Soreth looked into the mirror, a little impressed with how quickly she had gotten it. Tapping the glass with a single claw, he took a moment to take in some of the information before moving the image down the hall and toward a specific group of cells. Surely enough, a pair of tall demons with red and blue wings stood in front of it, one speaking to a guard while the other faced whatever occupied the cell. It seemed pretty dark past the bars, but a figure still remained somewhat visible. "Well, it's not anything big, and it does look kind of human-shaped. A lot of creatures can do that, though, so that's not saying much. Wonder why those two are dealing with it specially, though; that's not quite so normal."

Looking back to Wrenna, he retracted his hand and stepped back slightly, hand to his chin. "Those two are...kind of like supervisors to certain parts of the guard command, but they normally don't do this kind of thing. Usually, one of the guard captains is enough to manage this, or special operations deals with it on their own. So either this is a really special case or they just have no idea what to do with it. Which isn't that unlikely if it is a human." He shook his head. "They should have reported it by now, though. There are plenty of people with entry access who could have done so already."

"So...what's your take so far? I know that I'll probably have to go see whoever that is for myself eventually, so getting down there isn't entirely out of the question."

"Those are the two guards that almost caught me earlier..." Wrenna told Soreth when she saw the. "One of them almost caught me, I was hanging onto the chandelier above them. Thankfully neither of them looked up." She then listened to Soreth tell her how high up they were..."Well, those two could be involved because they're trying to find me, if that is a human in there." Wrenna looked closer to try and see...but it was impossible to tell for sure if it had a complete humanoid shape. It could also be another demon too with pitch black wings. "I can't really say I want to take a risk if I'm not sure the person is a human. Though I guess if you could find out, that would be good. And it doesn't seem like time is of the essence since they aren't doing anything harmful to him...yet at least. How long do you think it'll be before they ask you to get involved?"

"Honestly, they should have already done that. The only excuse I can think of is if they thought that I was still fighting, which would make sense, I guess..." The demon sat back down on the stool he had pulled up before. "If so, then they'll probably let me know shortly. Depending on what they think they're doing here, they might not ask me specifically to go down there, but there's no reason why I can't. If they don't say anything in the next twenty minutes, I'll just go to them." Looking down, he noticed that he still had the rest of his sandwich in his hand and shoved it into his mouth, waiting to speak again until it was completely swallowed. "If it is a human, and they did follow you, then what? What would you do about it?"

"Oh yeah, they don't seem to know where you are." Wrenna told him. "They think you're currently missing, but at least still in the castle cause of the doors. Unless thats a thing you can do outside of the castle." She added as she waited for Soreth to finish eating the sandwich. "I...I really don't know what I should do. I guess I should help then, but I don't know how I would...Hell, I'm not even sure if I could help them at this point."

"Ah, so that's why...I should probably fix that..." He reached back to the door to the studio and mumbled a couple of words to release his previous command, the door and the wall responding like before. "As for the doors, I'm pretty sure that I'm limited to the ones in here. Maybe there are a few doors outside the castle that would still respond to me like that, but I wouldn't expect a lot of them. They probably wouldn't recognize me the same way."

At Wrenna's response regarding the prisoner, nodded with a small noise of acknowledgment. "That would be pretty tricky, I suppose. Maybe not impossible, but perhaps not advisable. You'd have to do it alone, too; depending on what they did, my hands would probably be tied. I can't just let prisoners go for no reason without running into a lot of problems. If you could, though, for what reason? Is it just part of your job?"

Wrenna sighed, how could she answer that. "I...don't really think I can be The Hero anymore if I can't do the major thing I needed to do, and that's kill you...But, being The Hero was how I was raised. It doesn't feel right to just leave someone in danger if I can help them, even if that means possibly getting killed. My instinct isn't to protect me, it's to protect others. I...have to at least try to help who ever that is if they're human." She tried to explain. "I know it doesn't make much sense or is smart but neither has a lot of the stuff I've done lately."

Soreth stayed quiet for a moment, contemplating the response. "Well, don't get killed, at least." He mumbled, looking off to something at the side of the mirror. "But if it's instinct to do this, then there isn't much else to do, is there?"

Standing from the stool, and almost managing to fall over again in doing so, he started back toward the door with the intent of getting to the wardrobe in the bedroom. "I expect that they'll be here soon, but they'll knock, so you have time to hide somewhere if you want to keep out of trouble. I'd suggest going back to the kitchen and eating that other sandwich, personally." Finally reaching the piece of furniture, he leaned against it for a moment before pulling it open and searching for something acceptable to leave the room in. "Whatever you plan to do later, you can't very well do it without being informed, at least, so I would hope that you'd wait until I got back from this before attempting anything."

"No, there isn't..." Wrenna replied, she really didn't have anything else to do now that she had given up trying to kill Soreth. She started to follow him back into the bedroom, in case he were to fall like he almost did getting off the stool so she would be there to catch him. "I might just do that..." Wrenna replied when Soreth mentioned hiding in the kitchen. It was a good place to hide and Wrenna was really starting to get hungry now.

