Two SOLDIER agents sit operating a large control system, it's an old and a bit outdated but the two work like their is no tomorrow. That is because the control panel they are using is currently in control of a rouge Nuclear missile. The missile it self is also outdated, made sometime in the early cold war, though it was still able to do its job if launched.

BOOM! the structure shook. The two stopped working for a moment. "They're getting closer, we need to hurry." The first one said. He grabbed his side arm and walked to the door. "Grab they keys and get going, we don't have much time." The other SOLDIER agent stood up. "Take this." She handed him her side arm. "If he got through them all you will need it." He hugged her then grabbed the other pistol.

The Agent made it into the hallway, the pistols drawn. "Please be dead, please be dead." He knew that the pistols wouldn't do much in his case, but he could buy time. "Two minutes until thermal nuclear launch." The agent sighed. "Hurry up Fiona." He turned a corner to see what he thought looked like a zombie from the walking dead. Lined with remains of a camouflage uniform and a sawed off shotgun in its hand. It smelled like burnt flesh, charred, bones were visible as well. Though the agent was only concerned about a few bones. The teeth, the sharp ridged teeth of a predator. Vampire...

The almost dead thing spoke. "Yes Fiona, hurry." The burned vampire fired the shotgun sending the agent into the opposite wall. Hank stood over the figure, it lay motionless, Hank sighed and kept walking. He found the control room for the Nuke, it was locked. Hank was in bad shape, literally trying to hold himself together. He fired the gun into the door, it took the hit. Hank then using what ever he had left kicked in the door.

He walked in, the room was empty. "One minute until launch." Hank limped over to the computer and set down his gun. Fergus was right about one thing, Hank had no idea what to do here. He saw the key ignition though, as long as there was no key in it there was no way it could fire. Then he heard the sound of metal sliding on metal, with a heavy click in the middle. "Away from the console, Now!" Hank turned around to see a SOLDIER agent holding his own shotgun to him. "You are one stupid kid aren't ya? Fergus O'Brian the vampire that turned you is crazy, He's starting a nuclear holocaust! He was planning on killing everyone." She still held the gun, but less confident now. "I--" BLAME! A chunk of her head went as the first SOLDIER Agent shot one of his side arms into her skull.

Hank wiped off the girls brains from his face. The other man stood aiming the gun. "I really liked her you know, then you had to come around and corrupt her. Now she's dead because of you." "30 seconds until launch." Hank looked over at the ignition. "Ya that would work old man except that's the old computer, new one was installed over fifteen years ago." He smiled revealing his own teeth. Hank was unarmed, he had his bag full of explosives, but blowing up the place wont do much for him. May cause the nuke to launch now. Hank looked at the shotgun in the dead girls hands. "Go ahead, go for it and I'll blast your head too." "Fifteen seconds until launch." Hank out of reaction charged the new blood, he was still fast enough to catch him off guard. They fought for the two pistols, Hank was weak but he was still stronger then the new blood. He turned and forced the new blood to shoot out a collection of wires that left the console, then forced the gun to unload into the new computer. Hank didn't know it but with the damage caused the computer was forced to return to its original system, back to its original control with the two keys.

The two separated, Hank held one pistol, the new blood SOLDIER agent held the other. "You son of a bitch, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID?!" He raised his gun to fire, so did Hank. Both fired, Hank sending the silver bullet through the newbloods head, the new blood putting the silver bullet in Hanks chest as he fell out the window down the silo.

The bottom of the silo was... dark. Their were vents, some trash, a few dead bodies, and one vampire holding his guts standing over Hank "You shot me asshole, then sent me flying down a tube. Karma's a bitch mate." The newblood started to beat hank with a metal rode he found on the ground.

Mithias was growing anxious. The night was still young, but Bedivere had not yet appeared, and Hank was not where he should have been. Somehow, Mithias felt certain that his only creation was still alive somewhere, but where? Where would Hank have gone? The young blood was furiously determined to destroy Fergus, yet he also had wanted to save the world from nuclear war. Of course... Mithias knew the answer, like he knew Hank's heart when he drank him to death. Hank had gone straight for Fergus himself. Foolish hero. He took far too much after his maker. Fergus would probably most likely be at... the missile silo?

Hank was a bloody mess and getting the shit beaten out of him at the bottom of a weapons silo in the dark. The building had clearly been breached, and with all the commotion inside, nobody noticed Mithias basically walk right in. A few feldglings were still alive, although their heads were shot or badly damaged. They hadn't been decapitated or impaled through their hearts. Blown up was definitely dead though. They didn't seem much interested in continuing to fight, except for the one guy that thwacking Hank. Mithias casualy walked over with his hands in his pockets.

