Well, there's lucid dreaming, and then there's OBEs (Out-of-Body Experiences) which is what I think you're referencing. OBEs are a spiritual state, where you exist as nothing but a spirit in your dream world rather than a tangible object. Usually in OBEs it's easier to interact with your sub-conscious, and delve deep into your mind.

Simple lucid dreams, which just means, being "awake" within your dreams is like having full consciousness and feeling, which is what I want to experience more of. Taking control of dreams is boring if you can't feel and experience them lucidly.

And there, OBE conflicts even more. OBE is where your spirit exits your body, while you're in the real world (Not the dream world at all.)

My mother had it happen to her on the operating table, saw chains attached to her like The Almanac, something on the top self, then when she slammed back into her body, she told the doctors what she saw on the shelf.

They were shocked she knew it was there, or who any of the doctors where, or what they were doing, because they said she was completely out during the whole procedure.

They're all just terminology that I came across through studying. Read on stuff made by Dr. Stephen LaBerge and several other experts who all said the same things. Lucid Dreams are when you're fully aware and conscious in a dream. OBEs are when you exist as a spirit in your dreams. They all tended to say the exact same things on the matter and terminology. The WILD and MILD technique, False Awakenings, dream constructs, and all of that. I do think the coolest things is the ability to speak to your sub-conscious though, which they tend to call the "dream maker". Ask it things like "What should I do?" and "Why is this happening?" and it usually answers. The best part is, you're pretty much getting these answers from a smarter and wiser version of yourself that's locked deep inside. It's the main reason I wanted to get back into this stuff.

Hmm, I think what's confusing me most, is in my religion, we use those terms for other things entirely. But yeah, I guess they could be used for dreams as well, but having a pretty different meaning.

I don't think I've ever talked to my 'dream maker' before, however. That would be interesting to try soon.

I was kind of hoping that Naoto would have messed up because of my characters barging in XD.

Also, I think whoever it was that has that gif in their sig is doing either one of two things.

1. Trolling anyone who RPs with him, because every time they look at his post, that image will be there.

2. He really likes that movie for some reason and wants to show off the scene where zombie ghoul #1 throws up a parasitic worm into pretty lady #76, and thinks that everyone should watch that on a continuous loop.

Gintama is an awesome show, its has a ton of spoof stuff but it does have a main story line that is epic too.

Alright, this now begs the question of whether I should post now, or have someone else post first. I'd imagine that I probably should post, to get my introductions with Garsin out of the way, and because the plot can't move forward otherwise.