"Hey now, I'm neither ignorant or crazy. I don't want to do this unless I know everything I can, which includes weather whoever they have down there is worth risking my neck for. Even then it's not like I'm going to go rushing head first into danger to save him. I snuck into this castle and I can fully well sneak out, with company or without." She told him as he started to look for a different attire to go out in.

"Glad to know. Not every hero has that much sense, you know." The boy quirked the edge of his mouth up a little at the assertion of her intentions, though he didn't look back to face her just yet. "Still, I'm not so sure about sneaking out at this point. Not when they're on high alert over intruders, anyway. You could try if you want, but that's on you."

Eventually pulling out a reasonably formal shirt and trousers along with a belt, he turned back around to go place the cloak on the bed. "Did I leave my boots over by the-- No, they're over here. Never mind. I'm going to get changed before they get here, so...yeah."

"Not every hero that makes it past their first big fight that is." Wrenna agreed. "As for sneaking out...well I was going to ask you when would be the best time to do so. Your doors might help, if you'll still assist me with that much when its time for me to go." Wrenna watched as Soreth finished pulling out clothes from the wardrobe before telling her it was time to change. "I have a sandwich calling my name." She told him before turning to go back into the kitchen. Wrenna quickly sat down once inside and the door was close and started eating. The food helped her relax, a full belly had that kind of effect on her after all. It helped her start thinking of the possibilities...which quickly started to undo any sort of relaxation that the feeling of eating had given to her. Being the hero, or trying to do one portion of the hero's job was a lot more stressful then her father had ever told her. But then again, Wrenna was beginning to think her father was just as crazy as people had originally told her....

Soreth looked over to the door with a slightly sad look when it closed. He knew how unlikely it was to hope...but it was a matter for another time, anyway. Turning back to the bed, he changed into the new outfit as quickly as possible, clipping the belt and starting to pull on his boots just as a knock came at the door. With a slight sigh, the pale boy tugged the second boot on and stood, picking up the cloak. "Enter," he commanded as he flicked a hand at the door.

Another tall demon opened it, taking only a few steps inside the doorway before bowing and giving his report. "Sir, there is a matter that requires your attention. Masters Eizomur and Elzamir are waiting in the dungeons with a recent intruder. They were quite adamant that you meet with them as soon as you are able, sir. I believe it's another one from the Red Dawn Brigade."

Adjusting the cloak back on his shoulders, the young demon king turned to approach the guard. "We shall go immediately, then. Take me to them." Exiting the room, he locked the door behind him and followed down the hall. Unfortunately, he seemed to forget to lock the door of the art studio as well, leaving it ajar as it was when he had first entered the room earlier.

Wrenna had just about finished the sandwhich when heard the outside door open. She went over to Kitchen door and listened to the outside conversation. Wrenna waited till it sounded like everyone was gone before slowly opening the door to see if it was safe. When she found that the room was empty, she opened the door and walked out. She looked around the room a bit, wondering if she should just go back into the kitchen and hide there till Soreth got back, but then she noticed that the art room door was open...she could scry! She quickly made her way into the room and to the mirror, touching it and trying to do what she remembered Soreth doing and telling her to do. Slowly a picture came on the screen.

It took a while to actually reach the dungeons, between the actual distance and the pauses Soreth had to take every now and then. Not wanting to delay for very long, though, he only stopped a couple of times for a few seconds each. There was still a slight dizzy feeling present from before, but he tried to ignore it for the time being. When they reached the stairway leading down to the destination, a couple of the other guards joined them before they began their descent.

The dungeons were pretty dark, only a few torches here and there illuminating some of the space. The guards who patrolled these areas were mostly demons that had more nocturnal tendencies and good low-light vision. Anyone attempting to escape would be more likely to find one of them before the exit. Though even the young demon king had to be somewhat cautious walking around down there, the darkness gave him another advantage; it was a lot more difficult to be seen properly.

Finally reaching the area where the captive would be, Soreth stayed back for a moment and waited to speak with the two red and blue demons. Once informed of their king's arrival, they left the front of the cell to speak with him, bowing deeply before they began. "King Dizoralth, we apprehended this intruder near the Great Hall. He was reportedly seen with two others, but we are still making certain of their location at the moment. They may still be inside the castle somewhere." The red-winged demon explained in a monotone voice, followed by the blue-winged demon's similar-sounding tone. "We haven't been able to obtain much information from him yet, but he was carrying this. We have reason to believe that he is with the group known as the Red Dawn Brigade." The demon speaking presented a short piece of fabric, just large enough to tie around one's arm, should they not be too well-muscled. Stained into the fabric, only just visible in the small amount of light provided by one of the torches, was a symbol featuring half of a red sun.

Since Wrenna didn't know where in the dungeon that Soreth was going to end up, she just focused on him. She watched him slowly make his way down dark, dank corridors with his generals until they finally stopped. she cursed slightly that scrying didn't allow for sound to be heard as well as she couldn't read their lips in the low light. she could make out a few words sure but nothing that would give her much information. Thankfully one of the generals did pull out something...some sort of bandana from the looks of it, and if she wasn't seeing things, there was a half sun on it. The demons seemed to think this was pretty important, but she herself had no idea what it meant...Ugh, she hopped Soreth learned all that he could soon because she wasn't getting as much as she would have liked to this way...

