Lazuli walked into the entrance of the school and instantly headed for the battle training room. Seeing Diamond and Pearl (Pokémon :P), he decided to introduce himself, "Hello, my name is Lazuli, I'm a new Full CG, and I was wondering where one could get a good fight in."

Just as Pearl and Diamond's training was getting into full swing another student walked in. As usual, Pear was the first to introduce herself to the new face. "Oh hello there! I'm Pearl. It is so nice to meet you Lazuli!" Pearl excitedly shook the boys hand. Diamond groaned. "Hm? Fighting? Well, I prefer not to call it that especially if it's amongst peers. I like the word training better. However if you truly want to fight something, with the intent on harming or killing, I suppose I could open up the portal."

[Kronshi]

"Oh, I don't plan on killing anyone,... yet, but I meant more along the lines of a spar," He says as he summons his dual-swords, "even if I need to go against a teacher for a decent spar."

[Drakeonis]

Clayton nodded. "See ya around Spinel."Well that went nowhere. What was he supposed to do now> He was awake now so sleeping was out of the question and cloud watching had lost his allure. He was itching for a fight after being idle so long. He's see if he could get Pearl to open a portal or something.

"Oh before I forget if you could just do me one more favor and show me to the instructors" the girl asked. Spinel hated asking others for help, but she still didn't know her way around the school "I...If you're not doing anything that is" she said hesitantly.

"No, I'm just wanting to meet the teachers." Chrysocolla said to Garnet. She was slightly intimidated by Garnet's large figure, but she ignored the fact that she stood quite abit above her and that she could lift quite a lot of weight and crack the floor by dropping it, and continued on. "Do you know where Amethyst is?" she asked. She didn't think there was much to talk to Garnet about. She didn't seem like a very talkative person.

Pearl laughed wearily. "Well alright then." She thought it over, Diamond didn't seem too interested in anyone, not to mention, Pearl knew just how frustrated the girl got when it cam to fighting or sparring so it was rare for her to want to fight other people. "Well then I suppose I could spare a few minutes to spar." Said the instructor.

"Eating." Garnet said bluntly. "If she's not sleeping, she's eating."" Garnet knelt down and retrieved her weight. "Check the cafeteria. It's just across the hall."

"Thank, Garnet. I'll, uh, see you sometime." she said as she stepped out of the Gym and down the hall. She walked along and found the cafeteria, opening the door and stepping in. She saw Amethyst sitting at a table and eating. She walked over to her. "Uh, hi. Are you Amethyst...?" she asked.

"Now things are getting interesting," Lazuli says as he gets in a battle stance, "let's see what you've got."

"Thank, Garnet. I'll, uh, see you sometime." she said as she stepped out of the Gym and down the hall. She walked along and found the cafeteria, opening the door and stepping in. She saw Amethyst sitting at a table and eating. She walked over to her. "Uh, hi. Are you Amethyst...?" she asked.

Amethyst was laying on top of one of the tables, donut in hand. "Yo, wassup kid?"

"Now things are getting interesting," Lazuli says as he gets in a battle stance, "let's see what you've got."

Pearl nodded and produced her spear. "After you."

[Kronshi]

Lazuli charges at her, blades at the ready, and makes a fake slice for her torso. Noticing her take the bait and blocking, he flips over her before the strike connects and brings both swords to her neck, "If this was a real fight, you would be dead, but now it's your move, give me your best."

Pearl disappeared, or rather, an image of her did, showing the real thing only a few feet away, giving the boy a pleasant smile. She charged, striking one blade with her spear and kicking the wrist that held the other.

Spinel walked into the training room hoping to find her instructors there only to walk into what looked like a sparring match between a man and what looked like one of her instructors. She watched as the battle continued

"Eh, I, uh, just wanted to meet some of my teachers." she sat down at a table. "Garnets not really talkative." her bugs wriggles in her pocket and finally comes out, scurrying across the table and then sitting on Amethyst's hair, and curling up and falling asleep.

Amethyst snorted in a laugh. "Yeeeaaah, tell me about it." She sat up, finishing off a donut and held out the box, offering one. "Want one?" She asked as the small mech bug crawled in her hair. "Woooaaah wazzat?"

"Yes, thanks." she said as she accepted a donut and took a bite. She slightly chuckled at her bug crawling around. "It's my pet robot." she explained. "He likes to move around alot."

(Don't mean to control, just wanted to make things a bit interesting, and based on the fact that Pearl would never assume someone new to fake an attack, I thought it made sense, I mean she never trusted Steven to do anything right, so why would she expect more from this kid)

A smirk danced across Lazuli's face as the person he thought he had tricked faded away, he then felt his weapons disarmed from him, "Oh, nice one," he said before charging straight at Pearl, no weapon in hand.

(Yeah but Steven is a 10 year old and a half gem, that's normal. You're a full gem with an obvious thing for fighting.)

Pearl pulled back her spear, twirling it and taking a ballet like leap and hitting the boy in the back with staff end as she was charged. . All the while Diamond sighed, wondering if she'd ever get back to her lessons.

Just as he planned, the charge attack forced her to make an attack or get trampled, when he was about to be hit by the staff, he summoned his bubble shield, trapping the spear with half on the outside and half on the inside.

Pearl made her spear disappear in a flurry of light before giving herself considerable distance and summoning it again. She held it at the ready.
