The more time he spent in this odd town the more he grew restless. Something about the location deeply clashed with his being. Like some metaphysical version of repulsion caused by magnets of like polarity or like the water like fluidity of the city's reality to the equally fluid and lubricative nature of his soul. Amidst the transdimensional terminal did he watch for the next set of portals to open. The location was odd with its turntable floor and various moving mechanical as well with rails twisting and looping. The entire thing reminded him of a pinball machine. Having tampered with the processes to speed it up the machinery moved faster with a louder noise accompanying him as something started traveling down the rails. The first thing to appear was this bubble showing imagery of a forest. He dived into with no real thoughts. There was a big chance this would be some fantasy land and if not he'd find a way out.

Through J.C.'s tampering, he did choose wisely, the terrain which was once a beach-front for, some strange world was not as present as it once was. The dimension was shifting, yes it was shifting into a fantasy landscape. The forest trees, and verdant fields were taking over the sand and oceans that were once there. A new world was taking shape, molding around the presence of Cynosphere. Truly, this was a city you didn't want to live in, if due to the fact that dimensions would ravage it with a fair amount of ease. Either which way, the forests were beginning to open, as the world was preparing itself. In the distance, if one looked closely and hard enough, a mirage of a bright neon circle was spinning around. It's green, blue, yellow, and pink hues were flashing as the trees didn't appear to forge, in the presence of the mirage. Once the mirage was gone, it would appear to forge some more. Only for the mirage to return at a whim and keep the process from occurring, well not really, twas but a silly thing going on in the background. Though of course, that was but silly thing going on in the background that held no relevance to the shifting world.

"Name's Bee, miss." he shook the girl's hand. "And yeah, Smith said I could get an ID here. And something about training? Do I need training?" he asked, tilting his head.

Akiko paused for a moment as a digital watch around her wrist began beeping. She glanced at it and muttered out, "Well then, 'bout time." She peered at Bee, "Bee eh? Training, yes training is a necessary part. Especially if you are going to be a Field Agent, which..." She fiddled at her watch as it popped up a holographic image, which she quickly looked out before reducing it. "You are slotted to become. Now then, ID is a simple process." She swayed over towards a nearby door on the left, a rather plain looking door with a twist knob. She opened it and entered the room. The room was a plain white room with a large computer system on the right side of it, with many peripheral accessories, and a camera which was stationed in the middle of the room. There was a stool not too far from it, she pointed at the stool. "Sit, and I'll snap the picture needed for the ID."

Link spared the commotion from the basement little more than a passing glance. He turned back to the bartender. "Bottle of Chateau Romani, please." he requested, dropping five Green Rupees from his pouch onto the counter. If they had the drink, then Link deduced that the bartender surely must know of the Hyrulian currency. As he examined the lizard head, he was trying to figure out where the creature came from, who slew the beast, and how big of a fight it put up. Link glanced again at the skeleton, reminded briefly of a Stalfos. If that were the case, it had better think twice before attacking him. Link was not in a good mood. All this bouncing around had him agitated, as he preferred going at his own pace. First, being warped to the strange blue place, then to Hyrule, then to the Shadow Temple, then to the blue place again, and now here. No, the Hero of Dimensions (his self-dubbed name, as he didn't have a Hero specification like his ancestors... yet) was not in a good mood.

The bar-tender simply gave a nod, and collected the Green Rupees from the counter. She opened up the glass cabinet, and pulled out the bottle of Chateu Romani. "There ya go." She said as she slid the concoction over towards Link.

Ajax shook his head as he walked into the bar and Grimjack followed, which I realize is taking control of someone else's chracter but work with me here. Anyway, Ajax was left wanting for a drink after the clown had wandered off. He'd have to remind him of his offer later, but for now he might as well try his luck in the bar. "It seems awfully dangerous to have a city where only a few portions are stable, but what do I know. I do hope you know where we're supposed to go, however, because we weren't told. We were just dropped here with no instructions, no rhyme or reason. I still don't know why getting that thing is important or why it requires a group as large as this one". Ajax took a seat, nodding at Link, and adressed the bartender. "I'll have what he's having", he said as he looked outside just in time to see the beach slowly warp into some manner of forest, a dazzling array of colors like the blur of a mirage marking a horizon which began close by, then was gradually pushed further back by the appearing trees. "I don't suppose this is it?" he asked Grimjaw with no small degree of irony in his tone. He was used to things happening quickly when told they might take a while. The inverse, of course, also held true.