After a bit more discussion with the two, Soreth finally approached the cell himself. As the guard nearby moved back slightly, the younger demon leaned forward and reached for something in his pocket. "Can you hear me? Do you understand why you're here?" His voice felt a little different in his throat, though it didn't sound very different to him. "It's rather unfortunate that you've ended up in this position here. I'm afraid you may be here for a while. Still, if you're willing to help us a little, we might be willing to go easy on you for your transgressions." Holding up the cloth in his free hand to where there was a little more light, he continued. "There was an odd piece of fabric on you when you were captured, wasn't there? Tell me, what is it?"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After over a half hour of questioning and discussion, the tired demon finally found himself heading back down the hall he had come through before. He could hardly wait to get back to his room, though he tried not to stop too often on the way. When he eventually did make it back to the living quarters, he dismissed the guard before walking the rest of he way back to his door on his own.

Wrenna thought listening to her father spout the same prophecy again, over and over again to people was boring. No, not being able to listen in as Soreth questioned a guy (she was presuming it was a guy. The gender of the captured individual had never really been stated where she could hear it...)that she didn't know what he looked like nor could see him. Hell! At this point, Wrenna was still unsure what species this person was. No, listening to her father had been boring. Watching Soreth silently interrogate was boring and frustrating. She thanked the gods when Soreth finally got done with the questioning and headed back to his room.

She waited till he was inside, then scryed a bit around the outside of the door to make sure no one would come in, before coming out. "Okay, what do you know?" She asked him quickly, ready to hear his vital information that would affect the next few hours for her.

Soreth almost jumped when Wrenna opened the door, not having expected her to leave the room. He looked around the area as frantically as he could at the moment, though he could see no one else around. "Careful! There's no telling who could just show up!" Since there was no immediate danger, though, he just sighed and returned his focus to the question. "Not as much as I'd like to... The guy is human, that much is true. There are two others of species we have yet to confirm, but we kind of doubt the entire group was made up of humans at this point...Can I lie down? I might not get much of a choice in a minute."

Even though he had asked first, he had already started moving toward the door to open it, not forgetting his earlier goal. "Ah...I guess he was part of that weird what's-it-called... It's not a cult, it's more like... Well, I might have called it a cult earlier, but that's probably not accurate..."

"Don't worry, I looked around before coming out. There's no one around your door so I should be safe out here for awhile." Wrenna told him when he warned her about the danger. She really wished that scrying had been on her father's priorities things to have her taught, then she could have just carried a little mirror with her to always be able to check the surrounding areas for danger. Well it was never too late to learn fully as long as she stayed out of danger for however long she could...

Then she finally got the news she was looking for. "..So...he's human...and he's not alone." Hm...if he wasn't alone, the others could save him, which meant that Wrenna didn't exactly have to act right away. "Oh, here." Wrenna said when he asked if he could lie down. He looked like he was about to fall over...She took his arm again and helped him to his bed.

"Explain to me what he's with..." Wrenna asked. He called it a cult and was having trouble to call it something else, so his organization might not be part of the church, and while her father was considered a heretic by quite a few church officials, Wrenna was hailed as the hero of legends by the church none the less. So she doubted a cult would really follow her. Then again, it would have to depend on the cult.

"Ah, thank you." Soreth flopped over on the bed as soon as he got to it, taking a moment to just enjoy not standing up anymore. "Mm! That's loads better. I might just stay here if I can...maybe they won't find the others..." He shoved his boots off of his feet and grabbed one of the pillows to hold closer to his chest before he remembered that he had just been explaining something. "Oh, they call it The Red Dawn Brigade. It's some kind of group that's been showing up a lot around the kingdom lately." He closed his eyes as he hugged the pillow, yawning a bit. "I don't really get them. They seem to think that they're some sort of army? But we can't seem to figure out if they work for another group then, or if they just operate on their own. They keep going on about weird things like some kinds of myths they seem to think are real and such, but the people from the group that we've apprehended in the past have been oddly secretive about most of the useful details. I can't believe a group of them actually got in here..."

"Hmm...So these humans are seen in Demon territory often then?" Wrenna asked after a moment of thought. "I was under the impression that humans didn't really fit in this territory well..." As in humans were killed or at least captured in this territory. Either this group was good...or they knew enough demons that could and would shelter them. "I'm not too sure about saving him now..." She told him. There was religious reasons to start with. Not that she was overly religious but religion and anything cult-like did not mix well and she didn't want to end up in a fight with someone she was supposed to be saving. then there was the chance that she could get caught up in their mess as well. She was not about to be messing up one prophecy and then forced into another one. But it was too soon to give up on a rescue mission entirely. She was about to ask what they were going to do to the guy when she noticed just how tired Soreth looked..."You need rest." She told him. As soon as she said that, she noticed she was tired as well..."Is there a place I can sleep as well?" She very much doubted she would be getting a bed, but well, she was far too used to that.