An unexpected hand suddenly grabbed the rod that Fergus' fledgling-minion had been using, and he turned around in alarm to see Mithias' piercing countenance glaring back at him. The fledgling stopped, utterly confused. "Who the hell are you?" But he was also afraid, because Mithias was clearly not a fledgling, and he staggered away.

Mithias took the rod. "Thank you."

The fledgling didn't need any further instruction, and limped off.

Mithias turned to Hank on the gound and nearly also beat him. Instead he gave the dad-stare of doom. "... You risked the fate of the world so you could achieve your petty vegeance? ... You were supposed to report to Soldier."

Hank smiled, the beating was done for now. Though Mithias seemed pissed off. Hank stood up. "You want an honest answer? Yes and no." His face was still recovering from the grenades he planted in Fergus. "What do you think the chances of SOLDIER believing me were? I mean how many Agents did I kill? How often did I fuck things up? A lot is the answer to both." Hank stopped, smiled and shrugged. "That and I wanted to completely waste Fergus." He looked over to the destroyed catwalk where the explosion took place, the wall was still scorched and covered in blood.

Hank looked back to Mithias. "So how's the war going? Is it better then in here?" Hank said in a joking manner pointing to the nuke. Then a realization hit Hank. "You know, we are still technically on different sides of this war, and the fact that you aren't a total dick makes that a complication." Hanks conversation with Mithias last time they talked gave Hank some respect for him. Though he will never forgive him for a few things, Hank saw him as a responsible.... Being.

So it seemed Hank wasn't all the worse for wear. He was thankfully not near death, or rather near going into a blood-loss coma. Mithias hissed a sigh and tossed the metal rod casually. His anger was already leaving him. "So you got him, and you stopped the nuke. I suppose I can't be angry." He put a hand on his side and ran the other through his hair before dropping his hand and looking back at Hank. "This war, as you put it, is officially over, and yet it will never end. As far as I know, you and I are the only ones left in this area. The soldier base has basically fallen, and vampires from the east coast will soon move in and take it over, but that does not mean the rest of the country is ours.

There aren't many supernatrals, Hank. Likely we will establish ourselves into localities, sending out special missions to keep the humans in the proverbial dark and away from invading our cities with their technology and armies, but I know we will not be able to keep them suppressed. We were foolish to ever try. Our elders have failed us... except perhaps one, whom we will likely never see again.

Trying to start another Soldier organization would be futile. Humans and vampires will never be able to work together, and no such organization will always resist corruption in either direction. You and I are on our own, Hank."

Mithias folded his arms and stared at him contemplatively. "It would be quite useful if you could convince Soldier, or whatever the humans have nowadays, to trust you as an informant. We are spies more than soldiers, My chi... my fledgling. We don't need to walk on black and white lines. It is time to regroup and recoup, and above all get some damn information. I can tell you that the United Kingdom may be a relatively safe place to hide, but I won't tell you why I know that. Other than that, I have a secret home in New York that may be usable.

You know that I can't read minds, Hank, yet I know that somehow, you found Fergus, and it wasn't just a good guess that brought you to him. You might be good at getting information with such gifts. What powers have you inherited?"

"Myself, I am going to fully undo Soldier by killing its leaders. I believe I know where they are hiding, and it shouldn't take long. After that, I'm going to do the same to the Purge. I will hunt and destroy whoever runs them, and I have a feeling it isn't Kaminokage." Mithias narrowed his eyes. "As... 'charismatic' as Kami is, he is not so inspiring that humans will fight beyond pain of death for him. There's someone else, or something else, some drug that makes Purge humans insane. There's got to be a secret way to take out that whole organization forever. I will find it."

Mithias started to explain the situation to Hank. He mentioned about the two of them being on their own now, maybe Hank acting as an informant for what ever organizations are left for the human race. Or a spy in basic terms. HE started listing safe places and talking about the corruption in systems. "A new SOLDIER would be a pain to work with, And if you start going around and killing the ones who fucked things up I'll turn a blind eye for now, though don't draw too much attention or we may ave some conflicts. As for a safe place to hide." Hank walked over to a dead Newblood and Yank out his axe. "People like me don't have time ti hide, I still have a job to do, it's just a bit different now." Hank was referring to hunting, though after going what he went through all the rules have changed.

