Max had only just started eating, and wasn't planning on squandering her time out of the lab. Trying to ignore Ryoko's slightly off-putting eating habits, she speared a carrot with her fork and set about finishing her meal. As she ate, she wondered what class would be like. She'd honestly thought she was done with school. Then again, Max had thought about a lot of things that hadn't ended up happening; this was a chance for a fresh start. After all, it was this, or jail for god knows how long. She knew which one she preferred.

Roxy shook her head at Ryoko's eating habits. She was a predictor but she would never eat like that. She dug into the state that she had been given. She might have another but she would never eat the way he was. She hadn't even seen animals eat the way he was. When she was finished with the food the silently moved towards the door. Vlad glanced at her but she ignored him. She wasn't in the mood to deal with her. She let one of the guards guide her to the classroom.

Ryoko followed the guards to where the classroom was and took a seat. He likced his fingers and layed back in his seat. Human instincts were coming back, and he was full. He mumbled something about goddamn lions and just turned his attentions back to Vlad. He was a weird man, whom he thought had fun experimenting. Would he be the teacher? He did not know, but he didn;t think Vlad was suited to be one. Too insane.

With a sigh Roxy took her seat. She hate this part. She stared blankly at the computer in front of her. She knew her education wasn't as good as everyone else's. Vlad often told her how much smarter the others were. She was grateful that they weren't in a real classroom wear they would have to interact. She didn't want the others to know just how far behind she was.

Lee had taken a seat long before any of the other students got to the room. This was the first time he was going to talk to anyone else besides Vlad since the incident with his father happened. "Well might as well try and make some friends, Lee mumbled to himself. Lee walked over to the girl with the black hair and brown jacket (Roxy) and sat next to her, " It's nice to meet you, my name is Lee, what's yours", Lee asked politely.

Roxy glares at the boy who sat next to her. She had little to no interest in making friends. She still she was curious what kind of animal the others got. Curiousity had always been her downfall. Even before Vlad mixed her blood with that of a panther. "What are you Lee?" She asked rudely ignoring his question about her name. Names weren't useful. She need something she could use. Knowing his animal could be useful.

Roxy growled lo in her throat. Vlad was adore subject for her. Both literally and figuratively. She crossed her arms angrily. She knew it wasn't Lees fault but she snspped at him anyway. "Vlad is a creep. I don't know how he got approval for this experiment, but I'm sure it's more shady then it is legitimate."

"I don't do it you for a second, do you plan on proving your suspicions though"? Lee asked calmly, he could not blame her for hating Vlad, even though Lee wanted this, his eye sight, what he went through to get it, was not worth the trouble.

"No ones going to take the word of a criminal." She told him simply. Vlad had pounded that I to her head. No one was gong to belive any of them. He had government approval. Sure he went beyond the approved limits but there was no proof of that. Atleast none that she knew of. "Besides the only person we ever see is the creepy mad scientist."

"Well we do have each other, I guess". Might as well live out the time we have here, before stuff become really serious of fun, I'm looking forward to becoming a special soldier". Lee said happily.

"Your a little crazy aren't you?" Roxy asked him tilting her head. "Why on ERth would you want to become a soldier for the creepy mad scientist?" She asked him. She couldn't see anything good about following orders of a man who wasnt quite sane. In fact she didnt see the point if following anyone's orders but that was besides the point.

Max arrived at the room a little late after finishing her meal. Toward the back she saw the two she'd met briefly earlier; Lee and Roxy, sitting in front of computers, deep in some conversation. Well, she already knew their names, surely they wouldn't mind her joining them?

Nervously, she walked over, and took the seat on the other side of Roxy. "Hi guys." As she sat, she realised with a jolt that Ryoko was also in the room, though he was concentrating on Vlad, and so still that she'd only just noticed him.

"Anything is better then following the creepy mad scientist." Roxy told him bluntly. She turned her attention to the girl that just entered the room. "Who are you and what type of animal did creepestine give you." She demanded rudely. She needed to find someone who was actually good for something. Someone who could do something.

"Lion." he said as he typed on the computer. He heard that Roxy was asking around what animals everybody got and he got lion, so he said so.

"Nice," Max smiled. Lion? That was pretty cool. "I'm a fox; I like being able to go fast. And they're pretty small too, can get places we normally can't. What about you guys?" Now that the topic was clearly open for discussion, she was eager to satiate her curiosity.

Roxy looked at Ryoko. Lion? Damn Vlad. She knew what he had been thinking. She crossed her arms. They were going to end up paired together. She turned her attention to the other female in the room. A fox was definitely an animal she could use. "I'm a panther."
