The hound growled at her newest attack, she was more than quick witted and capable, the rolling object that came toward her was hastily charged into. Electricity bounced off of her thick hide, low growls sounding from her muzzle as she slowly circles the automaton, minding her surroundings as she did so, tucking back her armored plates, giving her a more sleek rather than bulky look.

Cole put his magnum away an retracted his grapnel while the stranger drew closer to him, when Cole could smell the blood on the stranger, he side stepped the stranger and tried to kick the man in the side of his head.

"Give up stranger you aren't going to cut this coat, it's a highlander in leather." Cole aimed his magnum at the stranger

[NacNak]

The armored being quickly reloaded his E.F.G.L before placing it on his back after the grenade exploded, though it was a surprise that the Phage-Hound was still standing, it didn't phase him. He reached back for another weapon, pulling out his L.A.R and turned the safety off as he took aim, he ever so slightly looked towards the stranger who was attacking Cole while making sure to keep an eye on the animal.

"stand down and call off your hound or it's dead"

He warned in a dead serous tone at he looked back towards the animal, ready to open fire on a moments notice.

Aki sighed he just finished fighting and now he has another person to fight. He turned toward the the stranger he knew that the armored man would handle the hound. So he figured he would help Cole Aki drew his blade and said "We aren't your enemy we are a simple group trying to end this war. Before it destroys this country you seem to be a good fighter so why don't you help us."

Stopped short with his blade the moment it didn't connect, releasing a hand from the blade's pommel, bringing his now free arm up to block the oncoming boot. He used the reversal of momentum to push his opponent backward forcefully, possibly sending him toward his own ally(Aki) back first and maybe even causing him to release his weapon. His eyes darting between targets momentarily, focusing on his main attacker solely.

The hound hiss-growled dangerously, it could plainly understand threats, she slowly pushed forward, her plates flaring up like reactive armor. Her claws lightly tapping the asphalt as she counted on his preemptive trigger squeeze, prepared to move accordingly should the weapon fire.

The armored being looked to the stranger before looking back to the Hound as it slowly got closer, under his helmet his brows furrowed as he let out a sigh.

"I didn't want to have to this, but you leave me no choice..."

He said mostly to himself as he pushed a button on the bottom of his weapons magazine, then he aimed at the Hounds legs before he pulled the trigger, red light quickly lit up the room four times as something similar to the sound of gunshots echoed through the area. Four beams of directed energy sped towards the Hounds legs faster then the blink of an eye as four casings flew from the weapon in the armored beings hands. Though he frowned on the idea of seriously wounding an animal, unless it was huge and was trying to kill him or others, he made sure that the shots fired wouldn't pierce through the animals legs and cause serous damage, with the button pressed on the magazine he had the weapons ammo go from pierce to burn so worst case scenario the Hound wouldn't be able to walk for a while.

Cole dived out of the way of Aki and rolled away from the stranger, the white haired man took out his magnum from before and flipped out the cylinder, he held his hand above the bullets in the cylinder and made a closed fist with the hand to the point where black gunk oozed from his hand onto the bullets." Great some guy from somewhere wants to kill us, and I didn't even get a chance to debrief everyone." Cole then flipped the cylinder back into the barrel." Doubt you'll keep going if I hit you with a couple of these." Cole told the guy firing a couple rounds at the stranger.

Aki stepped between Cole and the stranger after Cole fired. He put his hand up and said to Cole and the armored being with them, "Stop firing we are in the cease-fire zone. We don't want to hurt the people we are fighting to protect." Aki looked at the stranger and said "I'll fight you but let's take it out of the cease-fire zone. We don't want any innocent bystanders or witnesses." Aki kept his sword up ready in case the stranger attacked again.

Tovo had taken a detour to collect his pay for playing guard, it made him late for the meeting by the fountain but just as well since as he walked, light thuds coming from his footsteps due to his armor, he noticed that someone was attacking the group he was going to meet with. it seemed like he missed the beginning of the attack and someone was trying to talk the attacker down now but he drew his weapon as he approached anyway and kept it at the ready.

