@Pilot231Dani decided to just speak up since there was a bit of murmering and her hand was about head level, so her chances of being seen were slim. "Right, are we finding out just before the battle, or as we're moving out to set our gp bases, since teamwork is usually functioning best with communications and planning before hand so teams can co-ordinate their movements and builds." she asked him, curious as to how he was expecting them to do well. "And will the teams be randomized before each battle? or will we keep our teams?"

@mcpop9Satsuki answers: "You'll know your opponents before the system starts up. Also, there will only be one battle to worry about."

3v3 didn't bother Alexis, she'd been in a few prelims that used that format, so the idea of working with strangers didn't bug her as much as it seemed to bother some of the other students.

"We gonna beable to use our 'mains' this time or we gonna have to use the ones we built here again?" Alexis asked. Wing Zero was fine if she had to use it again, but she really wanted to break out Exia for this.

@Lunar TemplarMinako answer: "Any Gunpla model you have will be allowed for the battle, from what you made in class to your own personal models."

"Why the sudden change?" Sakuya asked out loud it was a interesting change one she didn't mind but she did not want people to slow her down. "Look I been in the championship and reached the semi finals and a bit afterwards won a few others but it is still a sudden change. So why?" Still if anything it would prove to be a interesting match if anything. Though she forgot one thing as she made her outburst she was still wearing her signature zeon jacket and sadly her white mask fell out of her bag. People were not idiots they knew who she was as soon as the mask hit the floor. Than all of a sudden she was getting the same looks as Alex one of hunger and atrophy they wanted to test their might on someone strong others just wanted them so they could do all the work. "hmmph whatever the choice I wont back down from a challenge let me be the first to draw the lots than." Sakuya stated her personality doing a complete change her voice was cold and her face showed no emotion as she walked towards the machine ready to pick her lot.

Alexis just shrugged and chuckled at the people giving Sakuya 'that look' and followed her up to draw her lot afterward.

Sakuya being some kinda super star didn't bother her, or even put her in that 'I gotta fight her now' mode every one else seemed to be in now. She and Sakuya would dual, eventually, but she was more interested in getting this over with so she could go pick up her new kit, or kits, if they had both she saw no reason to not get both. Ether way she want to get that all sorted out since that battle wasn't for a while yet.

Walking up to the Haro themed machine she quickly waited for her number to show. She did all this before but she hated the times when she was forced to wait as the machine always had to flash and all that jazz before grabbing her number. Showing the number G1 to the teacher and went back to line. She had better things to do than this still she supposed she wondered what exactly waited in this three on three battle.

Alexis stood in front of the the machine and waited for her number, which, made her snicker a bit, as it was G6. Nothing like getting a number that's also an over priced car. With her number gotten she hopped off stage and walked off to the side, and waited a bit to make sure they where done and she could tend to other matters.

Ball Guy proudly walked up the stairs to the machine, feeling all eyes on him. He yanked the lever as the machine randomized his number. It stopped on B2. Ball Guy turned around and snapped his fingers into a pointing position at the crowd before leaving the stage.

A few people after Ball guy was Kasumi. Some people had seen Ball Guy come and go these past few days but were unsure who he really was. (Though his identity couldn't fool the instructors, but they rolled with it so they wouldn't upset Rou). Kasumi was still in some Kimono robes that she wears when she's out practicing with her wooden Katana, and with the sudden announcement, she couldn't get enough time to change out of them and into her usual cloths. She stands in front of the machine and pauses before turning the handle to activate it. One of the students was about to shout to her to hurry up. As the machine whirls, the combo: M9 came up. Interesting since the combo was also the name of a side arm, though she fights with a sword. After accepting the card, she turns to the instructors, bows, and heads off stage for the next fighter's turn.

Dani rolled up onto stage. It wasn't anything negative against her other than a few people complaining and commenting rather silently about how she could possibly be on their skill levels with her disability. she ignored them and turned the handle on the machine. She waited as the machine spat out O2. "Guess i'm going to burn, like a star or flaming wreckage is to be determined..." she stated before heading back to the crowd.

Alex was one of the last few to come up to take a turn and get a card. As he's crossing the stage, he could hear whispers from the other people. Though it was kinda hard to make out, he felt like they were talking about getting a chance to stomp the champ. He gets up to the machine and stares at it for a bit. As he reaches out, he could feel a strange aura, as he would call it, from the crowd. He turns his head slightly to be able to look behind him, and it nearly caused his heart to leap out to see so many glares at him. He quickly turns his head back towards the machine and shivers a bit.

Alex tried to calm himself down: "No need to worry. No need to worry. They're in the same situation i am in too. Just got to handle it when the time comes. Alright wheel... don't let me down!"

Alex turns the handle and the machine whirls, till it finally stops at the combo, A5. The card is spit out and Alex takes it. As he walks off stage he thinks to himself: "Maybe it would have helped if I imagined them all in their underwear... nah."

