Not much in this realm concerns me but the universe is a big place." She said as she watched him walk away, before sighing and turning to look back to Kaden.

Recognising the look she gave his shoulder a shove. "He's not some wounded animal. If you try and save every troubled soul you'll end up the kindest dead man around. You already have enough people willing to kill you who - laugh as you may - have a real chance of turning up here any day now. Let's not add to the list." She shook her head and rolled her eyes and reminded herself he had managed to keep himself alive for two years. "Yes, class, come on then." She said suddenly, before muttering "Atleast you can overcome any enemies you make there."

Upon leaving the bathroom Makoto saw that Phoebe and Nicholas were gone but Katherin was still there.

"Hey, sorry about that. Shall we go into class?" Makoto suggested to Katherin. She had stopped by her friend but unconciously angled her body towards the classroom door, wanting to get into class. The two turned and entered the classroom, sitting by Phoebe and Nicholas.

"Hey." Makoto said, as she took her seat and rejoined her friends.

Nicholas smiled giggling again much like a child would when Phoebe rolled him to the classroom and when she got him the desk,His hands on the table quickly wrote a thank you note to Phoebe before getting out his things for class out of his backpack.

Flood walked into the room and sat at his usual seat. 'I wonder how Lee is doing?'

"So this is it?" A young man in ragged and worn clothes said standing out in front of the building. "The Academy of Heroes and Villains. The place where my path for revenge will begin." He said darkly clenching his fist tightly pulling the sack over his shoulder up some as Alexander Von Doom entered the building.

Having made her point Kagerou let Lee go for now. She turned her attention to the newcomer that was approaching the school. Moving to the front door she was there to greet him. She could tell who the father was but the mother was someone she had not encountered. Curious that a Von Doom would make their way here. Although it was a unique opportunity. Ah he entered she smiled and offered a hand. "Hello there. May I ask your name?"

As Anthony resumes walking around the school, he notices his new 'coworker' speaking to a young man that he doesn't recognize. He keeps his distance and calmly observes while listening to Reinhardt's ridiculous claim. "I suggest you quickly learn to stop lying to me." He says with a shake of his head. "That's a count that even the world's top assassins would be proud to have and they've been in for decades. If it had been just 94 normal humans, there's a all chance that I'd believe you somehow managed to evade my notice. There is absolutely no way, however, that you've be able to kill even fifty metahumans without my knowledge of it."

"Mhm true but I am not lying even ask Magneto but how about I prove myself to you..." Reinhardt shook his head following beside him,"How about a deal I complete a task of your choice and I will complete it..." He said with a smile on his face.

Anthony glances at his watch and smiles slightly. "Right about now, you should be going to Power Development, correct? I no longer need to attend, but I will to watch you. I want you to kill The daughter of Loki. Succeed and I'll consider hiring you."

Phoebe smiled indulgently at Nicholas. As he was like this, it seemed like he was almost a child, and it was easy to treat him as such. As Makoto rejoined them, Pheoebe smiled kindly at her, "so, I was thinking, it's been a rough couple of days here, I'd like to just...well, have a night with friends. I don't know what we could do, or stuff, but it would be nice" she looked to Katherin too, with a smile

Connor took his time heading to power development. He was reluctant to go, but didn't see a choice. Considering he had probably missed more classes this week then he had attended, it seemed wise to go.

But he was just so weary. Somehow, everything seemed to have changed not once, but twice today. And sometimes it was so hard to play the hero. When all he wanted to do was be selfish, and claim what he wanted.

As he reached the classroom, he sighed stepping in, and going to a desk.

Alex rose a brow as a woman greeted him at the door. Odd did this place have someone stand present at the door at all times just to greet strangers randomly walking inside during the middle of the day? Probably not, regardless it would be impolite not to return the greeting to the woman standing before him. With a small smile gracing his lips he grasped Kangerou's hand with his own. "Alex, charmed to meet you ms?" he asked wishing to know the woman's name.

"Who's to say I haven't already killed people trying to attack me earlier?" Kaden said dryly as they entered the classroom. "I make no pretense I am a saint Kat. Nor am I ruthless however should someone threaten me and not back off. They die." he said bluntly. "Its not a choice I enjoy making nor is it one I hesitate to make. The only reason I spared the Queen was because she didn't try to attack me again after our battle. However if I so much as seen a single Angel I will storm her city and take her head myself." It wasn't a threat nor a promise that left his lips. It was a certainty that would come to pass should he be provoked.

Kaden had become slightly colder during his travels a necessity to survive as long as he did. However that did not mean Kaden was no longer the young man Kat had met years back, it meant that while a kind and good hearted person should someone waste the one act of mercy he offers then his wrath will not be stopped. "Regardless." Kaden said his features softening again with a smile "I want to see how well you have improved since I last saw you battle an opponent. Hope you haven't grown to out of practice with your nose in your books." He said teasingly playfully shoving her shoulder.

“I do not doubt it, but who you kill and who wants to kill you are two different lists. Besides, I would not want to have to deal with the consequences if the future king dies on my watch.” She said with her tone lightening at the end. This was clearly not a conversation to be had here and not one she was particularly eager to have regardless.

She took the shove and swung back to face him in one fluid motion, a small laugh pushing past her lips. “Well I hate to disappoint but this class is merely a continuation of yesterday’s activity and I have already performed. So, sorry, but you shan’t be seeing me fight today. Though I may be seeing you if Mimic so decides.” She said as she finally took a seat.

As the students filtered in Mimic waited. Some of them had been through a lot recently but he wasn't going to let that get in the way of classes. Since signing the truce these classes was one of the few chances he had to let loose and show what he was made of. Did that sometimes make him look mean? Maybe, but it was also a great way for them to learn.

