Land of Origin – From the far north, yet has a rather Slavic accent.

Personality – Gerhard is a man of staunch patience and determination. Always wearing a hearty smile and giving friendly handshakes. He is a man of extreme manliness and glorious facial hair. Often acting as a fatherly figure or advice giver, some may see him only as a mountain of muscle, yet there is an intense thoughtfulness within him. Often does he lose himself in ancient memories and love for nature. With his rather strong willpower the curse has yet to break his warm heart, though the slipping feeling into the abyss draws ever nearer.

He is at the very core a manly man, one who would sooner sacrifice his own life to save those less fortunate. Though he cannot exactly recall why that decision has been made. A deep love for all life is heavily rooted in his psyche, and it shows through his travels.

Arsenal – What more is needed than his mighty muscles? Often wearing a white button up shirt, connected to green slacks by suspenders.
Magical Traits – Gerhard has little magical potential, though a few miracles are known to him, force being the most prominent.

Biography – Before making the great and arduous journey to the convoluted land of Lordaran Gerhard recalls scant details hidden behind the encroaching walls of fog in his mind. Though seemingly the most important to him was the fact that he was some sort of performer in a grand circus. Most likely being a strongman before stricken and outcasted as undead.

There are bare traces of people who loved the man, though they are well obscured now. His departure from his homeland was not one of anger and hatred, but one of grief and regret. The strongman has seen it before, he knows that all undead must make their pilgrimage to the great land that is called Lordaran. And the journey was surely difficult, likely as he traveled further his mind began slipping away. But Gerhard knows who he is, or at least well enough. He is the man that will end this vile curse and save all those afflicted, that is his word!

Well I hope you are still searching for more people, if not, oh well. Cobbled this together because I am very interested! Hope it is good enough.

Highly considering scrapping Mardrin. After finishing my intro post I realized how difficult it is to write about someone who fights with tentacles and not make it sound like tentacle rape is imminent in every situation. I can have another up in a jiffy after work; would you mind Leslie?

YO! I have been away from this site for an age and a half and came back to find a Dark souls RP 'just' starting from the looks of it... Are you still accepting or was my timing just a little too late? I adore dark souls stuff.

And on a side note, are things from Dark souls 2 accepted [in terms or equipment and spells [not counting the legendary 'some super awesome powerful dude probably invented this one of a kind spell that somehow everyone HAS!' spells]... things like that?]

Shoryu you are still welcome to join! You can use stuff from Dark Souls 2 but just try to consider that Drangleic came long after Lordran (At least that's my interpretation; yours could be different) so be mindful of which equipment you use.

Also I'm glad you'r excited Unraveller. In truth I'm quite happy that this roleplay seems to have brought in moderate group of passionate people. I have to be honest; i've never done this before and I'm still somewhat thinking of how we are going to play this out. I'm just wondering little things such as: how do we deal with boss fights? Should we add in extra fights? Should we all travel as one party or split to obtain different objectives? Who will antagonise the group and make it harder for them to progress?

The last question is somewhat answered now that Indian has made a Dark Wraith. He and the NPC Caitlyn could probably constitute as a "problem" if we start finding NPC's gone hollow everywhere. That's another thing I want to keep from the games. NPC's don't have plot armor, and while having them alive and healthy offers the benefit of trading and learning new information about Lordran, if someone murders them or steals their humanity then they are gone and the roleplay will shift based on that. In my head I have little mini-quests already planned out for a few of the NPC's that I think would be fun if the cast ended up exploring them. Or you know maybe we just end up murdering them for their sweet sweet loot, who knows?

Very hyped up for this. If you were remaining religious to the universe it would be too difficult to write in. In my opinion, all those questions you posed should be hashed out here in the OOC, if you feel there's a discrepancy.

And I sure am glad that you've decided to take the time of day to create this! I understand that GMing can be difficult, especially if you're rusty or haven't done it before. Hopefully this'll be that experience that will vastly improve the skills you already have.

I agree that staying completely akin to the sourcr would be difficult, thus I encourage anything you feel necessary to be addedn. Whether that be different areas, altered story, or who knows, a third bell for whatever reason! Good luck.

Woo! I'll crank out a character sometime this afternoon. Also, I would have responded much sooner, but the new site setup fooled me into thinking there hadn't been a reply yet, I've gotta get used to the 'tabbed threads'.

And I believe our interpretations of the timeline are similar! I remember watching some convincing youtube videos clarifying speculatory evidence that made lots of sense.

So basically, no 'one of a kind' or 'legendary' items, none o that boss armor or spells, or things that couldn't have existed back in the days of Lordran.

Also, DAMNIT! Am I the only one who still can't bring myself to murder that lovable oaf of a sun bro?!

Oh hey, I just finished reading through all of the OOC posts so far :D and i felt compelled to comment on 'this' for some reason...

The trick to fighting with tentacles is to develop the understanding that no matter how much T.R. there might 'be' out there to give them the Stigma, There's always innocent little tentacles being looked down upon while they aren't being evil or lewd D:

Unless of course there were far more creatures lurking behind ever corner. Though that could make combat more repetitious. I feel splitting groups up would be logical, though GMing for two or more different groups at the same time could become confusing. What about some people staying at the shrine in order to rest or something to that effect? Just some thoughts, though I could be completely inept at this subject.

I actually 'was' wondering why there weren't more enemies around XD I figured either most of them had 'eaten' eachother for humanity long ago, or it's just because it's set to be doable by a single person.
