Don't worry, it's super simple. First, get to your home menu, and select the little orange smiley face near the top of your touch screen:

3DS Home Menu

Then your information will be the first Mii on your list:

3DS Friends List

The 12 digit code under your Mii and name on the top screen is your Friend Code!
