I'd like to keep my introduction short since I'm eager to get into some games and start a few of my own here. I'm Strange Pulp. If you feel the need for a more abbreviated nickname beyond that, either Strange or Pulp will do just fine in grabbing my attention.
So, a bit about me. I'm new to this site, but not roleplaying. I've been on hiatus from gaming for a while and the sites I used to play on are no longer a good fit. After looking around at the games here I think I'll fit in quite well.
I'm semi-casual in my approach to gaming. I can do heavily structured games and do enjoy them, but I've never liked literacy levels being attached to being able to always write five paragraphs or things like that. I strongly believe that there are times where even in "advanced literate" games where there some responses to sothething happening that can only be accurately responded to with one sentance posts. I care more about narrative than my characters well being, and try to have them go through their own hero's journey throughout a game. If they die before thats through or are no longer relavent in a particular plot they will probably leave while I plan out with the other players a reason for them to return, that is if they need to.
Other than that, if there's a scheduled time for a particular game when the players regularily meet I'll try to make those as often as possible. I'm pretty regular on posts, and I promise to try to make good conversation out of character.
I'm going to be throwing up some interest checks, but if you have a game that needs a slot filled, I'd be more than happy to take a look.
