Not a warband, actually...

I was thinking of full-scale invasion of 500,000 over the Everwinter Mountains, by order of the Nisceni Emperor.

And we're supposed to resist that?

We'd need to either be utterly OP by that point or very well hidden

A surgeon and an alchemist would be conscripted, while a nobleman and his household would be expected to go to war. War is a dark time, and all those left in the city would have hard times.
Either way, real conflict would take a year to really happen
A war of 500,000 in medieval times? That is massive though

Children would be left.
Depending on gender politics women probably wouldn't be conscripted in standard medieval times. However in most generic fantasy settings the worlds tend to be far more gender neutral.

Since Rosty is a smal country, I'd say Niscenis have... 200,000 while Rosty has 120,000. Nisceni is a relatively new yet flourishing empire, so I expect troop training and numbers to be tip top.

Actually, the invasion would be blitzkrieg-style and Fayport would be overrun overnight. As the Nisceni advance further inland, the remaining cities in Forest Mither would form a resistance movement.

Estermere is a strategically important location because of the Astronomer's Guild and a massive supply of magic rock surrounding Estermere Berion has aptly named Berionite.

Blitzkrieg in medieval times? Especially with such large numbers? Perhaps they have some sort of magical assistance...

Regardless, an army of 200,000 would be very slow, since they mostly move on foot. It also couldn't really be supported, they didn't have effective enough logistics back in those times. An army of 50,000 would be massive in those times

Or maybe my brain has kafuzzled... Citation needed

Hmm... the Sarethians would have had a bloody army of 800,000 if they wanted to.

Narion the Empy has taken over two-three countries... let's say he has 60,000.

Rosty is small so let's say 10,000.

I quite like the idea of a war, but think about numbers please. 800,000 is far too much. it would be more reasonable for a large nation to be able to muster 50,000 max

Also think about what the excuse is going to be, and what the real reason is.

By the way, I'm having a wee bit of trouble comparing Rostguard to a country of about the same size on Earth.
