[IC] The Hunter and The Lycan

Aura ripped a couple of the vampires heads off turning them to dust. She looked at Drake as he started taking and went silent just staring at him with her eyes narrowed. Like I haven`t that before idiot. She said and rolled her eyes before running up some of the debris and jumping through the hole in the ceiling. She ran along the roof before jumping off and running far enough to where the fire wouldn`t effect her.

Drake took a breath, before he started to run not at normal human speed though. This is one of the times he was glad he was half vamp. He got to the main plaza, he ran once again finding the kitchen. He grabbed the propane tank he kinda knew would be in the he took off the safety nozzle before setting his lighter next to it he turned it on. He ran like hell after that, the explosion lifting him off the ground he tucke himself and Rilke landing on his feet he watched te building go up in flames just as te hunters were regrouping around him.

Aura watched the building her lycans behind her. Her father had been wrong, this was one of the reasons some of the pack decided to follow her here. She knew what to expect from a battle and make it so everyone got out alive, even if she didn`t know her enemy. Once she got back home more of them would no doubt see this. Looking over at the hunters her and the rest stayed in wolf form. One of the biggest rules of her pack, don`t show your human form to anyone but the pack unless instructed otherwise. This is one thing that made her eyes go to Jake. She might have to kill him now for going to the pack`s camp.

Drake patted Jake on the back, "thank you my friend for getting help at the very least." He saw one of the wolves eyes go to jake, he got in front of his fellow hunter and friend. He didn't move out of the way either from the wolfs gaze, he would protect any of the hunters with his life no matte what the cost was even his life. His father had given his life for a hunter, and so would he.

Aura got lower to the ground and prowled closer slowly growling. The lycans behind her doing the same. He`d seen them in human form therefor he`d have to die. It was one of their most sacred rules. The rules were very strict. The only none pack member that could see you in human form is your mate. Anyone else outside the pack must be killed for seeing you in such a vulnerable state. With Jake having seen them his life was now at risk unknowing to all of the hunters. This rule was old and out dated but so was her pack. They lived and died by the old rules of the lycans.

The other hunters saw what was going on, Drake didnt back down from where he was. He reached into the back waist sheaths, bringing ou his two sabers, his eyes locking with Aura's he didn't flinch or back down when he saw the killing intent their the rest of the hunters got around Jake bringing out their swords. They would guard him with their life, even though they weren't related by blood they always thought of each other as brothers.

Be that way, I'll kill you all. Aura's voice said going through Drake's head as if she wasn't trying to do so. Once she was a couple feet away the other wolves surrounded the group so all of them were trapped. They all started moving closer in on them obviously having done this more than once. Give up now damn it. her voice once again said in his head.

Drake shook his head, getting into his fighting stance. The other hunters didn't move from, around Jake tey would rather die than let one of them be killed willingly. His jaw clenched, he heard growls and hiss's from the other hunters, he flashed his fangs as a warning to back off. He had fangs yes, but he didn't have to use them he only used them to give warnings and all of that. "Over mah dead body," his southern drawl was their just like his fathers.

Aura and the other wolves pounced forward at them Aura looking like she was going at him before jumping to the right lunging at him from a new angle. She had been in many fights over the years and she was very knowledgeable compared to this young dhampir.

Drake saw it at the last second, his body reacting on instinct he dropped the sabers. No need to harm them, he grabbed the wolf by the front and threw her to the ground. Drake just looked pissed now, though he knew not to let the anger get the best of him. He used it to his advantage whenever he was fighting. "Now you just got mah pissed off."

Aura rolled on to her paws before jumping at him once again. She went for his leg clamping her jaws on to his left leg. She kept her jaws clamped tight on to his leg not letting go of his leg.

Drake clenched his jaw, he took a deep breath. Before he used his other leg to kick the wolf off of him. She had taken a good chunck of flesh out of his leg, but the healing had kicked in fast their was nothing but teeth marks left their and dried up blood. He grabbed the metal rod he always kept it was retractable he made it go to full length. Waiting for the next attack, he got into the same stance as his father had taught him.

Aura fell on to the ground and quickly got up. She watched as he pulled a long metal rod from his picky and stays her distance. All these new tools hunters had worried her. It was making it harder to win a fight against them. Prowling in closer she jumped at him grabbing on to the metal rod with her jaws only to learn it was made of silver. She growled through her pain not letting go. One of the other wolves yelled victory and she looked around seeing the dhumpir's friend dead one of the other lycans having killed him. The only thing bad about this is right after the call went off as she looked around, she was the only one left. The others having reverted back to human form after death. Her eyes widened as she jumped away from Drake.

Drake looked behind him, Jake was dead. He threw the rod down, "you better go you no good bastard before ah change mah mind." He kneeled down by his old friend, he spoke in the ancient hunters tongue his father had taught him. "Find peace you have fought and died well go Ino te afterlife with no regrets on your shoulders." He sighed to that, he closed jakes eyes. Before he found the old match box in his pocket. It was an old tradition, to light the body on fire. He lit te match and it caught fire on his friend. Few minutes passed when the flames died down. He waved to the other hunters, they followed him.

Aura stayed where she was looking her her pack guilt went over her. She'd gone to save that bastard of a dhumpir and all she got was dead lycans out of it. Not so much as anything. They'd pay for what they'd done to them. Even if the cost was her life. She growled and ran at them.

Drake heard the running toward him, he heard the jump. He turned around fast grabbing the wolfs muzzle and slamming her down to the ground. "I told you to leave we were called in by another pack to deal with some crazy wolves no description nothing so we thought it was you guys alright our own damn fault I gave you your chance to leave. Your lucky that I'm not going to kill you, touch any of my hunters at all what so ever and your gonna die I can't believe we used to trust and work with each other." With that he let go of her muzzle and started walking the rest of the hunters following him.

Aura got up her white pelt was stained in blood, more than just her own. You god damn bastard! You'll pay for what you'v done if it's the last thing I do! Aura yelled her wolf starting to take over her head. The wolf that was hard to control anyway. She wasn't doing anything to back down from this fight. No, she'd let Ash take over her body and she'd kill them. Her blue eyes intensified her pupils turning small as she howled up at the sky loudly.

Drake stopped in his tracks, "you guys keep going I don't need the rest of you killed for a mistake I've done if she kills me she kills me you know the Hunter rules." The hunters nodded, before running off. Drake turned to face her, he wasn't going to take his weapons out. If he was killed he was killed so what, he just stood their unarmed as he stared at her. "Don't care if I die the other hunters will leave the pack alone and also if you want to kill me go ahead don't care it was my mistake not theirs why take it out on them when I gave the order."

Aura prowled closer to him ready to kill him if anything. It was his fault this happened, she was glad he understood that. Although when she was about to pounce something unexpected happened, she fell over limp. A large gash on the under belly of her body most likely with the roof stunt she did earlier. Up till now she'd ignored it. It seemed to have proven too much for her body to handle. Her pupils slowly got bigger as she regained control.

Drake saw this, he sighed. No matter how much she wanted to kill him, he couldn't leave her to bleed out. He grabbed the first aid kit he kept in his back pocket. As gently as he could, rolled her over onto her side. Then he went to work on the wound, he shook his head keeping his hands steady. As he worked on the wound, "you know you were an idiot for ignoring the wound."
