The land of Astaoviel, a vast and beautiful land, home to a diverse variety of different races and filled with magic. Astaoviel is a very large and prosperous country that is full of great beauty and innovation. But before it became a kingdom is proud and wild, populated by warring tribes and factions Until the Blade War. The Blade War was started by a man who believed that their land could not truly proper unless its people were united. He gathered his men loyal to him and together with other like-minded groups waged war on all the other factions who believed in fighting for the superiority. The Blade Wars raged mercilessly for over two decades until finally at the Battle of SolGard, the Unification forces won a decisive battle that ended with the heads of all the major clans swearing fealty to him. The man united the clans and made himself their king and his bloodline became royal. From his most devout followers and even among his honorable defeated he made them the Lords of The Great Houses, rulers of segments of the kingdom to keep order and to help promote unity amongst the now united lands. Despite initial hostilities the new kingdom of Astaoviel grew prosperous and in time peaceful.

1000 years later, A rebellion, lead by some of the King's own very Great Houses, has formed against the ruling house, claiming that the new King has turned away from the ideals of the The beloved First, and now rules as a tyrant and must be pushed off of the throne.. The King immediately prepared his forces for battle along with his remaining loyal Houses. Astaoviel is once again torn apart by war.

-I'm cool with a lot of things regarded house themes and technology(If you can explain it.) but if you pull something like. "We invented the Machine gun!!" Your character will be killed.

Name: Gorbash the bone grinder (probably going to change that to stop innuendos)

Weapons/Gear: A short stick that's always with him but in battle for weapons he has
A large, curved yet wide sword with a heavy square pummel and crude upward guard with a cloth wrap over his two handed handle The whole blade made from a strange greenish grey metal found in far away places and is hard to find blacksmiths who can forge it. Also carries a buckler that progressively get's thicker towards the middle, made of oak wood covered in thick rawhide. It's connected to his costume gauntlets made from the same metal. The gauntlets cover his hands in a ball or baseball mitt shape and have leather gloves on the inside. The rest of the armor is thick scale mail with very large steel scales and a leather tunic under neath. His helm is crude and thick, looking closely to a Norseman helmet. (sorry if the description's bad)
Skills/Magic: A berserker rage and complete knack for fighting under all circumstances
Appearance:
Background: From a small peasant family with him being adopted he was in a normal life until his family as murdered by thieves and burnt his house down, leaving him to die in the ash, only to escape and be blamed for the flames and sent to jail after he beat on of the thieves badly, despite being no older than twelve. There he instantly started in the painful abuse of the others but always fought the others and the guards no matter what, eventually getting to rowdy to be able to go to the jail anymore, and being sentenced to banishment until the orcish killing bureau and starting as a warrior and becoming on of the best they had but declining any advancement in the ranks as he knows only how to fight.
Opinion on War: As long as it happens he is going to be fighting but he can live without, still he perfers a life with fighting/

House Commodity: Battle bread loyal army of devote warriors and connections to many smaller battle houses and special metals
Land of House: top or a large and rigid mountain, far away from the main castles but with small villages underneath. It was made here so that only hearty people can ever join or get to them so that they may only deal with those who are strong. They own A large share of the mountian but allow who ever dares to go on them do as they please.

House History: The house of Kardov has throughout history prided itself on craftsmanship - be it shipbuilding, armor and weaponsmithing - or as it was before the Kardovian dwarves began to breed with humans - mining. Kardov was originally a clan of very gifted dwarven smiths and miners, but over the past three or so centuries there is very little left of their dwarven ancestry. The men are a bit shorter and stronger by average than those of most other Houses, most growing quite large beards in honour of their ancestry.

Unlike most dwarves the Kardovians had a more tuned connection to magical arts - or arcana as they called it. It did not take them long to combine their arcana with their other crafts.

House Commodity: Massive complex of iron mines and their skill in magitek.
Land of House: The lands of House Kardov are situated on a quite remote area in the east which is lined by two mountain ranges - the God's Spine and the so called Iron Mountains - which have perhaps the largest concentrations of iron in the entire world under them. The Kardovians have only one city under their control, but it's surrounded by six villages - Pigsty, Arn's Folly, Cold Harbor, Blue Harbor, Eagle Field and Darok's Forge. Pigsty as it's name implies has housed several generations of pig farmers, Cold Harbor and Blue Harbor mostly deal in fish and other such foodstuffs of the sea. Darok's Forge used to be famous for it's namesake's forge some centuries ago.

House Base: The fortress city of Iron Mountain. Originally the place that took it's name from the range of mountains was just a mine, but over the years the miners began building more and more elaborate buildings to the tunnels and eventually it ended as simply too large a complex for just the House Kardov. People from all walks of life are welcome to Iron Mountain, but heavens help the poor fool who decides to try and cause any harm to those living within it.

