Delilah laughed breathlessly, "Maybe you would have, I'm not allowed to before exams though. They're supposed to be a reflection of the student on how they naturally are." She giggled against as she started to catch her breath, "On my practices I ended up stabbing my observer and then healing them. What class are you in though?"

"I'm in class B," said Meruin. "I could've gotten a higher score on my practicals, but my health . . . well, I'm sure you get the picture."

[Rinion]

The dim lighting made it easy for Rinion to walk straight into the "pit-fall" trap, it caught him off guard and he fell straight through the rotten wooden boards into the black abyss below, " Run!!" he shouted as he fell deeper then vanished.
Apart from Rin vanishing there was one other strange event.
The noise of Rinions fall had invited several hungry visitors, and with only the exit to choose nobody was to blame.

Lilac walked silently into the office, where she had to give the man at the front desk her registration packet. In return, he gave her a small wrist gauntlet that said where she was supposed to go to class, and where she slept. He didn't say much about her being a late arrival, but she figured he was a little annoyed. She was annoyed too, she didn't want to come here, her parents did. They were so obsessed with this school, because apparently it would teach her how to control herself and become a better elemental. It was also one of the top schools in their weird magazines. She left her own head and looked down at the man that sat behind his desk, she decided to thank him, and swiftly walked out of the room, it was late so she decided to head straight to her dorm. Looking at her gauntlet, she started to saunter over.

As Lilac wandered through the halls, heading for the girls part of the dormitory, she came to the realization that she was probably going to have a roommate. She hoped that was the case, actually, she prayed it wasn't the case. She needed a lot of space for her vines, and her plants, and of course her pets. The thought of having a roommate annoyed her, but if she had to have one, she supposed she would struggle through it.

It didn't take her long to reach the dormitory, and after that she was kind of excited; her steps were a bit faster, her lips pulled up in the beginning of a smile. Maybe this place wouldn't be as bad as she thought it would be? She didn't want to get her hopes up and then be disappointed, but She couldn't help herself. It was too new, and strange.

When she got to her room, she was kind of excited, it was large, probably meant for more then one person. She saw only a few signs of life, on one bed there was a robe and a few supplies that were given to her. She didn't use anything special with her magic, but she assumed she would need some of the things on the bed. She walked over to it silently and slipped on the robe. It felt natural, and she was surprised to say the least. She sat on her bed, alone for now, and started out of the window. She wondered what her new life would be like, and if it would be as adventurous as she thought it would.

Slick's laptop began to beep... "So someone in the building is new." With that Slick climbed into the vent in the ceiling, trailing wires with him and went under Lilac's room, through the vents and set up the wires.

Lilac could hear something in the vents near her room, she assumed it was a rat, but she couldn't sense the animal's spirit. She went through the list of animal's that could fit in there, and came up with nothing, so She decided to check the vents. It was sad to say she wasn't surprised by what she found. "Uh...sir, what are you doing under that vent? Are you okay?" She laid down on the floor,and watched him through the small vent that gave her fresh, cool air.

"Yeah, just setting up something, nothing much. I've just bugged every room in the building, trying to find something. My name's Slick by the way, I see you're a new comer."

Lilac didn't want to comment on that, but she figured she had to be polite. "Uhh, okay. And..yep, I'm a new comer. Do you want to come in? I bet it's a bit uncomfortable...down there." She wondered how he got into there in the first place, but decided not to ask. "I mean, I can hardly see your face."

"Yes, thank you. I'm done anyways, I only got shocked three times." Slick shuffled out and stood up from the vent, straightening his shocked hair.

"Oh, are you okay...? My name's Lilac, who are you?" Lilac helped him out, and put the vent back into it's original place. She studied the boy, he was cute, but no one she would date. She offered him a hand in greeting and let her long hair cover part of her face, feeling skiddish.

"My name is actually Slick and nice to meet you Lilac, I'm no one you should concern about, just a regular guy in class D." Slick shook her hand. "I need to be off, if I'm honest, there's a dorm against dorm battle tomorrow that I need to practice for, should I expect to see you in the final round?"

Lilac bit her lip, chewing on it gently, and looked up at him with a small smile. "I'm also class D, and about the battle...I guess you will. I look forward to seeing you there." Her voice was quiet, but her grip on his hand was strong. She moved away from him and opened the door. It was a polite suggestion for him to leave, and she hoped he got the message.

Slick left, raising his hand as he walked away. He went into to his room for a minute to grab his sheathe and walked out of the dorms and the school completely.

Lilac closed the door behind him, and walked silently to her bed. She laid down on it and tried to get some sleep, tomorrow was probably going to be tiring.

An instructor poked his head into the room an said, "Hey, I'm just letting you know you're on duty tomorrow too. The first years are having their first war and the nurse's mother is sick so she's going back to the mainland so we need you to be the onsite nurse incase someone gets hurt."

Delilah smiled and gave him a mock-salute, "Can do sir." The instructor smiled and nodded, leaving the room. Delilah turned back to Meruin, "So do you need help finding your room?"

"Yes; they're to determine our rank, correct?" said Meruin. "How is that relevant?"

Tyler finally made his way to the dorms and his room. He opened the door and smiled. They even brought all his spell books. "Let's see here, where oh where are you?" He chanted as he looked through all his books. "Ah hah!" He exclaimed as he grabbed what he was looking for. "Advanced Elemental Magic Vol. 4. Where was I?" He asked himself as he lay down on his bed and began reading and practicing. 'There's a lot of people in this school, meaning making it to the top is going to be a long and testing journey. I'm going to need as much firepower as possible to make it to Class A.' He thought as he finished the 17th chapter and fell asleep.

Slick followed the map on Rinion's note. "Rin! You still invhere buddy! We've gotta get back!" That's when he heard the animals. "Rin? Buddy?"

For a while, all was quiet as Zaria followed the others until suddenly Rin was falling and Sol was being cornered by monsters. She looked between them, not knowing who she should save. Then she saw Slick run in. "Slick! Save Rin! He fell. I'll help Sol." She said, standing on the shelf.
