Post is up! A few notes:

:: Anyone who hasn't posted yet, you're just waking up after everyone else. You're not left behind!

:: The observatory is at the very top of the very back of the ship. Directly underneath it is the map room. People in the observatory can hear everything that goes on in the map room, and vice versa, if they listen closely. You can shout through the floor/ceiling to one another if you're so inclined.

:: The door in the observatory that leads outside is unlocked. If anyone from the observatory walks outside, you'll see Tommy right below you. Similarly, Tommy and anyone in the map room who comes out can reach the observatory via the staircase outside.

:: The brass horn in the engine room is attached to the brass horn outside the map room. Right now the engine room people can speak directly to Tommy, if he stays where he is.

:: The engine room is too far down to hear what's going on anywhere else. The brass horn is the only means of communication or signs of life outside.

:: Yes, Tam Tam is responsible for the machines acting up in the engine room.

:: Edit: and a reminder to go back to the first mod post and take a look at what was written about your surroundings. There's a lot of stuff that might be worth your while to take a look at. Just a touch can set things in motion.

:: Edit again: I should mention that I've rearranged the quotes of everyone's posts so they make an accurate timeline of what's actually happening. I've quoted snippets of posts that are important to what's going on -- interactions with the environment and observations that I think are important. I strongly suggest paying attention to what's been quoted. ;)

yeah but your character is not looking at people as food supply, that and if he sees real food he might ditch it but his instincts are all he has to go on since food was abundant in society now we on a strange ship with no food and really really salty water and lots of wind and a strange group of people

A food supply wearing glasses and talking intelligently
A girl who sounds like she well a bit crazy
and another girl who seems crazy in a different way