Race: Kardovian (Human with dwarven ancestry of the Kardov line).
Weapons/Gear: Due to his age Azar prefers to move around on a specially made walker of sorts - a bit like powered armor of sorts, or a walking throne, a mix of the two to be exact. The quadrupedal contraption is a fine show of Kardov craftsmanship.
Skills/Magic: Azar is a very skilled magican and blacksmith. The Kardovian arcana doesn't rely on any kind of offensive spells and it's just used to power their metallic creations.
Appearance: Azar Kardov stands barely over 5 feet, his right arm has been replaced with a magitek one that can extend several tools from itself. Despite his advancing age Azar is still a quite handsome man - unlike most of his clan he keeps his beard trimmed to a neat goatee that was once black, though these days it is more gray or white. His short hair has turned mostly gray, but simply refuses to thin with age. His eyes are a very pale shade of blue and possess a very piercing stare.
Background: Azar became the Lord Engineer of House Kardov at the age of 22, back then he was a bit of a gloryhound and even a bit of a warmonger - after all if there would be a war going the Kardovians could easily sell their magitek warriors to the highest bidder. As he grew older Azar changed his stance on things - he made Iron Mountain a sort of a safe haven, a neutral zone of sorts where people could gather without fear of being prosecuted over their past misdeeds. Ofcourse if someone would dare to break the rules set up by the Kardovians the metallic guardians of Iron Mountain would make short work of any troublemakers.
Opinion on War: Wishes to remain neutral, but would be fully willing to take all monetary advantages from the situation.

House History: The First Sonrah, Degran Sonrah came to Astaoviel a decade before the war as an exile from his country. He and the small band he was with were instantly meet with hostility from a local tribe and were pushed into a place untouched even the natives. He had managed to single handedly kill all the remaining pursuers after they killed his group. He wandered in this wild area for almost a week when he met a Giant White Wolf, the Goddess Raina. Raina was a fallen goddess confined to the form of a wolf for some crime she had committed in the Pantheon. Her rage at her misfortune was taken out on all that dared entered her domain, and even as a wolf she possessed godly strength and stood as tall as a mountain. She cursed Degran and the foreign exile refused to be intimidated by her and the two fought. Despite his weakened state somehow and her power and size, Degran emerged victorious. He didn't slay her though respecting her as he Goddess she was and the two eventually bonded over the past as exiles. When the Blade War began he and Raina were approached by the first king to join the Unification forces. Their bond was legendary and Degran thought together he could create a new home for the both of them so he agreed. He became the kings right hand and was the first appointed to Lord after the war.
House Commodity: War Wolves- Giant wolves descended from Raina. While they aren't as large as she was they are still huge, roughly the size of two fully grown horses and broad and powerful to boot. They serve as mounts, battle companions and friends to the Sorahs and their vassals. War Wolves are treated as family by the Sorah. A Sorah child and their wolf are bonded on the very day of their birth because they are born on the same day and around the same time. An old myth say this is a product of Raina and Degran's powerful bond
Timber- from their lands
Mercenaries-Occasional will work as mercenaries if need be.
Land of House: SolGrad- the land in which the Blade war ended. Is a lush forest like area full of caves and clearings and plentiful of timber and game.
House Base: Rainamere-
House Magic: Lycaon- A magic derived from the bond shared between Degran Sorah and Raina that has two stages. Stage 1:The Sorah and their War Wolf are connected automatically even outside of this stage they can communicate with their wolf through speech and a sort of telepathy and vice-versa. Stage 1's true state though is the ability of the Sorah to become one with their wolf. In this stage their eyes change colors and become like those of a wolf, and the gain the heightened senses of a wolf as well as being able to view the world through their wolves eyes and direct them.(Kinda like warging.) This can be done by anyone of Sorah blood. Stage 2: This stage takes the bond even further and in it the Sorah and their wolf truly become one by merging into a gargantuan werewolf creature. This stage is only taught to the head of the Sorah clan and is only to be used as a last resort. The ritual takes a while to preform and even then only the strongest Sorah can maintain the form for about twenty minutes before their mind and the wolf's become lost to bestial urges and become a mad killing machine.

Background: The firstborn son of Malik and Serara Sonrah. Like all Sonrah he was born at the same time as his wolf, Artemisia. He was a prodigy master his bond with Artemisia at only 4 years old. He grew to be a capable warrior and smart tactician. Before he even became Lord he was beloved by the people and held admiration from the Sonrah people. He became head after his father died from a "fever" which he was suspects was actually poisoning after his father started talks about starting a rebellion.
Opinion on War: Thinks its the best course of action The king must be taken off the throne.
