. You could survive happily till morning. But you aren't well fed or anything.

Well you might try to act normal without letting your tells show that you have trouble moving your body. But that might require a roll of some sort and my character did manage a perception to specifically tell if something was wrong. You will probably pass for an old man or something if no one is looking straight at you and is paying attention.

What? I was referring to his behavior being mistaken to him pickpocketing an stranger. My character doesn't even know what normal is even if it hit him like a truck full of clowns while some soothing jazz song plays on the background.

BTW as per agreements you all now have until next sunday to post IC stuff.
If we can get them in earlier I will continue to do it faster, but you will always have at least a week if you can not get them in before then.

I could post today, but I want to wait for Lore in case Hai wants to ask Zim that question about his precious rocks. :3

Nyan, about your post. Is Lin a tavern connoisseur? I doubt he has been to many, if any taverns since leaving his bastion of snobbery, so the term "adequate standard" seems out of place. Mostly just the "standard" part. Kinda gnat-picking, but it counts.

He was comparing it to his own standard of living at home. Not with other taverns or inns.

I planned on waiting to see Zim' s state before I posted, but to help organize it I can start writing the post when I got the time.I assume it's safe to say from his last proclamation that if not intoxicated he is readying himself to it around the bar area?

Nyan, the term "standard" can mean either "something established by authority, custom, or general consent as a model" or "a level of quality, achievement, etc., that is considered acceptable or desirable." In the way you phrased it, it is easy to assume that you meant the prior, when you actually meant the latter. Had you simply put "compared to his home," or something similar, boom. Crisis averted.

Lore, may I ask you to clarify what you wrote? "Zim's state" and "readying himself to it around the bar" were especially confusing to me.

And, if Sola allows it, I was thinking about having Zim perform a puppet show in the tavern to get a free ale. Does ale restore mana? Also, does conjuring two puppets and controlling them remotely cost mana?

I wrote that rather quickly so it’s kind of understandable how weird it sounded. Essentially what I meant was a question if the gnome was near the general area of the bar and if he already had drunk an alcoholic beverage or more than one by the time Haiaen arrived there based on his last IC phrase, or at least already established that he was going to with the bartender.

Anyway, now that you commented on doing the puppet show I suppose the question was answered.
