okay so just so im clear before I post im going to say that Angelo is winning and that with his new forces Angelo decided to go into the battlefield with his men. I will also say that the youngest brother has decided to do his older brothers a favor and keep bright ops people out of the fight. so he can not die and instead think of it as a favor owed to him by whoever wins on the ground

Just to clear it up, Fortress Blood Harvest is being made on the planet itself somewhat distanced from other settlements. I'm not saying that the youngest brother can't send agents to try and spy on what's going on, but after seven days harassment free to dig in and entrench themselves my boys are going to make such efforts a very hard, highly dangerous operation. Trespassers will be shot, survivors will either be shot, stabbed or taken alive for interrogation/conversion. While the Nur'xal do have some understanding of basic rights, their version of them is somewhat different from the traditional meaning of the term; And they certainly don't apply to the unenlightened.

Uh huh, well I rather have him do something cause you making a fortress on my planet in the middle of a war isn't going to help me much so what else can I do but send spies and hope for the best

Well potentially the Karilac could drive the Nur'Xal ships away from their positions over the fortress.
If they manage, no amount of groundside defenses can stand against heavy orbital bombardment.
Granted It'd be a though slug but the results could be worth it for the Seraphim and their alies.
They'd best do it soon though since I fear the Nur'Xal won't be on the defensive for much longer.

Meanwhile the Kimo will just quietly sit on the sidelines and be about their usual buisness.

While this is somewhat true, you also have to consider the 'Risk vs Reward' factor. While it is true that driving away the Nur'xal fleet and orbital bombarding their ground fortress may be beneficial to the Seraphim's, what do the Karilac really get out of it? The Seraphim's are a pre-space race that don't really seem to have much to offer as a vassal/client race. Sure, offering one of the factions of their war supplies and advice is easy enough to do because its low risk with pretty good returns, but armed intervention is a whole different ball game.

The Nur'Xal are only here in force because of religious reasons. The actual planetary resources mean absolutely nothing to them beyond the fact that there is a race that needs to be enlightened here.
