In Ultima Segmentum rest the Imperial world and home world of the Space Marine chapter the Shock Raiders. The planet is covered in massive electric storms that forced everyone that isn't a space marine to live underground and inside mountains of the planet in colossal Hive cities. Life is hard for those how live in the city there is little in comfort and in certain area's hive gangs rule, Arbites enforce an oppress the population with harsh laws, people work in massive manufactorums building the war supplies for the Imperium, and the only comfort there is in the Imperial cult that indoctrinates the people into fanatical followers. In the hives there is also a taint on the planet as those who have fell under the sway of the Chaos gods and work for the dark ends. In the deeper parts of hive one a Chaos cult living in the lower levels was trying to cast a spell that would draw people from across the muiltverse to sacrifices them to the dark gods but before they could a squad of Arbites kicked down the door interrupting the spell before they could finish the spell completely. But it was a partially cast drawing people on the planet's main hive city. Now stranded in the 41st millennium, will they figured out how they got there and get back to there homes? Or succumb to the darkness of the this dark millennium. But ether way the will discover in that in this dark time There is no time for peace. No respite. No forgiveness. There is only WAR!
