HeySeuss - for magic, since the power is coming out of the warrens, a simple hand wave or gesture might help a Mage open up the invisible portal to the other realm.

If you want chants or what not for your character go ahead with it though! Whatever suits him best, let's just say that mages in Mirhandia have many different techniques of channeling the warrens.

Sorry, mistaken post in the Ic, whoops. What are the mechanics of casting a spell here? Any somatic motions or verbal component? Or is it all concentration?

for cynric i have a rule of him needing to gather static energy before he can use his magic, either by standing still and having a stronger purer blast tthat takes time to charge or by moving and having a weaker but quicker charge