The agent tactfully used his blade to cut down the rounds, narrowly dodging another as it passed by his head. Now he was surrounded by this, group by the looks of it, they were a team of sorts. His hound was dealing with her own problem, her legs were smoldering with smoke from the weapon fired at her, she was in pain but she wouldn't show it. He and his Phage hound were now back to back in a way. "Agent, you're outnumbered, peel out and report to these coordinates." His female contact spoke, the order booming in his head as he cast his grenades out toward the group around him, using the explosion's cloud to mask his escape. Now he was gone and he had a new set of orders to follow.

Meanwhile as the group attempted to form themselves.
A figure in purple sat perched atop the rooftops over looking the town's ceasefire zone, the group and all their activities in clear view as she watched them through a sniper scope. The rouge assassin wasn't planning to kill the group of hero's not yet anyway, no she had her sights set on another who attempted harm against the group she was sent to watch, even as he used an explosion to mask his escape the assassin was still able to follow him.
Quickly she turned to a device on her wrist that allowed her to find different radio frequencies in the area, for her helmets built in headset to pick up and soon very found the one she was looking for, activating her headset in order to talk to the agent, this of course drowned out any one else talking to the agent over his own headset.

"Hello there, let me introduce myself. I am known as Storm, you might have heard of my work. I am assuming that this is the man that just now attacked the group I have been watching? I have a proposition for you if you are willing to hear me out"

Gained enough distance from the city to finally find a place to establish temporary home base, a small cave overlooking the city. Agent? Agent, can you hea-who?! Logistics!" She shouted out toward her apparent division of specialist, an odd feminine voice patched in, a female known as Storm, an assassin with a high rep, so why was she talking to him. To even know she had been watching him was all too striking for the agent, he took quick glances around just to be sure. Reaching the end of her words a smirk was held beneath the helmet he wore. "I'm listening..." he spoke in his slightly altered voice.

The armored being stood still, his L.A.R pointed were the stranger and it's hound were just seconds before the stranger threw grenades towards him and the others in the building. The armored being had only a fraction of a second to react, his reaction being to crouch down and use his left arm to cover his head as the grenade's exploded, thus throwing up dust from the ground, allowing the stranger and it's animal to escape. The armored being stayed still for a moment before standing up, aiming his weapon where the stranger had been before the grenades were thrown, he lowered his weapon as his looked to the motion sensor in his helmet, just barely catching a glimpse of two signatures going out of range, with that in mind he holstered his L.A.R and turned to the others in the room.

"is everyone alright?"

He asked to any in the building as the dust from the grenades settled.

Aki blocked his face with his free arm. After the dust settled he looked around and said "Well I'm good. How is everyone else? It seems our mysterious friend is gone."

Tovo turned to the others that remained after the armored stranger and it's hound threw grenades and escaped, he looked to one that was just holstering his weapon and was inquiring about the others status, he approached and asked "are you in command?" @NacNak

The armored being looks to Tovo before looking around the damaged room, after a quick look he looks back to Tovo.

"I suppose I am"

He say's in a lighthearted but somewhat serous tone before he goes over to a broken window, cautiously looking out it before walking back to the others.

"Am I right to assume you all known why you've been brought here? or do I need to remind you?"

He asks them in a calm tone as he looks to Tovo and Aki

Aki looked around to make sure they were the only ones in the area. Then looked back at the stranger and the armored being. He said "I know why we were brought here. But all I am wondering is what your plan is for the matter."

While the group recovered from their unknown enemy and returned focus to their main purpose of being there, a young black haired girl, the very same one who was watching the town from the cliffside, had found her way into town. Currently hiding behind a nearby building though not very well, she could clearly be seen peeking out around the corner, spying on the group with unknown intentions.

"Right there they...uh how should I go about this now?" She scratched her head "I never thought I would get this far. wasn't planning on skirmish here coming to a halt...hmmm" The girl ducked back behind the building, crossing an arm over her opposite chest and resting her fingers against her lips, brow furrowing as he tried to think of what she should to do next. No matter how hard she thought though she just couldn't find a solution to her problem "I guess...I could just go up to them like a normal person?" The girl spoke out loud to herself, head tilting as she managed to confuse herself a little.
