[IC] Crystal Gem Academy (Steven Universe RP)

It's the first day of a new year at CGA. New students are either finding their way around or looking for their dorms. Any Half Gem dorm is what their parents left them and will be difficult to remake. A regular or old crystal gem student is getting ready for classes or showing new students around or just wasting time.

Diamond was in the training hall, practicing charge attacks at dummies that her teacher, Pearl, was projecting. Her movements were flawlessly executed despite her attire. If someone was watching at just the right angle they would see the one thing she considered a flaw. Her gem on her eye. It was also her one blind spot. Despite being left handed, she struggled to fight with her right to compensate for her blind spot.

While everyone else was preparing for heir classes or trying to find their way around the massive grounds of the campus, Clayton was currently laying underneath the shade of a statue of an old Crystal Gem. The Statue was still on the grounds but far enough away that it often went unnoticed making one of the four best places to take a nap, h on campus or in his case- cloud watch. He had been shown all four of these places by his teacher Amethyst who was even more lazier than he was. "She's probably sleeping in one of the other spots right this very second." He chuckled to himself at his stared up into the sky.

[Leda]

It was her first day at CGA. Spinel had never been anywhere outside of the town where she grew up so it was her first time seeing anything like this and she had to admit the school was bigger than she imagined. She watched as the crystal gems hurried to their classes and decided to hurry and find her dorm room. Apparently any half gem's dorm was what their parents left them "Great" she thought to herself wondering what dump her mother might have left her, but at least she had something and whatever state it was in she could always fix it up later. Even if she didn't get a chance to meet her mother the girl stayed on the positive side and hoped for the best. She just hoped she would be able to fit in here.

Chrysocolla sat in her dorm. She was holding what was a Human toy robot. It was one of those VEX Bugs. She was good with anything technology, and the origional robot bug was basically just able to walk forward and turn in a direction if anything infront of it triggered it's sensors. She had programmed it to be like an actual pet, it could follow her, make noises, sleep, and other pet stuff. Basically, a pet that did not leave excrement and didn't need to eat. It was her type of pet, because she wasn't good around other CG's and HG's, only good around robots and technology.

She got up and decided to actually go meet some of the others. She wasn't very social, but she wasn't shy, she just didn't like to interact with other creatures that weren't robotic. She headed to the training room where a HG was traning with Pearl, one of their CG tutors. She easily noticed her blind spot when a dummy appeared a bit in her blind spot, and she took a moment or two longer to notice. Another one appeared in her blind spot and Chrysocolla summoned her sword, running and slicing into the dummy that was in the blind spot. She turned to Diamond and/or Pearl and desummoned her sword. "Chrysocolla. New Half-CG." she introduced herself.

[Leda]

Spinel finally broke down and decided to ask for directions near an old statue. She had walked in circles for what seemed like hours and got nowhere. She found someone lying near the statue who seemed to be watching the clouds. The girl figured he wasn't doing much if he had time to sit and watch clouds. "Excuse me, I'm trying to find the dorms, could you help me?" She asked.

Diamond was hit in the back and stumbled a bit, she whirled around to strike and almost hit a girl. A new student by the looks of it. Lowering her weapon she took the time to fix her hair. "Obviously new." Diamond mumbled, catching her breath. "I'm Diamond. Half Gem. I've been here a while." Her lance disappeared into a fine mist. "Are you lost or something?"

"No." she said. "Just wanting to meet the students and teachers." she explained. "And yes, I'm new."

Diamond nodded, looking the girl over. She jabbed a thumb back at the pale woman on stage. "Well that's my ment-"

"Oh my! New students! How exciting! It's so nice to meet yooou!" Pearl jumped off the stage and shook her hand. "You're one of my students. I can just tell. I can see it in your eyes. So intelligent" The mentor released the girl's hand. "Oh but where are my manners. My name is Pearl. And you are?"

The icy girl just rolled her eyes, obviously annoyed that her training had stopped, she wandered to the stage and sat down as she inspected her nails.

Clayton yawned and turned his gaze to the girl without getting up from his spot. "I guess." He jumped to his feet and stretched his limbs before yawning again. "You must be new. Just follow me and I'll get you there."

[Leda]

"Um, thanks I am, My name's Spinel by the way" The girl said as she introduced herself. At least she had met one person here who seemed friendly, even if she hadn't really talked to anyone yet.

Chrysocolla was surprised that her new mentor, Pearl as she was named, was suddenly infront of her and shacking her hand. "Chrysocolla." she introduced herself. "And, uh... nice to meet you, too. Do you know where the other teachers are?" she asked.

Pearl tilted her head in though. "Well Garnet is usually here but maybe the weight room. As for Amethyst....well" The pale gem sighed. "One can only wonder where she went off to. So do you need help with anything? Any questions? I'm happy to help."

Clayton yawned again finally starting to fully wake up. "Nice to meet ya, I'm Clayton. Onyx if you wan to go by gems." He kept walking until they neared the dorms. "Dorms are right up there." He pointed to the building in front of them.

[Leda]

"Oh nice to meet you Clayton, I just go by Spinel" The girl said as she followed him. They seemed to have reached the wherever they were going as the man had stopped and pointed it out. The girl looked onward at the dorms and wondered if those were for half gems and crystal gems or just them. "Well...Thanks" she said as she started walking towards the dorms. The girl wondered if she would at least have a roommate or if she would be alone, if she had one she would at least be able to get along with them as well.

"I'll stop by there sometime soon..." she said to herself quietly. "And thanks, but I'm alright." she said. "But, uh, I'd like to show you something." she said a little nervously. She took her pet bug-robot out of her pocket and it wriggled around on her hand. It looked up at Pearl in a questioning motion. "It's, my, uh... pet." she didn't really like showing her robotic creations to other people, but she decided to, this time.

Pearl leaned in close, inspecting it. "Well now, isn't that interesting. I'm afraid I'm not to well rounded when it comes to Earth devices. Or pets. However, so long as it is clean and doesn't cause problems, you can have it in your room and outdoors on campus."

"Thank you." she said before putting it in her pocket, and it stuck it's head out. "I guess I'll see you both sometime soon?" she asked, making her way out of the room and heading towards where the weight room was, and seeing Garnet benpressing quite a lot of weight. She walked over to her. "Uh, hi. I'm Chrysocolla. New Half-CG student." she introduced herself.

Pearl waved good bye before returning her attention to the impatient student and they resumed their training.

Garnet stopped mid-press and look at the girl. "Hello." She said before dropping her weight off to the side, letting it crash and crack the ground. Garnet never was one for talking. For her, actions spoke louder than words.

As Garnet crushed the ground a ltitle, Chrysocolla's bug jittered in her pocket. She ignored that. "Are you Garnet? One of my mentors?" she asked.

"Indeed, I am." Garnet said, standing. She was a towering and imposing figure, standing taller than most other normal gems, excluding hybrid gems. "Do you need something?"
