[OOC] Scientific Team for Exploration and Mechanics research company (S.T.E.A.M research. co.)

(NOTICE: this has nothing to do with code name STEAM, this role play is an original idea with a similar looking name.) Hello welcome to S.T.E.A.M Research company, a role play where in you are an explorer trained on a spaceship that was sent to look for life on other planets after the apocalypse, or to even one day return to earth, (you will be given a choice on what planet to go to.) Your story begins when you, the explorers, are given an assignment . There are three groups. Your group shall decide out of these three planets, where to go:
*Earth
*OT-473
*Iendrax-189
the first few people who join shall decide our destination.

Rules:
You can not force another character to partake in an action just because you hate their character( i.e. bob kills himself).
describe your character when you join the group make sure you balance strengths and flaws.
most of the situations are solved through logic and interaction, but, in the rare event luck is involved, I will roll a D6 (six sided die) to determine the outcome.
1=miserable failure, the situation is worse now.
2=failure, but in certain cases, you can try again
3=barely succeeding, minor mishap
4=success
5=great success, bonus benefit
6=overshoot. you did it so well that you unintentionally caused a bad thing

@hiddenleafguy It's not a big deal I'll fix it right Away. but Since you got me on the apocalypse, here we go: Earth was left many years ago due to several bad things all happening at once. The air quality had worsened due to massive amounts of pollution, so bad that you needed a gas mask to even head outside. Naturally the climate went out of whack due to that. But before that all happened, there was Mutant outbreak that was caused when the human test subjects (that where tested to see if they could survive without the protection necessary for humans, and basically where intended to be superhuman, but as the saying goes:the road to hell is paved in good intentions) on got an addiction to the chemicals, Consumed copious amounts of the stuff and basically are now the last things on earth That could live in such harsh conditions, and the rest is history, however since it has been at least a few thousand years and humans gained a foothold From Planet hopping and living on a massive self-sufficient mothership that holds at least about a billion people, with smaller ships to explore more planets. and now that brings us full circle . you are now ready to embark on your first exploration mission.
