"So, you're the mysterious advisor," Rowan said. "It's Bessie. We might have been said to have been getting along well. That was, until she asked where I came from. I slipped up, and used a euphemism for hell, and somehow she caught it. When she confronted me about it, I denied having anything to do with fire and brimstone, so she simply felt lied to. Now the distance between us grows. I can't just apologize, as I would have to apologize for something. If I change my story now, I'll need a damned good one to fool her now."

[Aisling]

Mictlantecuhtli nearly facepalms himself.
"Have you forgotten your Geography Lessons? There is a Hell Michigan which you could have told her to look up. Use your brain and not your tongue. Try using something called Google Search to find answers. Come here and boot up your Laptop, boy. I will show you a few things and get you started on the your number one source of information about any human thing."

"Well, alright," Rowan said. "But you seem to be missing three point. It's not about finding a place called hell, it's about fixing this problem I've created."

Rowan went and turned on this laptop thing. Apparently it would have all the information he would need.

Mictlantecuhtli smiled a he began to explain.
"First you have to explain that there is a Hell. You can also explain that you occasionally like to use euphemisms while is why you used the term that you did use and I am assuming you used Sam's Hill. If you type in the word euphemism, you will see the various meanings of it. If I remember correctly there is a site called Dictionary.Com and the meaning there will say: the substitution of a mild, indirect, or vague expression for one thought to be offensive, harsh, or blunt.

Now I suggest that you apologize, saying that you do like to play pranks and try to get the better of your brothers. You could even tell a little bit about how the three of you are a bit competitive in finding ways to outdo each other. Also be careful of what you say and do from now on. Any other specific questions?"

"That doesn't sound like me, but it's not like I've got a better idea. If this somehow works, I'll have to thank you, Mictlantecuhtli," Ruomahl said. "She's not out there now, so there's no chance of doing it now. I'll be here and you can do whatever it is that you do.

Rowan then went back to this laptop that he had apparently turned on. He seemed to have been taught the basics, but he truly didn't have any idea what was going on. Whatever the case may be, however, he'd first check out whatever .com meant, then he'd go to this "online" dictionary. After that he'd see if they had anything about math on this internet, since his algebra was a little rusty. He'd probably be there for a while.

Mictlantecuhtli leaned against the wall as he spoke.

"I have no appointments now since they are canceled. I'll hang around and see if you have any other problems. There is one thing that you could try...... you could knock on the ladies door."

Bessie fell asleep and was dreaming at this time.....

Rowan wasn't in a hurry to tell Bessie. He'd let her have some rest before he bothered her any further. They both needed some rest. After looking at a few things online, Rowan checked his e-mail. Bessie hadn't sent him the work yet, so Rowan took it easy. At the moment, he did not really know what to do, so for now he spent his time messing around, finding out more about the way Earth and the internet operated.

Mictlantecuhtli became bored and wandered off without a word.

Bessie stretched herself as she woke up. She went to her desk and pulled up several files on her laptop. Next she sent them to Rowan with a note

Rowan, Here are the Mathematics tests. When you are done with them, please send them back to me. I hope that you are working on your laptop. If you are, you will see an envelope appear on the taskbar with a ding sound. -Bessie

She sent the email and began to play her games for a while.

A beep sound came from his computer, and some type of notification had appeared. Fortunately, Rowan had already discovered that sound also came from this thing, and had been listening to music. He clicked on the symbol which resembled the envelope of a letter, and something popped up. These were the mathematics tests that Bessie had mentioned. It would be odd using these Arabic numbers instead of his native number system, but he would have to make do with it.

"So, how do I do them?" Rowan thought out loud.

Was there some kind of method in which he could accomplish this task? He did not know it, assuming there was. This was not a written test, in which he could write down the answers of the questions on a piece of paper. He'd have to figure out something.

So time passed, and Rowan figured out how to do Microsoft Word. Once that tribulation was dealt with, Rowan went through the test with flying colors. Mathematics was a subject he comprehended well, even if it was not a subject he enjoyed as much as something involving literature. As he had studied from Algebra to Calculus, he was able to correctly formulate the answers. Even if he had not been the most diligent of students, something he would deny, he at least had learned quite a lot about mathematics and literature, but the literary knowledge was useless here.

Bessie used the information from famous people that anyone should have heard of for her testing. She included Shakespeare, Tennyson, Keats, and Orwell. J. R. R. Tolkien was a favorite of hers so she included a few selected passages from The Hobbit and The Trilogy.
Next set was vocabulary and a spelling test where the laptop would say a word and he would have to type it in. Her last test was a short easy where he would have to make a story about a imaginary creature.

She then went to his room to make sure that he was doing ok. She knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

Rowan went to answer the door. For some reason, he felt his heart pounding. When he opened the door, Bessie was there. Now was the time to do what he had been planning, and say what he had been planning to say.

"Hello, um," Rowan said. "I just wanna say that...I'm sorry for early. I was rude...to you, and I'm sorry for that."

[Aisling]

"Uhhhhh...... It is ok. Perhaps I came on a bit too strong but I really did not want to be a tutor.... let's just start over.
By the way, were you able to figure out anything about the laptop and how it runs? I sent you the Mathematics Tests. " Bessie asked.

"Yes, I've been on that thing," Rowan said. "And I got the message. Anyway, I've been working on them, and a few minutes ago I sent back to you my answers."

[Aisling]

"You had no problems then. That is good news. I'll send the English ones next but not until tomorrow. Are there any questions that I can answer for you? Or anything that you want to see or do?" Bessie asked as she tried to think of something to say to Rowan.

"I don't really have anything to do, so what were you planning on doing?" Rowan said.

He figured that he would just accompany her, if she accepted. He didn't have very much to do, and thought that it would be better if he did have something to do. Perhaps he would even get closer to Bessie. There were the reasons of that he was supposed to do that, as well as the fact that it was worth it for its own reasons.

Zairos sat staring at the screen. "Humans are vile creatures, my pride tells me to defy everything she has told me to do. She's obnoxious, evil and scary. I guess if I want to rule I'll do what she says. Yet I can't watch this, I'll just sleep until she gets back."

Zairos made his way to the bed and fell asleep on top of the sheets.

"Well...... I was going to do some art work. You know start drawing a new picture. or perhaps take a wake. I am not sure what else to do."Bessie spoke unsure like.
"Perhaps we can do something together?"

"Well, if you just wanted to be alone, that's fine too," Ruomahl said.

[Aisling]

"Actually, I'd like to get to know the real you. Find out what you like to do, what kind of books you read and stuff like that..... That is if you want to talk for a bit." Bessie spoke softly.

Rowan was a bit unsure of himself. He did not read any human literature. Nonetheless, it would be necessary to talk of himself when he was engaged in conversation with her. In general, it seemed like she was adamant about learning about him. He was not sure how he'd carry this out.

"Me? I don't read very much," Rowan said. "Why don't we talk about you? I don't know very much about you."
