Eris was pushed though the doors of the gym by a pair of guards armed with what looked like airsoft guns "Do you really have to push Mr.guard person?" she said as she turned around so that they could unlock the handcuffs. After they were off she smiled back at them and skipped off towards some bars and started swinging while looking around the room spotting at least one other person there.

Hokey didn't seem quite so startled this time around when Ariella took her turn to pop out of sight. "Another one who can disappear, huh?" Hokey commented, his amusement blatant. When Ariella smiled, he responded with his own unusual one and nodded. "It's okay to make mistakes. Just don't forget the lesson attached." The mechanical hound said to her. As she headed out, Hokey followed, at last moving to join the rest of the group at the gym. Once at the entrance, he paused before heading in to allow the new arrival and their escorts to go in first without obstruction. "Oh hey, new face." Hokey said to Eris as she passed. "Didn't see you back in the lunchroom. Nice to see your friends there have helped you get right where you need to be." When Hokey finally wandered into the gym with the rest, he turned to Vlad. "That should be all of them. For now. Any further orders, sir?"

Shane was half way through with his burger when the doctor spoke up. "Right gym... fun..." He thought with a roll of his eyes and another bite of his burger. It was when the mechanical hound that Shane's interest was caught. "Robot Fido... I want." He said slightly as he finished off his burger and stood up. He began to walk out of the room, though he grabbed another burger on the way out. As he walked down the hall he kept his eyes focused on the mechanical hound, studying it carefully. As he walked into the gym he found a seat on the bleachers and bit into his burger.

When Hokey finally wandered into the gym with the rest, he turned to Vlad. "That should be all of them. For now. Any further orders, sir?"

"Good work Hokey." Vlad acknowledged the robot. He turned his attention to the group. "We're going to start with the basics. I need to see what kind of physical shape you are in. For some of you this has changed. For others it won't yet but I still need the data. You will climb the ropes and the rock wall today."

Felice looked up at the ropes and over at the rock wall before letting out a quiet huff. Making us perform exhausting physical exercise directly after eating? This is a terrible idea. Wonder what'll happen to the ones who really dug in at the cafeteria. Honestly, Felice thought that the numbers would likely improve if they didn't do this directly during the time that they would be digesting, but who was he to question the great scientists who pulled the strings? Maybe this was the catch to the good meal after all. Sneaky. Either way, there was no getting out of it now. He was glad that he hadn't filled up his plate, and he just hoped that nobody cramped up. But that was just how natural selection worked, wasn't it? As much as it actually disturbed him considering how old some of these people looked, he knew that he didn't really have the option to worry about the others all that much right now. He could only solve his problems by surviving himself. Turning his gaze back to Vlad, the lightly scowling boy rubbed the fingers of one hand with the thumb and held it out as he asked one of his usual questions: "Quanto per la contratta? Vlad glared at the young man that questioned him. His deal with Felice was unique. Actually all the deals he had made were different. Despite the delay he answered the boy. Mostly because the boy wouldn't preform until he did. "You must Beat your previous times."

As Ariella made it into the gym, she noticed the instructor telling them about climbing up the rocks. That was something that Ariella actually liked to do, so bring it on! But instead she sat down on the bleachers waiting for her turn to come.

James looked at Vlad. "I'll go first," he said, approaching the rock wall. Of course, this was the first time he had spoken when anyone other than Vlad was around, and he didn't speak very loudly. Just barely loud enough for Vlad to hear. Haru, on the other hand, took about a half second to analyze the ropes and rock wall and come up with the quickest way to the top.

The boy met the glare with his own usual one. Vlad knew how he worked, this wasn't new to him. "Va bene." He finally nodded in acknowledgement of the conditions, turning toward the wall with the intention to tackle it first before going for the ropes. His plan to get through this quickly was put on hold by another volunteer, however. Some quiet one. Crossing his arms again, he hung back for a moment and place his attention back into examining the wall again. He didn't really care who went first; he would get up there in time, and this gave him another moment to prepare.