Then Mithias asked what abilities Hank had been given. "Truth be told I have no fucking clue, I can beat the crap out of things, I hear voices which I guess is the mind reading crap, and I can't get drunk at all." Hank stopped and wiped his axe blade off. "Those voices I'm guessing are thoughts, could be useful if i could tell the thoughts apart from people talking, what they are directly thinking, random thoughts, and memories, memories are a pain in the ass when people think about them." Hank put away the Axe. "I get you have things to do, some situations I may be able to help with." Hank looked around the Silo. "Give me some time to deal with this missile and I can help you with Purge if you want. Shouldn't take too long to disarm this thing for good."

"Oh crap. BOMB!" A masked man yelled, jumping back from an elevator that had a large amount of Semtex explosives stocked inside on a time detonator. When he hit the ground, in his mind he counted backwards from 5, praying that it wouldn't take him. 5...4...3...2...1....bang.When the word bang finally crossed his mind, the bomb went off, sending him flying from the third story window to the streets below.
"Fucking Purge assholes. I will never understand them." the man growled as he stood, brushing himself off. "Better make sure they're dead. I know my team is, God bless 'em." He jumped, soaring through the air back into the hole he was blown out of. Once he landed he unholstered his Model 500's, and made short work of any living Purge operatives that remained at the scene. Five. Four. Three. Two. One. None.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nate closed his eyes, blinking the memory away from the forefront of his mind. He was in Kilo Point now, so hopefully things would be different, but this state does have it's presence of rednecks, so that's unlikely as it is. Then, a curious yelling broke him from his train of thought. "Lord Shane, huh? Must be good for business if they're calling him 'Magnus'." he mused to himself and followed the shouting man, not making a big deal about staying hidden. "Maybe this kid'll be my ticket to no more Purge hunting." he mused to himself sanguinely.

Vampire forces across the land were being decimated. Their leaders gone, their main forces taken down, they were scattered. Without the power of the Oldbloods backing them up they were unable to take down the armoured Purge forces. With Soldier and Purge working together, both forces could concentrate their full force on purging the vampires from society. Armies strode alongside each other, and while they never truly came to trust one another, Kami became known as a hero among SOLDIER as well, saving many lives. And despite his earlier reveal as a vampire, he retained the use of his suit, not showing his vampiric nature again.

Of course, there were elements within SOLDIER that were opposed to their cooperation. But the vampiric incursion had forced the authorities to ignore such naysayers. The purge were, after all, unparalleled vampire hunters.

A week after the battle that had revealed Kami's identity, Purge and SOLDIER forces had closed in on Oklahoma. For some unknown reason, the city had become the last resort for hundreds of vampires. They had fled to the city, overwhelming local defences, grouping from all over the country. This would be the last battle of the Night Wars, as the conflict between man and vampire had been called. Purge artillery slugged shells into the city, as walls of troops prepared to deal with the vampire horde that would undoubtedly storm forth from the city. And the battle ensued.

Fire and blade was exchanged, vampire might clashing against the inevitable tactical advance of the united forces of SOLDIER and the Purge, fledgelings being slaughtered by the heavy suppressive fire long before they were able to reach the front lines. It was a slaughter on a massive scale, an organized genocide. This was the fate of all vampires that had remained within the country, as their slaughter sparked a hatred within humanity. A hatred that would not die down for a hundred years. The fulfillment of Gabriel's predictions at the Council of Sire Kings.

Suddenly, there was a break in the fighting. The ranks of the vampires shot aside, as if being forced away by some invisible force. The ocean of bodies was parted, leaving a massive causeway, a single figure marching down it. Guns fell silent, as all eyes became focused on the vampire that slowly walked over the scarred grounds. The Purge immediately replied by charging him, only to fall to the ground. Seizures struck them, as they choked to death on their own tongues. A fearsome grip took hold of the minds of those present, as Gabriel smiled at them. The so-called Vampire God had emerged, and not a single bullet could touch him.

"You know, I liked this city. You blew up my favourite bar." He raises a hand, as ranks of humans drop to the ground unconscious. Their brains wiped by Gabriel's immense psychic force, like a wave of force traveling through the ranks. He crushed their resistance, and those that would be too hard to deal with simply died. He wiped their memories of the battle, leaving them to interpret it as they wished, and entire army conquered with by a single vampire. "They had amazing tequilas there."

In the history books, the battle would be remembered as a great victory. Those present never recalled most of the fight, but their mind filled in what they wanted to remember. The hundreds of dead vampires ascertained the belief that they had won, and it was recorded as such. The images that had been captured that day were kept from the public, hidden in the deepest archives of SOLDIER. Not a soul knew what had happened to Gabriel, nor the vampires that had been with him that day.

But there was no doubt that they would be back one day. When the world least expected it.

