When Frieza went to planet Vegeta to destroy it, the timeline shifted. Bardock, angry at the loss of his friends and the perceived betrayal of his King and people, charged at Frieza. When things looked most desperate, he let his anger consume him, and, to everyone's surprise, he became the stuff of legends, the legendary Super-Saiyan.

He formed the Vengeance Clan, and vowed to remove the Frieza clan from all worlds. After gathering a force, he began to systematically wipe Frieza's men from the face of the galaxy, though he allowed any who turned and sent a letter of resignation to either King Cold or Lord Cooler detailing the reason for their resignation to go free. Most believe he did this just to annoy those rulers. Unsurprisingly, most of Frieza's men who did leave the service immediately joined the Vengeance Clan.

Several years later, Prince Vegeta also managed to reach the state of Super-saiyan and killed his father, taking the throne. He also assassinated both King Cold and Lord Cooler, declaring that all their former territory now belonged to him. He declared the Vengeance clan traitors for not waiting for his command and for freeing worlds instead of turning them over to him, their rightful ruler. The VC was forced to flee.

Bardock took them to a world called Earth, where his son had been sent as a baby. There he found his son studying martial arts under an old pervert named Roshi. With Roshi's help and council, the leaders of Earth formed an alliance with the Vengeance Clan. They would protect Earth from all threats against her, and in exchange Earth would give them supplies. Earth also formed the Earth Defense Force to train its own military. Eventually, the VC managed to protect a planet named Namek against a Saiyan Empire invasion, and they also signed a similar agreement with the VC.

Many years have passed since Vegeta turned on his own people, but a few days ago the Prince of the Saiyans, the young Prince Trunks arrived to meet with Bardock. He promised to give the VC everything he knew about the Saiyan Empire and its forces in exchange for them rescuing his mother, an EDF engineer by the name of Bulma that had been capture and turned into Vegeta's concubine. She is pregnant with his child once more, and he can't risk his sister becoming a pawn of his father the way he and his mother are.

The VC will send a group under the Command of General Gohan, Bardock's grandson, and Captain Piccolo, Gohan's Nemekian mentor. The squadron will arrive on planet Vegeta in stealth pods and rescue the captured woman. The mission won't be easy, though. She is guarded by both General Nappa, a Super Saiyan, and Princess Beit, also a super Saiyan and heir to the throne.

I'll need someone to play Piccolo, Nappa and Princess Beit, as well as other people to round out the squadrons. I don't care what race you are as long as you have a good explanation for being there.

Alternatively, we could use instant transmission to get there. Also, Original characters are needed to fill out the ranks, but the characters from the show are pretty open for changes, as it's a different universe. Beit isn't a show character either, so they are completely open. Make them a boy if you want.

I'm considering allowing minor god-modding, in the form of moving character in battle. They wouldn't be able to hurt you, but throwing you into a mountain and following it up with a Ki attack would be fine. You would then get to decide whether it actually hurt you or if the Ki blast even hit. I think it would give it a more fast-paced DBZ feel than the usual ("I threw a ki blast". "I dodged and punched." "I dodged and punched back.") Way a lot of RP player battles go. We could also set up a titanpad for the battles, but then we'd have to both get on at the same time.

Special Traits: Most assume that Hercule's accomplishments on the news are embellishments. What sort of mortal man could defeat the bandit king, Yamcha the Destroyer, in a single punch? Who could singlehandedly defeat the legions of Emperor Pilaf? Who could fight a Super Saiyan to a standstill with one hand tied behind his back? Of course, there is a reason Hercule can accomplish such great feats. He practices a fighting style known as "The Glorious Lion, Superstar of the Cosmos, Slaying Dragons With Its Claws And Crushing Demons in Its Jaws." This style forgoes the use of ki for ranged attacks, using it to empower brutal close-range combo attacks that hammer pressure points, paralyzing the foe and allowing for even more violent follow-ups such as the Dynamite Kick or Satan Punch.

Personality: Many would think that Hercule's overly showy personality and flowery technique names mean he's trying to cover up his weakness. This isn't true- he's just a big goofy kid at heart. He talks a big game, but never one that he can't back up- he's one of the most powerful Earthlings in history. He's friendly, personable, and willing to overlook differences to see just what kind of person one is deep down. It's how he befriended Majin Buu, after all. He's always seeking a worthy foe, but most humans and earth-dwelling monsters go down in a single punch.

Biography: A mysterious figure, Hercule's first fight that received major attention came during the Cell Games. To the surprise of everyone, the unknown challenger fought Cell to a standstill! Of course, eventually the bio-android beat Hercule into unconsciousness, causing him to miss the rest of the tournament. Though nobody seemed to know who he was, Hercule was well-known to small towns, villages, and crime-ridden neighborhoods around the world- he was the guy who would kill demons and monsters with a single blow from his Satan Punch. During the quiet years after the Cell Games, Hercule wasn't heard from often- he spent the time training.