As the last people got their tickets, everyone was back off stage. Satsuki speaks up: "Alright, did everyone get a card? Great." The machine is retracted back under the stage as the monitor lights up, showing all the listed combos that were given out. They are then shuffled around at fast speed until each one is showing "??" in groups of 3, just across from another group of 3 "??".

Minako then announces: "Tomorrow, you will all be told to which room to go to, but each one separate so you don't share where you'll be with the others."

Miles then speaks up: "So until then, everyone is free for the rest of the day to prepare up their models. A shuttle bus will be ready again to go to the store if you need parts, and battle systems will be available for practice against the computer only."

Satsuki finishes up with: "That will be all. Good luck everyone, you are all dismissed."

Some of the students scattered out, talking about what they'll be doing. For Alex, he just sighs and says to himself: "I'd be more excited if i knew who i would be fighting alongside with." He sighs before heading out.



As the instructors were leaving the room and now out of earshot from the students, Miles asks Satsuki: "Are you sure about this? Think they'd be mad if they knew about..."

Satsuki interrupts: "It's likely they would be, but i feel that come battle time... they would not ask for it any other way."

"Wow... never realized how much this institution hates total freedom... first classes that don't let you experience core gunpla and now we can't fight against humans... lame..." she said out loud, then looked around, rather disgusted by the fact people didn't like alex for his past. she folded her arms and humphed, the chair rolling out to the bus. She boarded it and waited to see if anyone else would join her in an adventure.

Alexis, seeing the bus waiting darted for it once that drawing was over. "Hey Dani" She said when she saw Dani was on the buss as well, and decided to sit, sorta, next to her. "This next 'test' is gonna be annoying, to much can go wrong with 'blind' 3v3 like this." Alexis mused "Hopefully, we'll get lucky and we won't get stuck carrying our teams. So, what cha heading into town for?"

Seeing as the whole assembly of sorts was done Sakuya decided to pick up a few new models she had a idea that hit her after the battle with guntank. Heading out to bus thinking on the many models she would be buying she couldn't help but let a smile hit her face many people buy their models in sets or when they can she preferred in bulk so she can start right away with her ideas rather than do a few at a time. Getting on the bus she saw both Alexis and Dani on board grabbing a seat across the isle. She looked over and put up her things it was kind of odd that they were there as well but at least start a conversation. "Hello Alexis, Dani" Sakuya spoke as she waved slightly to them.

A blind 3 on 3 battle. Who would Alex fight along side with? Who will be his opponent? Anything is possible. Best to get set up. In the workshop room, Alex was at one of the desks working on his personal Gunpla, the St/AGE-1 Star AGE Gundam. Over the past few days, the quality of the model was beyond what he could have accomplished alone. He had Dani and her coaching to thank for that. Pannel lines marked well, paint air brushed on instead of put on with a paint brush at the right quality, and the damages done before repaired, like it was a brand new model. He had a chance to try out his model and noticed that the performace was increased nearly tenfold... but he was not used to the loss of resistance and slower movements he had before, so he had to get use to fighting with a better quality model, one that would...

Alex twitches and turns around shouting: "Why don't you all take a Picture? It will last longer!"

Several students who were right behind him, examining his model were startled and bugged out very quickly. No doubt people who want to get a chance to see what he'd be using. Alex face desks himself and wonders if all the new adjustments to his partner would make him ready enough for the battle. He couldn't understand why he was so worried about a battle now than he was before he won the tournament. But before he could continue thinking, a familiar voice got his attention.

[FerriteFox]

Ball Guy rested a hand on Alex's shoulder. "Do not fret, friend. Those who strive to harass others for their accomplishments have none of their own." Ball Guy pointed to the Star AGE Gundam. "Your partner is looking well these days. I trust you're really learning what Gunpla encompasses?" He squatted down to Alex's level. "Gunpla is an ever evolving hobby Alex. Whether you're a creative and resourceful builder, or a daring and brave fighter, there is always room to rise further upwards." Ball Guy clapped Alex on the back once more.

[Lunar Templar]

"Hey Sakuya, whats taking you into town? Parts for a project, or just a new kit for the sake of a new kit?" Alexis asked after giving Sakuya a little wave. "More over, what you guys think of this blind 3v3 non sense? Personally, I think it's dumb. Teaming with rando's, and rando's we won't know about till the fight starts is not good for team synergy." Alexis said. "Case in point, there was a blind 3v3 in the US circuit a couple years back I was in. I ended up having to carry the team cause they where to busy not fighting." Alexis said, slightly annoyed by the memory.

@FerriteFoxAlex was caught off guard when he was pat on the back and notices who was talking to him: "Ball Guy? Well, they weren't really harassing me, at least i think they weren't. I don't know. Maybe I'm just thinking about it too much. *He picks up his Gunpla* I just remember when it was fun to play Gunpla Battle."

[FerriteFox]

"Alex, every day has its ups and downs. What you make of them is your choice. If people judge you before they battle you, that's their loss."

Ball Guy stood back up. "I know one thing. Should we meet on that battlefield tomorrow, friend or foe, your champion status means nothing to me. All I request is that you give it your all, with fellow builders and fighters who are doing the same, and you'll find your fun."