@Sheogorath Blood kept walking towards the town centre, scanning the area as he walked. Nothing that gave off a heat signature within his field of vision showed. He paused for a moment and turned around suddenly and swiftly, his arm blade broadside across his chest as a makeshift shield. He stared down at the man from behind his blade, his psychotic grin never wavering. He restored his vision to normal sight and looked him over. "Well, well. What do we have here? A snack that decided to follow me around and offer themselves up to me perhaps?" He spoke. "Or maybe..maybe..A COMPANY DOG HERE TO TRY TO KILL ME?" He bellowed, leaning down the tip of his blade near Nate's throat. He move his arm up, and ran the tip along his cheek making a small cut. "Well..Which is it? Or perhaps...you have information on one 'Magnus Shane'?"

His grin widened, whichever one it was he'd probably end up killing him regardless once he got what he wanted. It had been a bit before he last ate..after all..

"Yeah let's not do the eating thing. I'm a little bit on the not so tasty side. Too many prosthetics and the like in my body." Nate joked, sheepishly. He had a vampire infront of him that didn't seem to register exactly as vampire to him. "Actually kid, we both want the same thing. You want to meet this Shane, as do I. However your motives differ from mine. I want a contract with him. Some contract killing, as is my business. You vampires are really good for business as well, you always want some Purge zealot or some SOLDIER control freak offed, and being that I'm a human, I can get to them and off them without having to rip through a whole building to find them. They may be human, but their bodies racking up is great for business, and right now since that Lady Mo' is kickin' up a storm, business is booming. Understand?" Nate explained, hoping to convey the fact that he was indeed, not edible, and not on the menu.

"And kid, if a company dog wanted you dead, they wouldn't have gotten caught if they were smart...emphasize the IF."

Days went by, and for an immortal, it was almost no time at all. The world was almost unrecognizable, save for the fact that no matter what happened to it, the world was always a strange place to a vampire. The comforts of the past would never again be known to them, and war and trauma were their only familiar friends.

His vampire forces had been scattered. Bedivere hadn't showed up since Kilo Point. Mohowauuk was nowhere to be seen, nor was Magnus. The human, Martin, was reportedly dead much to Mithias' regret. The fledgling Ashilyn had also vanished, but a few of her progeny were still among the more powerful fledglings yet clinging to sovereignty. The only being Mithias had been able to keep in tough with was Hank, and he would be the only one that would know of Mithias' ridiculous and semi-desperate plan.

A great battle had occurred in Oklahoma city, where ranks of vampires had been decimated by the heroic and increasingly popular Purge and their crippled sidekick Soldier. Word had it that this was a prime recruiting ground for the human resistance, the perfect place for a stake out. As much as Mithias hated it, it was time to play theater.

In broad daylight, in Oklahoma City, a human with olive skin and long dark hair rode in on a motorcycle. He wore a long leather jacket, jeans, boots, and a faded t-shirt with the words "In God we trust" on the front. He looked Latino, or maybe half Asian because of his hair, and he was fit and broad shouldered like a military boy. The bike had a few guns, nothing expensive, and a locked black metal case.

No police pulled him over to check his tags as he pulled up to the church meeting place. He parked his bike with a look through his dark brown contact lenses at the surrounding humans that informed them of the consequences of stealing his shit. The few outside gave him a welcoming nod. Today was the day of a scheduled, semi-secret mass meeting, according to a flyer he had gotten a hold of only several days ago. Mithias approached the church and noted the Purge symbol spray painted on the side of the building. Approaching, two large door men non-chalantly step in his way. "Hail brother." They say.

"Hail brother." The vampire replies, his small silver cross apparent over his shirt.

The two pad him down for weapons, then wave him by. Mithias got in. he really didn't need weapons anyway. Now it was time to learn first hand what in hell these humans were smoking. By posing as a potential recruit, modern makeup hiding his skin's true color, Mithias would be able to see what went on underground that kept the Purge supplied with soldiers.

He went inside, the aura of the church doing nothing to him, thankfully. Images of Jesus and the divine hero Kaminokage adorned the back wall. A set of stairs spiraled downward into a large, lighted atrium. The ceiling arched up in back to an open window, where the sunlight streamed down dramatically to the center stage. People were gathered around. priest swung an incense burner around the stage and another occasionally flicked the audience with water. Mithias would make sure to stay out of his reach. An orator stopped up, beginning an inspiring sermon, if you could call it that, which incited many unified "Amen's" from the gathering.