Later, he would enter the World Martial Arts tournament... with each round lasting only a single punch. Though tested for performance-enhancing drugs, Hercule was found to be clean. This was his first (and, to date, only) championship. The next time he met the 2nd place winner, Spopovich, was when the rival martial artist fell under the sway of the evil wizard Babidi. Torn up to see a fellow martial artist sell his soul for power, he followed the Z-Fighters to face Babidi- and defeated Dabura with little effort. The fruits of his training since the Cell Games were readily apparent. He delivered a long speech about how strength comes from blood, sweat, and tears rather than cutting deals before flying off.

Later, he came upon a pink man-baby creature in the wilderness, becoming fast friends with the squishy pink beast. He was devastated when the death of Buu's puppy caused his new friend to go berserk, becoming Kid Buu. Though Hercule fought evenly with Kid Buu for a few seconds, the berserk gum-thing ran off. By the time Hercule caught up, his friend had become Super Buu, who overpowered Hercule nearly instantly. However, he was able to help restore his friend by performing the Fusion Dance with Goku- after all, the other Z-Fighters were either dead or absorbed. Together, the two formed a being powerful enough to go toe-to-toe with Super Buu. From fighting as Gokule, Hercule picked up the Kaioken and Spirit Bomb techniques.

cool. I was about to add Videl as a second character, but this works too. I was thinking that she and her dad had better durability than normal, as he took a hit from cell, trunks, and 18 and was only in pain from it, not killed.
We could always say she didn't get along with her dad, ran away when her mom died, and became Krillin's star pupil before joining the EDF. No one knows she's Hercule's daughter, until he starts having a problem with Gohan for dating her and challenges him to a duel.

Now, if we can only get some bad guys so we can start this.

Moves: Kaioken (has used up to x20, but never uses more that x10 in battle), Kamehameha, Kienzan (destructo-disk), Bukujutsu, Tienzan (solar flare)

Special Traits: Enhanced endurance: She is able to resist damage much better than a normal human, equivalent to someone ten times as strong as her, though it drains her ki at higher levels of strength difference.

Personality: Determined to be the best fighter she can, to protect the Earth against the Saiyan threat, as well as other threats. Often fights criminals or does other "hero of justice" type activities in her free time. The police don't mind, as there are many super-powered criminals around the world that the police can't handle.

Biography: When her mom died she blamed her father, believing that he could have stopped it but chose not to. When he started dating other women, she couldn't stand it any more, believing him to be dishonoring her mom's memory, and moved out. She flew to Krillin's Dojo and joined him. He found that she had a knack for Ki techniques and soon she had become his star pupil.
When she became 16 she joined the EDF using her mother's last name on the paperwork and quickly reached the rank of Lieutenant. After working with Gohan on a joint mission a few months before the Majin Buu issue, they fell in love with each other and have been dating since then.

• Saiba Rush: A High Speed combo of ki-enhanced claw slashes, punches, and kicks.
• Energy Shield: A shield that protects Zero from attacks as long as their strength is equal to what a person could handle 145 MAGS at most can use.
• Meteor Shower: Zero creates a ball of ki roughly the size of an beach ball that he throws in the air, at it highest point it stops moving and scatters into golf ball sized projectiles that rain down in a large area.
• Chase Shot: This is the weakest attack Zero has, but what it lacks in strength it more makes up in accuracy. The attack is a simple energy beam fired from either his right or left hand index finger that will keep following the opponent until it hits something

Special Traits: Acid: Like all Saibamen he can shoot acid from a gland in his head.

Personality: Zero is completely loyal to the Saiyan Empire as a whole even he doesn't agree with their goal to conquer planets and hates that normal Saibaman are nothing more than cannon fodder. That loyalty though doesn't necessary extend to members of the SE and if he feels that someone is nothing but a hindrance to the Empire, or that the death of someone who has pissed him won't affect the cause; he is happy to kill them.

Biography: Zero was supposed to be the first of a new more powerful generation of Saibamen created by the best genetic engineers under King Cold's control. Though the certainly succeeded at the more powerful part and had even managed to make him smarter and able to talk, he was still considered a failure as he lacked the intended innate loyalty to his creators. Because of this he became a guinea pig rather than the elite soldier he was intended to be.

After several month of constant experimentation in order to find out what went wrong the Sayian Empire attacked the research facility and killed the scientist in order to gain their data. As the original creators of the Saibamen and a race that respects strength they eventually offered Zero a chance to join them as a soldier.
