Daniel said turning quickly and began to walk with Harry to the next class. Three steps required to keep up with Harry's single, but Daniel still managed to be slightly ahead of Harry without much effort.

"You will be paired up. But first I would to see who you think you can beat. Pick someone who you think has less skill then you."

Letting out a small puff of air, the currently red-headed boy raised a hand. "Professore, you don't intend to just pit the front row against the back rows, do you? Because that sounds like the most likely outcome unless all the students with training decide to be brave and gamble on the others within similar rows. Even then, is it really a good idea to fight someone you don't know based on first appearance?"

Honestly, he didn't really feel like going up against anyone here. He didn't think he'd lose, not if he made up his mind not to, but even he know not to choose his fights poorly. Even if he had seen the powers the others possessed, that didn't mean that he fully understood how well they could control a conflict. Even with his most determined intentions, he didn't doubt for a second that anyone here could pull off a sneaky technique that would leave him flat on the ground with bruises for the next week. He also couldn't shake the feeling that maybe there was a second lesson concealed within those instructions...

Acquis looked straight at Roxy. He wanted to fight her and walked to her. He didn't think he was stronger than her, but he was intrigued ro figure out her abilities. "Hey, I figured I'd pick you for a fight, Not cause your weaker than me, I just wanna see how strong you are"

Nerva looked around at everyone in the room thinking about who he wanted to challenge. he looked at the instructor 'why not?' he thought, shrugging, he took a step forward and asked "are you an option, coach Hephaestus?"

Roxy studied that boy. She smirked at him. She knew that he could kick her ass. Atleast he could if she didnt use her abilities. That was one thing she had learned from her parents. You had to use the tools you had. The instructor hadnt told them that they couldnt use their abilities. "Alright."

Hephaestus laughed. "I am impressed that you think you are as skilled as I am. I may take you up on that. For now tell me who else do you think you could defeat."

Acquis smiled. If he had heard correctly, her power layed within Shadows. But what if the shadows weren't there? Firestorm, Huh? Acquis scanned the girl quickly. He didn't want to use the sword for this kind of fight because it wouldn't be fair. He then looked at Hephaestus. "So, what do we do once we picked out who we are fighting?"

"Bene." So there was a second lesson in the instructions. Looking around at the others choosing people to go up against, Felice scanned the room for an opponent as well. If surviving the fight itself wasn't actually the objective, he might as well just pick someone and try his luck. Since the options were running out, anyway, he didn't have too much opportunity to be too picky anymore. "Who's left, then?"

"I am left," Idor said walking up from the back of the class. "I am willing to be your sparing partner," the son of the chaos god said to Felice summoning his staff.

@Dcatanzaro682Harry slowed his pace to make it easier on Daniel. He pulled the water frog from Daniel's head and dispersed it back into the air. He said calmly "What you did was brave you went against someone you care about. That shows how much you love your sister that you would do something like that to protect her." He paused trying to think of something else's to say then continued "If you wanna talk I'll listen."

Felice gave the other boy a once-over before crossing his arms. "Tch! Fine. Might as well get going one way or another." He didn't care too much at the moment about whether he was actually stronger or not. They would fight when told to, and his main objective would be to just hold the floor until told to stop. Not too hard. Judging by the way the individual in front of him brought out his weapon before they were even told to take the floor, though, this guy seemed pretty eager.

@jorthonDaniel took a deep breath. "I wish Scarlet would just understand... Mom had always messed around with her powers and caused uncountable nations to fall and Scarlet..." Another deep breath. Daniel didn't know why he was telling a complete stranger stuff he can't even tell his sister but he didn't care. "As soon as dad found out about Scarlet's power he's had me running around cleaning up after her. If it wasn't a fox and a cat it was a hawk and a mouse or an eel and a tadpole." Daniel rubbed the back of his head. "I'm sure I can steel feel the electricity that thing had stored away. Well the point isn't that I need to clean up, but somebody always gets hurt by it, if it's not me it's a farmer or a priest and I... Sooner it later it's gonna be her. But all she does is turn her back on me. It happens every time, we're inseparable until she makes something else fall in love."

Harry listened quietly he was amazed how mature Daniel was for his age. He then said "She'll thank you for what you have done one day. Right now she just isn't aware of all you do for her. When she's older she will learn and be grateful that you are around." Aki looked at the classroom and continued "There's the class you gonna be alright when you head in there? Because seeing your sister might be rough."

@jorthon "I'll be fine, she'll just ignore me for three days and then we'll be back to normal. I'll just have to make sure she's fine up until then. And maybe the class might cheer me up a little" Daniel said ending a little more happily than the entire rest of the conversation with Harry. Daniel walked through the entrance to the class room and sat down next to Scarlet who just turned to listen in on the conversation to the person sitting next to her.

"I would like you and the person you have challenged to fight. No weapons and no powers. I want to see what your hand to hand skills are like first. We will test the other two over the next couple of days. You can use whatever method you feel most comfortable with. Try not to break each others bones though."Hephaestus instructed them

Felice almost gave a slight smirk at the instructions. If they weren't using weapons, perhaps that would give him a slightly better chance. "Would you like one pair at a time? I'm ready whenever."

Acquis smiled at Hephaestus instructions. Weapons or No Weapons, Powers or no Powers, it really made no difference to him. He had learned to survibe without any weapons or powers, so this fight could go either way. Acquis jumped up on a desk, shinobi style. "So Missus Roxy, Are you ready?"

But he guessed that he could just partner up with Daniel again.he knew some hand to hand combat but he was no where near a master at it. He looked around the room and spotted Daniel next to his sister. He walked over and said "Seems we need partner for sparring for today. You wanna spar with me?"

Hephaestus nodded. "Yes. I would like one pair at a time to go to the center of the room> Everyone else move to the sides please. This will allow you to see how everyone fights. It will also keep you from getting in each others way."

Roxy narrowed her eyes on the teacher. No weapons and no powers? She didn't have a lot of experience fighting without one or another. She didn't know why a god or goddess would need to But she didn't argue. Her parents would have her hide if she got into trouble the first day of school. "Sure. We might as well go first."She moved towards the center of the gym.

Acquis smiled. He hoped that he didn't have to use any lethal martial arts, all he would try to do is aim at her pressure points. Acquis walked to the center of the gym and took a defensive stance. "Well then Miss Roxy, shall we begin this Ballad?" Acquis said, as an excited expression appeared on his face. Deep Underneath, Acquis was kind of a battle maniac, this came along with him being a tactical strategist. Acquis was ready to fight, whenever she made her move.
