@Dcatanzaro682 That is the Percy Jackson "way". In greek mythology a couple of mortals ate ambrosia and drunk nectar but were either punished by the gods (e.g. Tantalus) or had been given it by the gods to become more godly (e.g. Heracles from Athena).

@Minimum Wasn't Athena born in Zeus' head. I'm pretty sure she just came out of her father's head at birth. That story might not be completely right but I know she is the daughter of Zeus. As for Hercules, I don't know the story about that. For all I know you could be right on spot with that one.

Yeah she was. Im not saying nectar and ambrosia made every god a god because most were the gods children and were already immortal. Heracles on the other hand was (from the information i have) born a mortal and later in life Athena supposedly gave him ambrosia when they made him into a god.

I am a little concerned about these two powers
'Photocopying reflexes' one of John's greatest advantages in direct combat is his ability to learn and copy his enemies' moves just by observing them.
'Blue Magic' the magical extension to his aforementioned reflexes, John can copy his opponents magic through mostly observation -though sometimes physical contact may be needed with the spell. Certain powers, as well as most deity-specific spells, are beyond his reach
"Mind Reading' In what is similar to telepathy, John can both offer and receive knowledge, feelings etc. from another person or deity. He can do so through cooperation or sheer force, though he latter can be countered by other gods with more power than him.

Just kidding, just kidding. Anyways, if you mind those, I can remove them. Or restrict them. Or keep them for God Form only. Or what have you- in fact, could you possibly think of a way I can balance those powers, but still keep as much of them as possible?

Yes I know we are talking about gods. However Photocopying make the school, especially the training, worthless to him. It would allow him to beat everyone no matter who they were. Mind reading would be alright except that if your not careful with it you could control another players actions. I am not sure that there is a way to balance them really.

@KatherinWinterWell... if I made the copying temporary? Like, he remembers a move for the next five minutes or half an hour or so, and then its gone?
Also, it is true that in his lore, John comes to the school of gods mostly for character development, to decide the path he wants to walk as a God. But I do agree that this ability would make conflict with others impossibly easy, and that's why I'm trying my best to balance it. But who knows, maybe a restriction can just pop up on the spot.
Oh, and as long as these powers are not yet referenced IC, can I start posting? My RP fingers are itching after a year of inaction XD