Kaden and Connor entered and the instructor rubbed his chin slightly. He had already known that Nicholas, Anthony, and Kagerou weren't going to participate but there two would be good to fill in. Rubbing his chin slightly he sorted them out in his head. Once everyone was seated he stepped forward with a confident smile on his face. "Alright, since the roster has changed a bit I'm going to make some changes to the teams. Here are the new teams. Ryan, Katherin, Estella, Kalinda, Lee, and John are on team 1. Team 2 will consist of Jack, Flood, Kaden, Ben, and Connor. Team 1 you're up first." He headed to the other room.

"Rotosu. Kagerou Rotosu. I noticed you coming so I came here to the front. Let me welcome you to the academy. What brings you to our facility?" It may sound like a rather obvious question. But everyone had a story. A Von Doom was of particular interest given the past of Alex's father.

Anthony leaves Kagerou to show the new student around and makes his way to the Power Development classroom. Upon arrival, he walks to the front of class, barely glancing at his former classmates as he passes them. "Excuse me, Mr. Rankin, but do you mind if I observe?"

After dismissing his students, John briskly walks to Mimic's class. Although he held the pseudostatus of staff member, Power Development was a good way to relieve some of the tension that tended to build up throughout the day. "What's up teach? Who's ass am I beating today?"

Ben quietly listens to who his teammates were and who his opponents would be. "I just wish I could remember for sure what these people could do! The big blonde dude will obviously be strong and I feel like that hot chick has something to do with shadows, which would definitely be a problem for me. There's the alien who can talk with her thoughts, I'm not sure what else she can do. I'm pretty sure the redhead can control ice, although the that's really not an issue. If I'm going to be fighting them, I need to be cautious. Take it slow, find out their weaknesses, isolate them, and take them out one by one."

Mimic:

Stopping short Mimic responded to Anthony's request. The young man was a new member of the staff but, despite being a Luthor, so far was not as much a thorn in his side as the other recent returnee. "You can, so long as you don't get in the way. Which I doubt is something you would do." Noticing that a couple from the other team members were getting up she held out his hand to stop them. "Some of you were not here last class so let me explain how this works. Each team gets a chance at fighting me. If it gets done fast enough then you will have a turn. If not it will wait for tomorrow." And under his breath he adds. "Assuming nothing else happens." Truely, far too many things were going wrong. The staff meeting about it has an exercise in futility and a waste of his time in his opinion.

Estella:

Her team was next. The change of team members was a little confusing. Most of them she knew little about so exactly how they would work together was quite a mystery. Making her way to the other room she glanced around at the large open area. Somehow the alien didn't think this was going to be fun. Facing her team mates she spoke to them with her telepathy. "I'm sorry if I cause any trouble in this. I really wish I could remember more about everything here. I do have one idea though. Instead of speaking to each other I can use my telepathy so we can all use our minds to speak. Then he won't know what we're planning."

Kalinda hadn't looked around the classroom when she had entered, not particularly interested in who was there and who wasn't, not wishing to speak with anyone right then, but as Mimic introduced the new teams, she frowned slightly, and now looked around the room.

So her ears hadn't been messing with her. Ben was here. It just proved to her that there was too many power plays here in the school, and that was suddenly very, very taxing.

Why should she care anyway?

But she did. She frowned, shook her head as she looked away, unaware that she had been staring for a time. She sighed, and rose, joining her team. She hadn't planned on speaking, but as Estella 'Spoke', she sighed softly "Mimic could just use your telepathy himself and figure out what we are thinking, I think"

Nicholas looked sadden by not being able to fight and like the class's job description that he couldn't develop his powers,He let out a child like whine looking down at his desk tears welling up in his eyes but wiped them away so not to look like a wush how one student put it in front of the others.

He wheeled himself over to the other room but slowly since his arms were not strong enough yet.

Reinhardt came into the room with a smile on his face walking beside Nicholas before getting close enough to help wheel him over to the other room,"Hello Nicholas...how are you doing?Well?That is good to hear it has been a long time since we had talked...and we do need to talk..." He whispered to him placing him in front of the arena letting go and walking away.

He would be safe for the time being since he convinced a few teachers that he had gone to the good side and but he would still be questioned by nosey people that he is still crazy.

"That would be wonderful." Makoto smiled, the tips of her mouth barely curling. She was happy, it's just that there was so much washing through her at that moment, it was hard to display any one of the emotions. It would certainly be nice to spend time with friends after class again. On day 1 she spent the evening with Katherin and Flood. Now it looked like she could spend time with Katherin, Nicholas and Phoebe. It made her heart swell a bit, the thought of having true friends.

Mimic came in and Makoto felt her heart squeeze in her chest and flutter. She was going to have to get the courage to talk to the intimidating man after class, somehow. He had knowledge of her powers that she didn't know how to make sense of. She listened intently to him, like she did all the other staff. It pained her when Nicholas left, he seemed really sad. Despite his position, could he not wield his powers? Did one need to be standing to use plants? Maybe it was contact with the ground that he needed. She wasn't sure and felt helpless to act. Instead she turned to Phoebe.

"Hey, is there anyway that we can get Nicholas to participate in the class? Like give him some extra help to level the playing field a bit?" Makoto whispered leaning close to her friend. She tried to do so discretely so not to be caught.

As the teams were selected Kaden nodded and stepped back before pulling his phone out of his pocket and began to casually bring up the internet.

All the while however Lee walked into the room with his hand in a brace and just barely caught word of him being on the first team and he had to fight this man. Oh great this would not be good. He thought to himself as he extended his staff and held it in hjs good hand.

John grins, happy to get started so soon. He stands and cracks his knuckles while strolling into the other room.