Autumn joined the people sitting on the bleachers, her feet dangling off the ground. She ran her eyes quickly over the rock wall. She had always loved climbing and would usual climb the tree in her backyard. It would make her mother made and she would yell at her. That Autumn didn't like very much at all. And the rope was like the one they used to climb in Gym at school. Autumn missed school and wondered when she would be able to go back. It wasn't like she had any friends or anything though, they always called Autumn weird and the girl often played by herself at recess. You gonna be able to climb that wall weakling? Mary taunted which Autumn ignored as she waited her turn.

Hokey nodded his head to Vlad then proceeded further into the gym with the others. He glanced around with fascination at the contents of the gym. It had been somewhat renovated and outfitted with new equipment for their latest batch of test subjects, it appeared. He tried to mentally link the more specialized machines with the test subjects they were intended for. The extremely challenging ones belonged to Crusher, that much was a given. He couldn't help but notice the occasional curious glances he received from Shane, though he wasn't yet able to piece together the reason for them. His head then turned to the new, unfamiliar voice. Felice. He hadn't heard him speak at all earlier, now that he thought about it. Though something was... off. Hokey did not comprehend. He repeated a recording of his words in his head, and with that the true nature of the situation quickly occurred to him, and as soon as it did, he raised his head. Without waiting for Vlad to acknowledge him, he began to talk, a hint of exasperation in his voice. "With all due respect, sir, isn't the goal of this program to make super soldiers to defend -America-?" he questioned, thudding a metallic paw against the marble gym flooring slightly at that last word for emphasis. "I mean, if they can talk English as well, that's swell, really swell, but I think coordination will be a bit, eh, impacted, if we can't understand each other, you know? I mean, I'm outfitted with systems that can not only transcribe audio into text, but also parse it through a translator, but... ever used Google Translate? Babelfish? It's not great, is what I'm saying. If I have spoken out of line, I accept my reprimand, but I hope you understand that I just have concern for group cohesion."

James started climbing the rope, easily pulling himself up using only his arms. Once he reached the top, he simply let himself drop to reach the bottom again, landing on his feet. It hurt to land standing up after dropping from that height, but he shrugged off the pain and started climbing the rock wall. Haru was just observing after he finished analyzing the wall and rope.

Felice couldn't stop the slight smirk that appeared on his face at the metallic canine's exasperation. °Hai un problema, canino? Non è un problema per mi~." The amber-eyed boy sent a somewhat sassy wink toward the group in general. Hey, whether this place was hell or just on the way, he'd take what simple pleasures he could where he could get them. There weren't many for him. Actually, it was rather amusing to find a dog that had problems with how he spoke. Even back home, he wouldn't have believed it. ...Yeah...Back home... When did he start thinking about it like that? Pushing the thoughts away again, he turned back to see the volunteer's progress on the wall. Hmm... How would he go about this when it was his turn?

Eris sat down in the bleacher and was watching the boy start on the Rock wall unconsciously clenching and unclenching her hand which flickered between flesh and some kind of dull blue metal alloy never staying on one too long, "this should be fun" she thought as she looked at the others pausing on Crusher and then Hokey for a few seconds longer than others before continuing on.

Roxy rolled her eyes. Her arm strength wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The rock wall should be easy since she could spread out her weight. The rope would be harder. But she was sure that she could make it to the top.

Crusher seemed very impressed at James as he'd climb himself up the rope and then the giant rock wall, Crusher nodded slowly as he looked over to Vlad with his big red eyes waving towards him in a friendly manner pointing up at the rope signalling if he had to go next or Vlad had a different challenge for Crusher, he continued to look around at the men, women and Hokey who was the only per-Ahem...Dog, he could trust here.

Ariella looked at the volunteer going up the rocks. It was a bit hard, depending on the balance and if the person is heavy or not because of the rope. She looked around noticing the other students staring at the guy. "Mmmm.... I don't want these people to be looking at me while I climb up the rocks.... what if I fall or something.." thought to herself, now standing up and getting closer to the students who were already standing.

"Climbing... Yeeeeaaaahhh not really my thing.." Shane said before he took another bite from his burger. "Not much strength in these arms." He said with a mouth full of burger.