"Well, what kind of training do I need?" Bee asked, sitting down in front of the camera and smiling. "Like combat or something? Or, like, driving? I can drive okay, if that's what you're asking." he said.

The Bar-tender paused for a moment before staring at Ajax for a moment. "You're... you're a big guy. Sure you just want the one drink?" She asked of Ajax, before she quickly reached for the bottle. She eyed Ajax for a moment, before glancing at Link. "Which one of you two paying for the drink? Tab or no?" She inquired as she eyed them. Her attention was focused on a window which revealed the many trees that were multiplying outside. "...Ah, that thingagain. Wonder how many homes got destroyed this time? Business tends to pick up after the new dimension of the week rolls through and destroys everything they hold dear." As she said that she noticed the bar-door open, confirming her suspicions. She returned to taking orders and slinging out drinks. ---- Akiko quickly walked towards the camera, and with a flash the picture was taken. She walked over to the computer and began typing out. Just then the printer hummed to life, and an ID card was printed from it. She gestured for Bee to collect the card. "Training the mental and physical aspects needed for the job." She checked her watch again, "Interesting..." she mumbled out before glancing back at Bee. "Mind and body. Have you heard of the vehicle code yet? It's important to know how to file out the paperwork for your supplies. You can't get any supplies to bring out with you to the field if you don't file the exact amount you need."

"Well, anyone with a brain can file papers, right?" Bee said, furrowing his brows. "The important part is the field work. Whaddya need me to do, and what do I have to learn to do it?" he asked.

Link glanced and nodded at Ajax as he entered the bar. As the bartender asked who was paying, Link had finished his drink. He dropped a Red Rupee on the counter (He had plenty, and he could probably just find more if needed). "Get him two or three, and me a second." Link requested. He glanced back when Ajax asked about something. Link saw the forest, but didn't feel any particular attraction to it. Sure, the Hero of Time grew up in a forest, and the Hero of Twilight grew up near a forest (some might not say it was a big difference, but Link begged to differ), but he himself was born and raised in a small farming community away from any sort of forests. So, while a small part of him was curious about the forest, he didn't really feel like encountering any sort of Gohma (as every single one of his ancestors had faced some variant). Instead, he turned back to the bartender, as she handed him his second drink. Link contemplated the bottle for a bit before taking a drink. Yep, just as good and strong as he remembered it being.

Chell looked at Rawk with a mixture of confusion, caution, curiosity and a bit anger on her face. She pointed the gel gun at his torso before hearing him talk about Aperture and GLaDOS. She immediately holstered both devices and glanced over her shoulder at the cube. With a nod, she looked back at Rawk with a more calm and collected expression. "Speak."

From behind another door, near the bar-station emerged a rather large burly figure. Hulking with muscle, and having a large mullet he glanced at the smaller bartender and glanced as she took five rupees for a Chateu Romani!? He glanced at her, "My shift now." With a quick nod she got off the stool and headed into the backroom. He placed both of his arms on the counter as he peered at Link. "Say, you do realize that is a Chateu Romani right? Kid don't know how much it's really worth. Got one eh? Only paid five? Yeaaah you're gonna need to pay those other 295. Exports are expensive." He began laughing as he stared at Link. "How many did you get? ...No need, I'll check your tab. But first mate, you better fork up that other 295 Rupees right now."

Rawk turned to Chell as she pulled a gun on him. Having seen it spit gel out, Rawk instinctively called forth a Pawn, the small stone figure moving in front of its master. However, he had the Pawn back off as Chell calmed down. "Speak? What would you have me speak of?" Link looked at the new bartender with disinterest. He reached into his satchel, and pulled out a bag clinking with Rupees. "Here. This oughta cover all of 'em." Links said before the bartender spoke up. After his tirade, Link sighed. "Yes, I know how valuable it is. However, I had to make sure that it was actually good stuff." Link said. Hell, from his experience, the price this man was asking was a deal. The price he'd paid for the five drinks was easily what two or three cost in Hyrule. Link finished his second drink. "So, what's with the basement?" he asked. His curiosity had been niggling at him since he'd seen the two men come out, and now he was curious as to what happened down there. "Got some really big rats or something?"