"Who among you has not sinned? Who among you has not suffered? All who give their life in worship shall be forgiven! It it God who has plagued you with the vampires. You must believe in him! God will grant you the strength... Show your worth and fight!" On he went. men, women, and even the young looked up and cheered, lifting their hands, partaking in the ritual. Yet of course some where more reluctant. The sermon seemed to be harsh, demanding, cut and dry, and certainly terrifying to a vampire.

Throughout the spectacle, Mithias kept a watchful eye. Something was mesmerizing these humans, yet he did not see any drugs being passed out. No needles, no gas, no pills being passed around. Was it sheer inspiration that was making them so insane? Simple fanaticism? Not even in the days of the Templar did Mithias see such universally extreme self sacrifice. Mithias couldn't detect anything by air, yet it was like they all had a chip in their heads. he pulled up his hood and stood in a row of men in the back.

Then the surprise came. A vampire, weak and wounded, was brought in, tied to a post that was erected on the stage. The speaker went on about the devil and his children and pressed a cross against the poor bastard, letting all behold the dramatic burn. He was spat on, cursed, forced to endure the sunlight, and people one after another came up to the stage to burn him with their holy icons. They'd burn him alive, right here, this day.

"...you must begin your training now. To turn your back is to accept death and eternal hell. His grand holiness, the Pope himself, will come to bless you..."

Now that was an interesting piece of information. This "Pope" must have been a very important leader.

Out of the corner of his eye, Mithias caught a man trying to leave. Two bouncers in shiny shoulderplates got in his way and pointed him back inside. Certainly that wasn't the wise way out. Mithias could probably blur past them, but he didn't have his answers yet. he needed to know where this goddamned leader was.

As the vampire suffered, Mithias narrowed his eyes. He was going to have to watch him die.

@Sheogorath Blood twitched slightly at the mention of prosthetics, truth be told he wasn't sure what parts of him were normal or not. He lowered his blade to his side and sighed heavily. "Welll, that's to bad...I'd REALLY hoped you WERE here to kill me. It would have been fun momentarily.." he spoke. "It is..VERY hard to not get caught by me. Leave it to the Company to make a creation they couldn't control or outmatch."

He paused momentarily before speaking and finishing with a grin displaying most of his teeth "Now then, what information do you have on Magnus and this.. Lady Mo?".

Hank stood over a injured bloody figure on the ground. The two were inside an apartment that was torn to pieces. "You know Hank... Killing me wont stop them. Only piss them off." Hank just sighed. "I know that. But it will slow them down as I kill you off one by one."

She was speechless at first. "Why? Why would you do this to your own kind?" Hank grabbed his machete off the counter. "My own kind? I have no 'Kind'. I do what needs to be done to who ever it needs to be done to. And your 'Family' Has done things that requires me to do things to you."

Hank leveled the blade above her neck. "WAIT!" she screamed. "I can help you. I can help you kill them all, Just please, Don't do this." Hank smiled and shook his head. "You want me to trust you? You just tried to give up your own family to spare yourself, or double cross me. Either way..." He brought down the blade severing her head. "It's not good for you."

Hank made it back to a cabin in the woods that was left to him a few years prior by his grandfather. It was the closest thing Hank could call home. It felt nice, Though the war... It had... Changed a lot of things. Who he could trust, who he did trust, where he thought was safe, where he was actually safe, who he went after to kill, Who he had to kill. Everything was different now, Especially who he hunted.

This war pointed out to Hank that not all vampires are brutal killing machines. Many are just living in a world where they have to hide. And humans, though many are innocent, Some are worse then the vampires he would hunt. So now, he was more strict who he went after, but made no exceptions when the time came to do his job.

Hank had heard about Purge only a bit, But e knew something was off with them. He just didn't have the capabilities to do much with them until he had more information, and resources. Though the rumors he's heard is enough to investigate, He just needed to rest for now. By morning he'd be awake and ready to work. Ready to deal with the world, He just... needed time... just some time... to rest.

"As far as this Lady Mo', I only know what the news has been sayin' about her. She attacked the SOLDIER base here in Kilo Point with a couple of friends and she's supposed to be some kind of mother Earth Goddess Vampire thing, I'm still trying to wrap my head around it." Nate explained, before moving on to the second half. "Magnus Shane, like I said we're both in the same boat about him, I only know whispers, but even then those whispers aren't exactly the most reliable, given they came from transients and beggars. I've never met the man, you probably have. I wouldn't doubt it."

Nate looked warily at his new acquaintance, and sighed lightly. "So you know anything about this Magnus or are we both blundering around in the dark?" he asked, "Because if I'm going to be blundering around in the dark with someone I'd prefer them to have thermals or something so atleast one of us can see."
