@Aura Lodestone I'm on a phone so it's hard to quote, but I believe food was provided in the previous mod post. Cans, boxes and bags of edibles of unknown age inside the open door of the pillar. Unless Elin is unfamiliar with food packaging, of course, in which case he is indeed out of luck. ;)

Well there are a few good point outs so lets begin...

1. Food was provided? Unless its in the map room or on the deck, Elin would not know about it...

2. His food was generally processed so other than the fact that he knows people are meat, the only food he knows are special processed pills and these strange nutritional rolls since well, why have lots of different food when you can process one super delicious single food in mass quantities...

3. Looks like either someone is going to get eaten or Elin is going to starve to death on Boat Survivor Tree Edition.... anyways going to post like later on since I want to make it a good post not a rushed post

Maps, paper, notes, bone dust, charcoal shavings, all of it flung into the wind that was released like a torrent in the room. The keys jangled against the wall. The door in the column at the center of the room creaked open a crack, pulled by the change in air pressure; inside was a tiny dark enclosure piled with boxes of crackers and flatbread, sealed bags of dried meats, stacks of unlabeled cans, and a ladder that led upward.

The plantlife that grew throughout the room seemed to grow a bit brighter and strained immediately toward the light that was let in. An observant person might realize that within those few moments of light, the little saplings were just a bit bigger than they had been before. The walls creaked -- but then, the entire ship was constantly creaking, wasn't it?

Checking in! It's Saturday and not many people have posted. I'll have to be sure to make the mod post simpler, more sensible, and less crazy-convoluted. It appears the current style of handling action-reaction isn't going anywhere tangible, and even I'm confused about what's going on. I'll think on a different tactic.

In the meantime, mod post (a possibly differently styled one) is set for tomorrow.