Deadpool chugs the drink that was put in front of him just as the others started to enter the bar. One thing the drink did that surprised him: It got him drunk. Like, really drunk. Drunk enough for him to stay drunk for more than five seconds. He lets out a belch and grins rather sloppily as it starts to sink into his system. The waxy bartender looks in surprise. He wasn't dead yet. He sighs and puts the money in the cash register nearby. "Well, you survived. Have fun not paying for it, I guess." He resigns to the back, proceeding to polish glasses with a towel he had on his arm. Deadpool stumbles off, exhilerated that he actually got drunk. He starts mumbling random things and generally making other people displeased that he existed. Maxwell saw the other Avatars coming into the bar, and sighed. They always managed to find him. He walks over to a group of what looked to be pirates, and leans on the wall close to them. "Hello, gentlemen. I have a deal to make with you all."

The bartender began counting the rupees of the bag. He snarled at Link, "You don't get to 'try' it out, before paying. You pay what it is..." He returned to counting the currency, making damn sure that he was going to pay the proper amount for all of his drinks. He glanced towards the blast-door, "Giant rats, other creepy crawlies. Dimensions blow through here, it tends to catch a few creatures. Really large basement, consider it a dungeon for fighting monsters and, if you do mundane tasks for us, a little something something." He said nonchalantly as he went through the bag some more. ---- Akiko glanced at Bee, "Usually long training sessions, both in the classroom for mental learning, and in various obstacle courses and the like. But, as a new dimension blew through here. You may get an up-close field training. As for training, simple things really. Learning how to properly handle the weapons, how to stay undercover, things like that for field agents."

Link looked up from his drink. "Please. I'm an adventurer and dungeon-crawler. It's kind of what I do. Perhaps I could take a gander down there? Perhaps there might be something worth training off of." Link said, downing the rest of the drink. He slid the empty bottle back across to the grumpy barkeeper. He then turned to Ajax. "Tag along if you want, but I think what's down there might not be quite up to snuff with you. You could probably just glare at 'em and kill 'em." Link said, making sure his Master Sword and Hylian Shield were securely strapped to his back.

The Bar-tender gave a shrug, as he glanced at Ajax "Depends on what dimension just shifted on through, you might find something interesting to fight." He then glanced at Link as he returned to counting his coins, "Yeah, yeah, standard adventurer and dungeon-crawl procedures. Hold on." He reached under the bar-table as he pulled out a worn looking book, a bottle of ink and a quill. He quickly opened it to a blank page. It appeared to be a form of legalese. The bar-tender pointed at a dotted line, "Sign here." He then pointed to the next page, "And sign your full name there."

Ajax took one of the Chateau Romani mugs he'd been offered and quaffed it in one go. He then it down and repressed the urge to gag. It wasn't particularly strong but it didn't feel like a drink to him. It felt more like medicine. Some kind of super potion of some sort, something worse than that grape-flavored syrup you drink when you really need to feel better, but never for any kind of enjoyment. And, like pretty much every medicine he'd ever had, it tasted horrible. The more effective the medicine the worse the taste, and this must've been some effective medicine because he felt like he'd puked in his mouth a little and the puke had been posessed by disgust demons. Without a word, he grabbed hold of the other mugs and chugged them down as fast as he could so he'd be done with them as soon as possible, fighting down the awful taste through sheer willpower. Never again. "Hrm...that was...different and not at all what I expected" he grunted as he set down the very last mug. He then eyed the bartender and the document. "Well, I realized I have no money. Weird, I know, I've been away from civilization for a while. Since I'd rather not own anyone anything, you tell me what you want me to do for those drinks and give Green here back the money for mine. I dunno, I can kill something big and nasty if you'd like, or move something big around..."

The Bartender glanced at Ajax, "Commendable attitude." He gave a nod of approval, knowing that having tasks done for you was just as good as payment for the goods. He glanced at the knight with the legs sticking out from the cylindrical helmet. "Beast still there?" The Knight gave a grunt in affirmative. After he collected the Rupees and tossed the bag beneath the bar he glanced at Ajax, "Yeah well, there's an overgrown lizard, that we affectionately refer to the Beast. It's big, and fairly nasty. Kill it so we can make some meals. Hell I'll give you one free if you bring the body. Or, if you don't find it, or it's already dead, there's a large container of ale barrels down there. Bring it back up, and consider your drinks on the house. I hope you don't mind me waiting before I toss those little coins, of sort, back to him." He then pointed at the ledger. "Sign here, if you want to go."
