When he see's that it's just a girl, he laughs and lets go, "Baby, you can bump into me ass much as you want." He walks past her, giving her a light pat on the butt and says, "You better join the other new kids. They can explain everything to you."

Kyra looked down at the floor and winces as he touched her. She turned her head to watch him walk away, scared to say anything. She just sighed and walked down the hall, trying to find the other people he was talking about. "Looks like I have to go through this again...." she sighed.

Kijani smiled a bit more. Unwittingly Zero had said just the sort of thing she needed to hear. "Yes, paper has plenty of unique properties, when it's used correctly. It's said the ancient Chinese used paper armor." She was getting to be very informed about Chinese culture through research. Someday she would go there and really learn, but for the time being she would stick with learning all that she could and teaching herself Mandarin through internet videos. "I can make it into a decent weapon."

Austin grimaced as the group followed. At least the cat people understood the sensitivities of their ears. He listened briefly to John, automatically not liking him, trying to move away from the large group. He rubbed his head. He can't wait till he has a own room to disappear into.

Ryan nodded. "Yah sure. I think I'm rooming alone. Too bad. If I knew somebody this would be easier. But I don't and the dorms are gender split. I could run to and from Central city bit that would take too long." He mused. He had no idea what he was going to do.

Ryan use to think he was bold. But she took the cake. He smiled a huge smile. "You know I would really like that. If we could spend time together. If you want to I mean. " He said softly.

At this Pheobe laughed, "it would be right foolish of my to suggest hanging out then say I didn't want to" she grinned "I would" she said, as she started to head over to the sign in area, "but first, we actually need to be in the school"

I walked through the halls thinking about what classes I should sign up for. I maneuvered through people to get to the sign up lines. It was a pretty tough day for me since this is my first time here, and the people here weren't exactly normal compared to the last school I went to. Hopefully I can have a good year and not get into any trouble. I quickly walk in line to get my dorm. I look around at the schools architecture. ''This school is amazing'' I say under my breath so no one hears me. I move up in line, I look around at the other students. It looked like the students came in all sorts of sizes. At least I can use my powers in peace without anyone harassing me about it. The line moves up again and I am getting close to the signup computer.

Kijani was surprised to find a small laugh escaping her. She'd never been teased in a kind way before, it was new but not necessarily unwelcome. However, she couldn't resist a response. "You have no idea." She smirked with pride, then turned toward the main building when a guy began speaking. Who did this fool think he was, king of the school? If he was just a student like the rest of them, that meant he hadn't worked out all of his faults yet. One of those faults being major overconfidence. Idiocy had it's uses, though, and Kijani would remember the name and face. As students started to file in, she nodded to Zero.

"I'm looking forward to learning how to really fight. Martial arts are fascinating."

Cassius grinned to himself when Jack had agreed to the race, he wondered how fast this kid would be, as fast as him? The idea of knowing someone with his power excited him. "Alright sounds good." He said to him, looking at his wrist to make sure the web fluid he had was on its normal setting. He looked at the ejectors and watched them spin into place, he was about to web-swing away but he heard Jack speak. "Well, I just want to go to a school that doesn't fear me." He smirked.

“It’s too loud,” said one of the bodyguards.

Volume was higher than normal, and Sue could amplify that entire sort if not brought in to a quieter zone faster. It was reckless to stay in a place where anyone could call someone, clap, and laugh, too close to Sue.

Now eyes were definitely on her. More tall men in black suits came in to usher Sue away. The little girl in the white tank top and black ear-muffs (specially designed to reduce the capacity of air, and therefore noise, to be heard) did not even have the chance to move further on to one of the halls and was being moved to a dorm.

Sue’s powers came to the knowledge of a higher government power that realized that regardless of however mystical, magical, cosmic, powerful any other superpower would be, Sue just might have the potential to top it by distorting the enemy’s focus with increased sound levels. Of course this was not Sue’s intent, but who is to say that the wrong ones will get to her and weaponize her? Who is to say that Sue would not bring the entire Academy population or even the entire nation to its knees?

No, the higher-ups thought. Sue was to be trained along the “good” side. Any side that sided with most of the superheroes was good enough for them. Sue had no choice. Sue was more of a utility than a human-being. She turned back just to catch the figure of a really tall male. That’s about it. Unfortunately, Sue has gotten used to such isolation. It was a life of being damned away because of how volatile she was. Not her emotions, but her stupid power. She hated herself.

Further to the East, away from most important buildings, was one of the science equipment faculties building. The five bodyguards and Sue entered an elevator to the top floor. No one spoke a word, especially in such a confined space. Reverberation was their enemy.

She was brought to a room where sound was absorbed. It was a version of the quietest room on Earth, where you could hear your own heartbeat and go insane. Sue’s hearing was that amplified that you could still hear the birds chirping outside and the faint distant cheers of the student population.

Sue was given her student bag, and several documents to read. She was told of her class schedule coming up and told not to leave this room without their attention.

She nodded. As the room closed quietly, she started to cry. A silent cry.

Amber slowly progressed to the school, she was in no hurry, she didn't really like school in the first place, she let out a sigh as she put her hands behind her head, with her eye's closed
"late on the first day... great..." she said as she remember her trip to school, her parents thought she was able to make it to school on her own without trouble, but they were wrong, halfway there she was attack by thugs with masks that demanded she hand over her valuables to which she replied with "go to hell" then she got into a fight, after she managed to beat them she got lost, it took her a while to realize where she was, and a little longer to remember what she was doing
"well, it's not my fault.... but they wont believe me...." Amber said to herself as she opened her eye's with slight anger before she looked in front of her to see the school
"hm... nice school...." she said with her eye's widened slightly, she then found the door and made her way in, but with no idea where she was going after a few minutes she found herself lost in the halls of the school
"perfect...." she said in a slightly annoyed tone as she continued to look around

Pheobe quickly used on of the computers, finding out her dorm, and grabbed a campus map, quickly memorizing it and putting it back. She shouldered her pack, looked about for Ryan and said, "I'm gonna go put my stuff in my dorm" she said, "you can come, if you want, unless you want to go to your own dorm"
