I'll be the 10th Doctor and Rose Tyler.

You'll be the 9th Doctor and possibly Donna?

For now we're focusing on Rose and the 9th Doctor, before Jack pops up. So we could have them on their own adventure, maybe a light one to get over the drama with "Father's Day" or sometime after it but still before "The Empty Child". Maybe we want them to go to Woman Wept and do some camping on the frozen waves. Or maybe they go to someplace else and have a festival to attend to put on by the locals? Keep in mind, Rose hasn't yet visited an alien planet herself, unless you count what happened in the novels. After that's done, we wanted to bring the 10th Doctor in. I was thinking it might be easier and more interesting if this version didn't know Rose but had also regenerated after the War (as an alt native to the 9 we know and love) Doctor. He could met Donna the same way he had before (if you're still happy playing her) and then we could have our pairs possibly doing the same event and somehow collide.

Does that make sense?

I mean, if both pairs were in the episode 42 for example, at the same time maybe the two events simultaneously blend together from both dimensions? I also think it could be fun to pick our own favorite episodes and we could now tweak them to include both Doctors and their companions, since each new Doctor would handle things differently and with two Doctors, it's pretty safe to say they might attract Weeping Angels and Daleks, etc due to probably two TARDIS' and such.

This all makes sense and sounds great (sorry about the delay in replying). It would probably make sense if this was set some time after Fathers Day but also before the Empty Child/Doctor Dances stuff. And yeah, still more than happy to role Donna.

I like the idea of adapting favourite episodes; hadn't even thought of that in fact. Boom Town would be... Different with this ensemble for instance (not necessarily a favourite, but certainly adaptable). As for where Rose and Nine would be heading first, not sure. It would be interesting if it was something set in the far past but I'm not sure. If we're deviating as it is, I mean.

And good to hear, she'll be interesting. I've had a love/hate relationship with her so hopefully you don't make her too annoying. XD

We could always give Nine and Rose a light episode to take on like "School Reunion" or "The Unicorn and the Wasp" I do enjoy returning to episodes we've seen and being able to know how it goes, and thus tweak it for a longer plot or different interactions/reactions to things. If we could in the future do something with the four, I think "42" "Midnight" "Beast Below" "The Girl Who Waited" "New Earth" might be fun to do. Or maybe "New Earth" would suit the filler we need for Nine and Rose when we kick things off? And I know Midnight and Girl Who Waited might be tricky to adjust but I still think they could be just as emotional and thrilling if we tried something.

And I'm a sucker for Weeping Angels, so maybe the two parter without Song might be doable too...

Ooh, I was going to say New Earth actually. Strong contender in my head anyway. 42 and Midnight also good ideas. Another story I'd like to see if we couldn't adapt would be The Planet of the Ood (though, would probably need heavy work done to explain it). And yeah, love me some Weeping Angels.

So if we wanted to take Nine and Rose to New New York and follow the similar plot, you'd be fine? If so, I could probably get us a post up tonight or tomorrow.

About how much did we wanna typically post? And if you ever have suggestions or issues with interest/ideas, let me know. I've had some really sucky experiences with people vanishing or not wanting to fix a problem if it arises. So if you are gonna be MIA or anything like that, let me know. I'd hate for you to be unhappy or bored and not tell me so we can at least try to fix it. So many people have made me a bit timid with DW lately...>__>

That sounds great to me.

In terms of post length, I tend to average out about four - six quality paragraphs. However, I will usually match the length of a partner, be that more or less. And yeah, while I may occasionally take my time checking this, I'm likely to reply to most things within the same day, if not within the week.

If I get tired or bored you will be the first to hear of it.

And okay, just as long as we're both happy but the premise alone holds plenty of promise and growth, hopefully we can have a nice long lasting story.
