Actually, they probably saw The Ones gif and just nope'd out of here. Dang it The One, why'd you have to put that crap on here? It also looks like The One has quit the site anyways, considering that she hasn't posted in like two months, unless she's on vacation too.

Might I add that I really dislike how limited the bio section is? 2,000 characters is like limiting me to having only one sandwich as sustenance for each and every day. I understand that people can just PM to get to know you better, but the bio is the first thing they look at to get a general concept of your personality. My bio has literally hit the limit, and it doesn't even scratch the surface of what I want to tell people.

You know what would be awesome? An RP set in Singapore. Have you seen the dang place, it looks fantastic! It puts New York and Los Angeles to shame pretty much instantly, and the best part is that their main language is english! No pesky translations are needed, and it's an amazing vacation spot. I'm pretty sure any sort of plot could work in it's setting, you'd just have to figure out the culture and a few other things, and you'd be good to go.

Alright, I have done a very thorough read to get this all to sink into my very, very sporadic ADD mind.

I was considering making a blind girl or boy who will probably be 18 or older. Just to try and counter the doki doki apocalypse.

That being said, the energy subject is really vague. Any chance you'd be the person I'd ask for elaboration on that? I was thinking about making the character martial arts heavy and combining both sound and energy. Not sure if that would be too potent, though.

Tek is the guy who has final say on how the dimensional powers work. I tried helping him out with the energy stuff, and then we ended up accepting someone's character who abused it to hell and back; so it probably needs some fine-tuning. It might take Tek a while to see this though, because he's on vacation.

Maybe I'll just have the character have sound and put it in that it acquires energy later because of some interaction or other. Whenever Tek returns I'll ask for more specifics. At least I have no idea what energy really is so I can't really abuse it.

The One made two "twin" characters, that I think were called Blade and Slade or something. She abused the energy powers under the guise of "oh, but, they were bored," or "oh, but, they're kids." She was intentionally trying to kill off my character because I was giving her crap about abusing the power. Also, a guy named Pharaoh abused a weapon he made, and after we made the rules more strict, and required them to re-write their characters, (as well as ours for fairness reasons) they just disappeared.

Energy is like... feeling heat and cold, and a third 4th dimensional 'heat' element, which I cannot physically explain because there is none that exists in our 3rd dimensional world.) I can't explain what it'd feel like, because it's physically impossible for us to understand what it feels like without having felt it ourselves. Let's say it feels Yellow, like heat feels Red, and cold feels Blue... kay?

Anyway, it's pretty much whatever you like. I'm going to make Kassy capable of summoning spheres of energy, controlling her weapons telekinesisly, and possibly conjuring weapons like Blade and Slade could (But, much MUCH weaker... and generally as backups for others, in case they lose theirs or something.)

This is probably why The One was able to abuse it so easily, we don't really have solid ground on how energy works in terms of limitations. Is it dependent on the person? Their strength or mental capacity? What they've been through? The twins could have been vastly nerfed if we had just said, "well when they're younger they can't control it as well." Or something like, "they clearly aren't smart enough to be able to control their energy powers, therefor it's vastly weakened." That probably would have saved us some time.

I think I said before that having the energy power was like being a mage in a way, but I don't know if that still stands now.

Appearance

Appearance: Tachibana's appearance is caught somewhere between a child's and punk rocker's. Apart from rolling out of bed (not on all days), brushing her teeth, and taking a shower, the young woman does little else to promote her appearance.

Her ink black hair is cut short to avoid hassle although traces of dark blue hair dye can be seen from various years of highlights and other colorful ventures. Sloppy bangs obscure her eyes when sunglasses do not, although they are an alarmingly watery tawny color, like coffee heavily thinned by milk due to a childhood bout of fever that left Tachibana blind save for the murkiest perception of shadow and light. Her skin is rather pallid from the amount of time she spends indoors and is usually smudged with a stray nick or bruise.

She stands at just 154 cm, making seem to be a rather passive or non - threatening figure but her file in the police database places her as being involved in several brawls. Despite being extremely scrawny and wiry, she posses a lean and hardened physique. Her crude tendencies and her toughened, usually sloppy appearance often have her mistaken for a boy, which Tachibana doesn't seem to correct often.

Biography

Born to two schoolteachers in Tokyo, Saho Tachibana enjoyed a relatively normal life even during the first years of the Fourth Dimensional scare. Following her encounter with meningitis at the age of six, Tachibana has all but completely lost her sight. She is able to distinguish light from the dark and motion, but she cannot see definite shapes or colors.

It was soon afterwards that she began to develop an uncanny set of hearing faculties. With it came some startling stories that she told her parents. Convinced that her fantastic stories -- one of them being of a bizarre entity that otherworldly beings referred to as the all mighty Fourth Dimensional toe cheese-- would result in her being killed or kidnapped by the government or private research sector, they quickly scared her into keeping silent about her tendencies. They explained her sudden quietness as another effect of her childhood illness.

At around age ten, Tachibana made a startling discovery as she began to attend her local dojo to begin training under her aunt, a local Goju Ryu karateka. She quickly noticed that every time she became frustrated, a burst of inexplicable color began to bloom at her hands and feet, sometimes even covering portions of her body in a second skin. Being blind at this stage in her life, she found these colors to be beyond the normal colors she had seen when she was still very young. While this would not affect the other children she practiced with, she still does not understand their properties.

In order to better isolate herself, Tachibana attends college classes online and rarely leaves her apartment. She is a certified interpreter and works translating documents from her apartment on a freelance basis. It makes an income that is decent enough for her to survive and enjoy a few comforts.
